So I read a post that reminded me of my dad. This man is the human form of toxic masculinity, he’s gotten better since becoming a grandpa. But you know no crying near him cause that’s for the weak no hugs or any form of affection you get it. Now for the event 2017 hurricane Maria hit my island Puerto Rico and just my luck I got my period during it. Now the pain was unbearable the bleeding was like a massacre I was in the shower passing out from exhaustion. No energy no gas for the cars no hospitals or doctors available. Now this 55 year old tank man left me with my mom and went by foot to look for an open store. He got me maxi pads, pain killers, dark chocolate (it helps with the pain) salty chips (he said it should help with the bleeding🤣) and lemon juice. Almost 2 hours later he came back told my mom to cover me I was sweating so she had me in underwear. He started to throw me a gallon of cold rain water to regulate my temperature. This man who never touched me was stroking my hair, holding my head while giving me lemon juice. When I looked at him he was crying not full but I saw tears. I asked how he knew what pads were 🤣 his answer “Your mother gave me 2 kids who do you think took care of her during quarantine” That day I saw my dad in a different light. I realized he was always present from the sidelines. Not emotionally available but always ready to give the fight to make sure his kids are safe. Now seeing him with my son I’m teaching him how to be emotionally available and connected with his grandson. He did his best with what he had and it was enough. Someday I may print this and show it to him to thank him without actually saying it cause he won’t like that since you know he’s a manly man 🤣

¿Cual es la obsesión con Puertorriqueños guiando y tirándose de carril en carril sin poner la señal de virar? Es mucho peor cuando se tiran de carril en medio de un tapón sin poner la señal de virar. I recently got a second hand laptop ( windows 10) from a mate just to play sims on,
My home wifi will not show up at all but every other wifi near by will and i can connect to my hotspot, I’ve tried everything youtube has recommended, It seems to be an issue with my home wifi.
It connects to all other devices fine except our sound bar.
Not sure what to do to get it to come up, i have also tried manually connecting it but it still doesn’t work.
Would love some help as i paid for the laptop and its useless to me without wifi.

I was no where near the requirements, but I was training daily. I had a drive in me I never had before in my entire life. I tried contacting a recruiter, I pretty much gave myself up and let him know about my awful history including drugs and mental health. He didn’t say anything about the drugs but the self harm was a big issue for him, ended up saying it’d be pretty hard to get me in and declined. Even though it had been a substantial amount of time since I had done anything like that.
It’s been almost a year since I had that phone call with him. Over time I tried convincing myself that maybe it was for the better and looked at other career choices. I still want to move on with that career, but I can’t help but wanting to do what I wanted to do for so long, help people. All those desires came RUSHING back when I saw the police footage of the Nashville shooting. Being swift and efficient to protect the school and eliminate the threat. Straight chills, I want that to be me. I can’t ignore all the signs I’m getting today, seeing fighter jets (live in Florida), seeing service members in the gym, the constant thought of wanting to suffer again in the pool. Pararescue was my dream and it looks like I still have a strong desire to be there.
What should I do? I’m almost certain even if I don’t tell about my scars, once I show up and they see them it’s wraps. I was so mad at them for so long but I realize it’s just cause I wanted to be apart of them.

I called him to ask for electrician recommendations and he said "it's probably the ghost" and I was like, what ghost!? He proceeded to tell me that a child hung themselves in my home in the 40's but I don't know if I'd be able to find anything about it online. Does anyone have tips on how to confirm this rumor?

I am nearly 23 and hv worked for my current company for a year. During the past year, my work was not much. Recently i take over some and the last thur is so difficult for me when everything get deadline on the same time, iam still practicing with the new one( i work in the office and need to work with many people). That day many people asked and pushed me. So i have to OT of course. When the office just remain 4 people (include my leader). I cried cause everything still the mess. So my leader saw me like that she helps me and say that she will share mine with everyone cause some have many free time. Idk but i feel i am so bad and weak. Although i feel like my workload is bigger than others except my leader. But even big i need to finished them right?

Screenshot attached. Basically, during the Withergate questline I climbed the peak myself rather than asking for an escort. I spoke to Elios fine, but when I returned I noticed the quest was still active to request an escort, and Rosa took me to the peak as normal. I couldn't speak to her or Elios so I returned and continued on with further quests, ignoring the "commune with Elios" objective.
As a result, on the "On Your Own" quest I went to the peak, but the quest fails to update when I reach Elios and he will not speak to me. I have no idea how to fix this and I really don't want to start over. Is there a way to remove the broken quest from my log and force it to progress properly?

Hello RocketLeague. Today im going to complain, and suggest something for the game. ive been grinding ones recently, and almost every single game im playing against a champ 1 or sometimes champ 2, when im only in plat 3. It just doesnt make sense to me when i want to have a fair game and i keep getting put against CHAMPS. Please psyonix make a system that increases your other playlists to somewhere near your highest playlist because its broken.

I’m realizing through this process that every bra I’ve ever had has been squishing my boobs down. What a revelation!
I’ve posted my measurements a few times already here, and based on that and some bras I have tried, I think my correct size is a 30DD/E. However, most bras for this size are the wrong shape - my roots are narrow and my breasts are very projected (apparently!) with all the volume below the nipple and center-full.
I think the cup shape I need is something like this but it doesn’t come in my size, and I also tend to find wide set straps uncomfortable in the armpits. Also I hate seams and lace…but the cup SHAPE seems right to me. Does anyone know of any bras with this shape cup but straps closer in, and no seams or lace or texture?
Also, side rant: why are all bras for D+ cups so lacy and strappy and have all these extra bits and bobs??? I just want a basic, regular bra!

My FAA medical nightmare need advice before I drop $3500 on a psych eval.
I am about 15 hours into my PPL, but I stopped when I started having issues getting my medical completed. I didn’t want to sink too much money into it before I had the medical thing locked down.
After my kid graduated high school, and I went through a divorce I decided to change course and do things for me instead of taking care of others. I always dreamed of flying, and I always thought I missed my calling, so I decided to give it a shot as it was something I had wanted to do since I was a kid.
When I initially went to get my AME exam (NOV 2021) I was still on an antidepressant from a bad divorce situation. No one told me what this shit storm would involve, or I would have waited. My medical paperwork showed I requested my PCP put me on one to see if it helped, never diagnosed with anything. So I took 6 months to get off the med, and be clear of things and responded to the FAA. During that process they requested my entire medical history (JULY 2022), which is fine, but it exposed the fact that I had an IBS issue in the past, so they requested documentation for how I was handling that. Easy enough. But I was also surprised that there was some obscure reference to marijuana in my medical record. Verbatim was “has quit marijuana”, which triggered additional questions from FAA. The off handed remark I made to the doctor was that back in ~2017 I had tried everything to alleviate my symptoms of IBS, and even tried edibles while in Vegas that year. Apparently, that Nurse Practitioner put that shit in my medical record. So that meant that Letter 3 (October 2022) from the FAA requested a piss test in under 72 hours, detailed statement for frequency of use, all economic and legal issues I faced, any treatment records for my “abuse” and all clinical notes for my IBS issues. Easy to respond to, but now I got forwarded to a FAA department called “Drug and Alcohol” or something that piled on the issues. FAA letter 3 asked for a Psych eval, a medical release to the psych eval guy, and more IBS paperwork. This is when the slowdown kicked in. The psych eval guy requested (JAN 2023) all my previous military records, including all disability paperwork, and all medical records since I had them released the first time. The VA paperwork I had handy-easy enough, but I carry 2 disabilities from the VA. 1 for IBS which they attribute to the burn pit crap that you may have seen in the news, and 1 for my knees. But there’s yet another catch to this…apparently in the VA paperwork I was submitted had a request to be considered for PTSD, Alcoholism, sciatica, ankles, and a few other little things, all of which were denied (yes its in the same paperwork) since they didn’t apply. Never had those issues at all, but its in my paperwork. The lady when I was submitting for VA benefits, threw everything at the wall to see if I could get approved for anything which is common when exiting the military around when I did, even though all I was really asking for was my knees at the time. Since all this Psych eval stuff was taking so long to release all these records, and waiting on my HIMS doc to refer me, I received a medical denial letter (MARCH 2023) from the FAA for taking too long. My HIMS doc has said “denials don’t matter”, which seems like some BS to me, but thinks I should move forward with the psych eval. I had previously requested extensions every time my HIMS doc asked me to, and this is the first time they told me no. At this point its been nearly 2 years of paperwork, and to say I am feeling discouraged is an understatement.
So basically, its down to is it worth spending this money only to get denied a medical anyway? I am over 40 and I am tired of working my IT job. It pays really well, and affords me the ability to pay for my PPL, but I had hopes of one day flying FEDEX or UPS for a second career to get away from IT. I am only trying to get a 3rd class, and I am sure if I went career pilot its only to get higher scrutiny.
Tell me. Is it worth paying to get through this? Am I basically screwed for life with the FAA? Will I even be able to get a first class in the future? Is this all a pipe dream? I feel like I am the only one that is telling the truth about my life to the FAA….
