I've got the opportunity to upgrade my espresso machine but it's really not a easy as it first seemed.
I currently have a Bambino Plus and have really been enjoying the coffee I've been making with it. The things that I feel could be better are temperature control (It has none) and the steaming could be more powerful. The big plus points for me with this machine are the almost instant warm up time and the size of it.
I think my biggest issue is that I don't have a set budget so I keep creeping up the ladder to higher end machines but either they just end up being physically too large or I can't really justify the price to myself for the amount of coffee I'm making.
I only make 2-3 mostly milk drinks on weekdays and 4-5 on weekends.
I have physical space constraints, a width of 40cm is my absolute max I have a depth of about 47cm and it needs to go under overhead cabinets leaving me 60cm of total height but again 40 is probably the max size of machine I'd want)
My first though was a HX machine, maybe a Lelit Mara X or a Profitec Pro 400 or 500
Then while researching I got dragged up to dual boilers and the Lelit Bianca and were smaller in size I'd probably not be making this post and once I had more time to think about it. It's probably a huge waste of energy for a couple of drinks a day.
I also thought about sticking with Thermoblock for fast warm up times and the Ascaso Steel Duo seems to fit the bill. The Decent is an option but I feel like I don't make enough coffee or experiment enough for it to be wise purchase. Also I have a fairly advanced smart home so having a machine turn on 30 minutes ahead of me usually needing it isn't such a big problem.
While suggestions on specific machines would be appreciated I'm looking for opinions on which type of machine best fits my use case.

I am soon to be looking to do the finish work (trim, paint, caulk, etc.) on two new bathrooms in my home. I finished the first bathroom a little over 2 years ago in an attempt to maintain the families ability to have restroom facilities during the larger current remodel.
While doing my morning sit down this morning I was staring at this corner thinking "almost all of the aspects of the finish work are represented in this one little space." - We will be using smaller and rounded Schluter trim on top of baseboard because this square shape catches too much dust and is sticking out beyond the door trim and the tile face.
- Caulk before the last paint coat so it can be painted over.
- I cut the door trim too high.
- Need kick plate cover on cabinets.
- Do a better job of scribe cutting the cabinets so I don't need trim to cover it.
- I don't like seeing the wood transition under the door.
- I feel like maybe I used the caulk in some places that I shouldn't have?

It's the 'most' that stands out to me because it implies two things. One, that there were at least three Fazbear locations in operation at the time of the sealing, because 'most' wouldn't make sense if there were only one or two. And two, that there was at least one location where they DIDN'T seal the safe room, because if all of them were sealed Phone Guy would have said 'all locations' instead.
I've tried thinking of other interpretations of that phrasing, such as them only sealing the safe rooms in working locations and not bothering with any closed-down ones, but I can't think why PG would bother to specify that the closed locations weren't going to be touched - it seems far more likely that's he's only talking about the working locations, given his warning about personal belongings not being retrievable.
So why keep a safe room open after the MCI? Their only stated purpose was as a backup location for employees to go in the event of a springlock failure, and as storage for unused equipment. But there's no reason the unused equipment couldn't just be kept in the normal parts and services room, or sold off /scrapped if there wasn't room for it, and after the springlock retirement there would be no reason to keep the room available for failure events.
Under MCI83 I can think of a reason - maybe there was one location that didn't stop using springlock suits (Fredbear's) because they were the only animatronics they had and they were the headline attractions, so they couldn't afford to ditch them and that necessitated keeping the safe room for springlock failure events. Under MCI85, though, I can't think of a good reason why they wouldn't close down all of the safe rooms at the same time.

- R5 stat minimum: You need 25k HP and 1.5k DEF for FL units and 20k HP and 0.8-1k DEF for BL units. Healers and your cleanser should have 100% RES after lead.
- Rift unit options: Xiao Lin, Theomars, Fran, Colleen, and 2A Kro can be used in most of your rift teams. FL Mav/Bernard is good for Water rift and Lapis is good for Fire and Dark rifts. Twins are great in all rifts.
Common speed teams
- R5 - BJ5: Colleen, Baleygr, Janssen, Dagora, Loren, lead unit (BJ5 guide)
- DB12 - Tricaru: Verde (L), 2A Icaru, 2A Icaru, 2A Icaru (guide (Note: DEF requirement is 3300)) (Cheatsheet) (Calculator)
- NB12 - Tricaru: Either add Astar or replace Verde with her (on vamp, same stats). Adding Astar and Lushen to clear waves first also works.

- PB10 - Tricaru: Kill towers first (usually L>R>B but some people reported R>L>B working better for them).

PvE accuracy requirements
Rifts need no ACC. R5 needs 15%. SB10 needs 25%. PB10 39%. ToA(H), GB10, and NB10 45%. DB10, GB12, NB12 and ToA Hell 55%. DB12 needs 65%.General tips and answers to Frequently Asked Questions:
- NEVER feed non-farmable monsters! (you can feed dupes for skill ups)
- Save your devilmons! In general you do not want to give devilmon to 4* units, Sigmarus and Jeanne are the best early game candidates. Veromos does not need devilmon.
- Best summon stone targets: Tyron, Lushen, Shaina, Sabrina, Talia. For PvP Khmun, Skogul, Galleon.
- Check the events for free energy, mana, and other beneficial stuff. To find the current event pages use the button below the energy/mana counter in-game.
- Lapis can farm Faimon Hell on the free 6* level 15 vampire/revenge runes provided by the challenges. She should be your first 5* and probably 6* as well.
- Shield sets can reduce the HP/DEF requirements on other units and multiple shield sets will stack to form one larger total shield. Each set contributes a shield equal to 15% of the base HP of the monster they are equipped on.
- White artifacts from B2 are cheap to upgrade and can give you a massive stat boost early.
- Hall of Heroes (HoH) should be attempted as high as you can climb. Reps like Rica or Verad can help a lot. Mid/late game players can get 5 extra copies of the HoH monster using almighty scroll pieces after each floor at the small cost of 2000 guild points for each extra monster.
- Most nat 5*s are PvP exclusive and should be set aside in storage till you make some progress on PvE. Some exceptions are CC units like Rica for ToA, cleansers like Anavel for starter R5, and Perna for rifts.
- Dimensional hole energy should be spent as soon as possible, always try to stay under the energy cap (recharge rate: 1 per 2h). 2A Kro first, then Spectra or Raoq.

Looking to build my first PC, and have no clue what I'm doing. Budget is around 1200$ USD but can stretch to 1500$ if I'm spending the money anyway. I honestly don't do much for productivity and only game occasionally, but would like to do both at a reasonable performance every once in a while, and watch movies/YouTube :) . I'm used to a 1050ti laptop so mostly anything would be an upgrade. Not to keen on paying more for RGB and would prefer black/silver or blackout look anyway. This is kind of where I'm at right now on my build.
CPU: Is it better to go with 5600 and save money (140$), 5700x (190$), or splurge on 5800x3d (320$). Also fine with Intel if there are any good competitors. Mostly leaning towards 5700x in the middle, but am happy with saving 50$ if I would never tell the difference in 5600.
GPU: No clue. Not looking for 4K but would like to play games at 1440p with decent frames, and watch movies at high res. Willing to spend more on if it means getting the most out of the other stuff I'm spending money on. Or for potential 5800x3d Upgrade down the road. Preferably under (600$)
MoBo: B550 seems to be what I need but have no clue which one. I? F? M? WIFI? BIOS? PCIE? I'm at a complete loss. I am unable to connect to ethernet and just use WIFI. MSI mag b550 max WIFI ?

I dont need any fancy features, i mainly use it for calls and occasional web browsing/apps. I currently have a Xiaomi Redmi 5 plus for reference, which i got in 2018 for AUD $250.
I currently live in Singapore and the carriers here dont have locking restrictions, so any global phone should work. I am looking for something below SGD $250 (roughly under $200 USD) with good battery life and a decent screen. No preferred brands.
I would prefer a phone with good battery life, but im not sure how to measure it (most specs only include the size of the battery, but not the actual battery life). I do not want a phone that weighs like a brick however (some of the phones i looked at were close to 500g with massive batteries, i do not want that).
One thing that I noticed is that the Xiaomi redmi 5 plus has a very good resolution and PPI : 1080 x 2160 pixels, 18:9 ratio (~403 ppi density), but most of the budget phones that I looked at like the Poco c40 seem to have only 720 x 1650 pixels (~268 ppi density). So i would prefer something similar to 1080 x 2160.
Something like 4gb ram and 64gb storage should be sufficient for me. I am unlikely to use more.
An example of a phone that i was looking at is the Poco C40 but apparently it runs god awful slow. It is very cheap however and can be had for about SGD $150 (~USD 100).
If the phone comes in blue, that is a huge plus.
Any recomemndations? Something like the Poco M5 seems good, its roughly SGD $200 and it has a good screen, but battery life seems merely average.

Writing this while i'm in Japan under the sakura. Last day sadly.
So .. here's my story
Currently 26 y/o. Born and raised in Kuwait. I had a very religious upbringing - Shia muslims - almost everything I wanted is "Haram" (Forbidden by the religion).
I wanted a pet dog, I wanted to play music, I wanted to play chess, I wanted to interact with both sexes. All Haram. My social life was limited to boy school and muslim camps in summer.
Years later, I had a scholarship to study abroad. It's my chance to be who I want to be. Follow my own belief. I was scared. Idk how to live if i chose that path. I am agnostic. My "family" would kill me. Would abandon me. I had no money and can't be independent. After graduation, my visa ends and I have to work back home because kuwait sponsored me, otherwise I had to return all the scholarship money back.
During that time, I fell in love with someone. For that person, I slowly made a plan to be myself and live the life I want and gradually telling my "parents" through hints. I saved myself for that person. For 7 years. I asked my mom to talk to her mom (the traditional way). Her mom said she doesn't want to get married until she's done studying. I spoke to the girl herself and she said the same thing.
A journey of being myself and a journey of love running simultaneously. In July 2019 during my final year of uni (Dentistry), i was locked up inside a storage room for 1 month cuz i told my "family" i'm agnostic. It's lockdown and I couldn't leave the house. I was abused the whole month. Threatened to death multiple times.
Airports are closed. I couldn't eat and I kept throwing up stomach acid every day at least twice a day. I lost 15 kg in 1 month. I took the first flight abroad back to my uni as soon as the airport opened up.
Suffered from PTSD and failed my final exam. Eventually, passed it with resit. Came back but never came "home". Was homeless even though I had money. I started working as a dentist. Kuwait doesn't rent for single young men. It's not illegal but it's an unspoken rule. No one accepted me to rent their place. So I slept in my car and showered in gym. Until someone finally accepted me renting their place.
I was cut from family wealth. Abandoned. I've never seen or spoken to any of my "family" members since 2019. At the same time, the one I liked told me she's not interested in me and was sleeping around with guys. Lusting for others. Travelling to guys for one night stands. No judgment but it killed me.
I went all out sleeping with women and drinking but i felt nothing. I suffer from anhedonia and it's hard to find pleasure. Additionally, on one side of my "family", all suffer from heart diseases and the other side suffer from severe depression and colon diseases. Guess what .. I inherited all.
Currently I'm working on multiple life routes. I am applying to the NHS to work in the UK as a general dentist starting August 2023. I want to leave the country asap. Meanwhile , i'm applying to a couple of universities for postgrad orthodontic course. The downside of the latter is that I'll be sponsored by Kuwait and once im done with postgrad i have to go back and work for the gov the same amount of years I studied.
I want to find love and yet im still scarred from what happened. I am lost and idk where my life is going. Women in Kuwait are looking for 6'5 tall guys who are rich with a well known family and muslim even if they dont stick to islamic rules and expecting a very luxurious life with crazy requests like expecting a gift every month or something.
I wish to find someone who is flexible with life and takes risks & someone genuine with love and appreciative. I want to have a clear goal. I wanna feel pleasure again. I want something like a family.
I managed to learn how to play acoustic guitar and be a divemaster in the midst of all the chaos but otherwise i feel like im wasting my time. People around me are living happily with their families and saving up, while i live my life independently. Don't get me wrong .. im so proud but i feel like im being punished instead of being rewarded. I dont feel like i fit or belong anywhere.

I (23F) have a roommate (21M) who lives under me in a 3bd house. We've lived together for about 4 months now, and the whole experience has been terrible for me.
He claims that he was a culinary specialist in the Army, which led me to believe he was disciplined and clean. He's not sanitary at all, his room stays an absolute wreck. When he cooks, he will touch the food and then touch the cabinets and touch the doors and walls and contaminate all these surfaces with stickiness & food debris, l've asked him NUMEROUS times not to do that and that I shouldn't have to clean these surfaces everyday. He puts away visibly dirty/greasy dishes in the cabinets & has loaded dirty dishes into the dish washer on top of clean dishes because he's too lazy to unload the dishwasher. The kitchen is my biggest thing because l'm particular about the environment my food is made in, it should always be kept spotless IMO. Every time I clean the house it takes me at least 2 hours just in the kitchen going over everything that he has dirtied and reorganizing things where they should be. Like for example the pantry is setup top shelf- chips and cereal, second shelf-canned goods, third shelf-baking goods etc., and he just throws everything wherever he wants. He makes me out to seem like I'm OCD and bitchy, but just feel like 'm trying to keep a presentable house.
Our trash gets picked up every week and he's only taken the bins to the curb maybe a handful of times since he's lived here. The main hallway bathroom always stays a mess, and l've told him that even though that is considered his bathroom it is still a bathroom that is supposed to be kept in good shape so guests can use it when they come over. He sleeps on the furniture in the living room (which is mine) even when l've asked him not to many times because it wears the cushions down.. There's MANY other things, but I didn't want to make the post that long & you get the point. I'd hate to ask him to move out because I feel like it would ruin our friendship, and I also felt like I should help him transition from being in the army to real adult life. I think I'm at a breaking point, but before I proceed, WIBTA?

I installed Emby in jail and everything is set up fine except I need to know how to set up an Emby library that can read from the storage pool that I created under /mnt/Storage/Data. I have the shares created but the only thing thats pulling up under the library is /mnt with no shares. I've read that apps are installed within jails that cannot access anything outside the jails so there must be some type of configuration I need to do for the library to access the storage shares.
