2023.03.29 11:50 itllbeokontheday Does anyone remember the old guy who used to sell leather bracelets around Town Hall 80s/90s even 2000s ?

I remember hanging out in the city as a teen on George St in the late 80s early 90s and there was a tall shady looking thin guy with a hooked nose with a trench coat that used to sell these plaited leather bracelet things. Back then we used to avoid him as he looked suss.
As an adult working in Sydney around Central/Town Hall I still used to see him on the streets selling the same leather plaited bracelets, same trench coat. Since then I've always wondered about his story, as there was no way he'd be making enough $$ to support himself selling the handful of plaited leather you'd see him with daily..
Does anyone else remember him and know about his story ?

2023.03.29 11:46 swanson1848 Hey I am a 27 year Old Autistic Women With little Money but thinking about starting fresh . Is new hope a good place for that?

Hello . This will be a long and Dramatic and Very likely Poorly spelled Post So I do apologies but if any residents of New Hope can give me Advice Would be grate;
I Live in Pittsburgh PA I have all m y life my family were hear And I am a High functioning Autistic (Formerly Aspergers ) and a Trans female (But nobody would know and I do not go around bandying tht about). Being I have Aspergers finding gainful employment for most of my adult life has been hard but I did do Volunteering work at my Local Libraries and got references. Briefly worked for this Restaurant owner who was a NIGHTMAIR to work for and worked almost every season at a Flower shop (SOMETHING I LOVED) for every year from 2017 until covid hit . Due to my difficulties and My fears of going out into the world on my own and the Incertinties it entails I stayed closer to home and at home bc my family were hear. Over the last 10 years allmost every member of my immediate family has died . I have never really caired for my home city There are good things but for me the work is scant, public transport is a pain in the ass and finding a decent guy is allso a pain in the ass. for the last several years I have been I guess you would say a Companion to my ageing Grandpa who has Diabetes and many other health problems. We both looked after eachother and enjoyed our company. Sadly he is not a rich man He attempted to leave me his pension so i had some money when he passed but that turned out to not be a GO plan. He is dieing his house the Oly asset and that does not go to me nor could I afford to maintain it anyhow now. Plus we learned the nursing home/Hospice could take the house as collateral if they wished bc. my grandpa never set things legally into place to prevent that. So ither way it seems I may have to leave the Home and place I have grown up in and felt safe in. My remaining family are not a Massive help well meaning but not a healp. I do not have many friends at the moment who can help , I only started to search for new groups of friends and brave the dating scean again. Found friends but few are in a postion to help and as far as finding a BF or Husband ........................ZILCH ! A Friend of mine recently suggested that mbe I move to another town or city. New York City he said Has AMAZING Assistance to the poor he said "They just give shit away". But I am not Keen to live in NYNY I allso hear cities like Boston and the state of Road Island allso have good State assistance for the Poor. Pa I have heard is REMARKABLY also said to be a good state for assistance and Gov Programs to help people like Me so maybe its just Pittsburgh is not a good place for Folks Like Me? Anyway I have been yearning for a more small town but not Hick City Like many towns in what is Called (Pennsaltucky) LOL !
I mean i know there are good Folks from there but somebody like me would not fair well. its not like I am some Cali liberal but you know what I mean. I Love old houses and history and I take a interest and Agricultural persutes so new hope seems Grate. And I Learned of new hope from some Paranormal Documentaries from the early 2000's and thought it looks like a nice place to live or work.
I know Taxes and Property rates are high in New Hope, there is a lot of noise from a Airport 9 miles away and Humidity is INSANE. But I am just considering it as a possibility and just trying to think of Plans you know . As of Right now I literally arrive in town with VERY little money No Car (Id need to take a bus or train if any re neer by) need to find somebody kind and understanding to give me work and then a decent place to rent, I would have few belongings with me being I would have to arrive with only what I could carry most of my other things id have to leave with family till i could aford to have then sent down. good people to help me build my life BC I would never have done this on my own ..................EVER. If you look in my post history Yes you will find I am a Lusty and Dirty Girl but there is WAYYYYY More to me than that Believe me. I am just a Sad poor Girl who has had bad luck in life and is looking for some place nice and safe and were i might fit in to start a new life, make friends (Find a Husband) and settle for a while. Massive American cities like NY NY Despite there many Attractions do not appeal to me . Your thoughts ? Advice?

2023.03.29 11:26 StelarCelarDweler The Frayed Threads of Fate - Chapter 1

The sun streamed through the windows of the McDonald's, casting a warm, golden glow on the faces of four friends sitting in a booth. They were laughing and enjoying their breakfast, a light-hearted banter filling the air. The comfortable hum of idle chatter mingled with the sizzle of the deep fryer, and the scent of warm, greasy food wafted through the restaurant.
Daymion Gallo, a 20-year-old male with red hair and blue eyes, took a sip of his coffee before addressing his friends. "So, are we all set for the day trip to Flagstaff? I heard there's an amazing spot for photos up in the mountains."
Shaemus Heginbotham, Daymion's 22-year-old brother, pushed up his glasses with a hint of excitement in his blue eyes. "Definitely! I've been doing some research, and there's a place called 'Aspen Corner.' It's supposed to be incredible this time of year. The leaves are changing, and the views are breathtaking."
Karina Traynor, Daymion's girlfriend, brushed a strand of her medium-length brown hair behind her ear as she listened intently. Her brown eyes lit up at the idea of an adventure with her friends. "That sounds perfect! I've been wanting to get some new photos for my Instagram. Plus, I've never been to Flagstaff before."
Reganne Ghirardelli, a 5-foot-3 brunette with brown eyes and Shaemus's fiancée, chimed in. "Count me in! It'll be nice to get out of the city for a day, and I'm excited to see what Flagstaff has to offer."
As they continued to discuss their plans, Daymion suddenly felt a chill crawl up his spine. His vision blurred, and he found himself in a nightmarish scene set within the McDonald's. The once bustling restaurant was now eerily silent, and time seemed to slow down as he observed a series of events unfolding before him.
An employee, carrying a tray laden with food and drinks, slipped on a puddle of soda that had gone unnoticed. The tray flew into the air, and the contents tumbled to the ground in slow motion. A large cup of iced coffee collided with a helium-filled promotional balloon, which had been drifting lazily near the ceiling. The balloon, now punctured, spiraled out of control, its ribbon wrapping around a decorative paper banner hanging from the ceiling.
The weight of the balloon tugged at the banner, which was anchored to a wall-mounted TV on one end. The force was enough to dislodge the television from its mount, causing it to crash onto the counter below. The impact sent a canister of powdered coffee creamer flying into the air, scattering its contents like a cloud of dust.
The friends, seated together in the booth, watched the bizarre scene unfold before them. As the cloud of powdered creamer hung in the air, a nearby heat source—an exposed wire in a malfunctioning electrical outlet—ignited the highly flammable dust.
Flames erupted, and the fire spread rapidly throughout the restaurant. Reganne, who had been closest to the outlet, was quickly engulfed by the flames. Her friends looked on in horror as the fire consumed her, leaving them paralyzed with shock and disbelief.
Shaemus, desperate to save Reganne, grabbed a fire extinguisher from the wall. He pulled the pin and aimed it at the fire, but in his panic, he failed to notice that the extinguisher had been tampered with.
The pressure gauge showed it was overcharged, making it a dangerous weapon rather than a life-saving tool. As Shaemus squeezed the handle, the extinguisher exploded in his hands, sending shrapnel through the air. A jagged piece struck him in the temple, and he collapsed to the ground, lifeless.
Karina, realizing that the situation was growing dire, frantically searched for an escape route. She noticed a window that led to the outside and made a run for it, hoping to break it open with a nearby chair. However, as she lifted the chair to smash the window, a dislodged ceiling tile, weakened by the flames, fell onto her. The heavy tile struck her head, causing her to lose consciousness and collapse onto the floor, the fire closing in around her.
Daymion, now the last of the group still conscious, fought to maintain his composure amidst the chaos. The fire roared around him, and the heat was nearly unbearable. He spotted an emergency exit and made a desperate dash towards it, his heart pounding in his chest. Just as he was about to reach the door, a support beam, weakened by the flames, collapsed in front of him, blocking his path.
Trapped and with no way out, Daymion felt a sense of hopelessness wash over him. He closed his eyes and braced himself for the inevitable. But in that instant, the horrific vision faded away, and he found himself back in the booth with his friends, the restaurant once again bustling with life.
Disoriented and shaken, Daymion took a moment to process the terrifying vision he had just experienced. He knew that he had to act quickly to prevent the horrifying chain of events from becoming a reality.
"Guys, we need to get out of here right now!" Daymion exclaimed, urgency lacing his voice. The others, startled by his sudden outburst, exchanged confused glances but could see the fear in Daymion's eyes.
Without waiting for a response, Daymion hurriedly ushered his friends out of the booth and towards the exit. As they left the restaurant, the chain of events from Daymion's vision began to unfold behind them.
From the safety of the parking lot, the group of friends watched in shock as the McDonald's burst into flames. Daymion's heart raced as he realized the gravity of the situation and the narrow escape they had just experienced. Though the ordeal had been harrowing, he knew that his vision had given him the opportunity to save his friends from a gruesome fate.

2023.03.29 11:13 StepwiseUndrape574 Latest GTA 6 Leak Tips A Return To Vice City

Is a trip to Vice City in your near future? There have been many Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) leaks over the last few years, but the most recent suggests that players will return to a classic GTA location. Rumor has it that Grand Theft Auto VI may take place in Vice City.
This particular rumor started through the usual sources -- Twitter and Reddit. Twitter user Vector Hold, also known as Peter Brian Rice, claimed that Rockstar Games’ music rights representatives have been contacting Synthwave artists. Rice is a synthwave artist himself and has reportedly heard this information from fellow musicians. Rockstar Games hopes that the artists will contribute music for a radio station in the upcoming game. The tweet was posted earlier this week, but Rice has since deleted it.
There was also a reddit post that was created several months ago by user “markothemexicam.” The user claimed that their information was from their roommate. The roommate supposedly formerly worked for Rockstar North. They contended that GTA 6 will be set during an “unspecified” time in Vice City. This post has also been deleted, but has been saved elsewhere on the internet.
It would be tempting to discredit this reddit post as these kinds of claims are a dime a dozen on the Internet. However, another GTA leaker also recently suggested that GTA 6 would be set in a location familiar to players. Both markothemexicam and the GTA leaker have a fairly decent track record with regards to GTA predictions.
Other information on the internet suggests that the storyline of GTA 6 will be focused on drug smuggling. Players will reportedly travel between Vice City and Central or South America. This theory was originally suggested by YouTube channel “The Know” and has since gained quite a bit of popularity.
grand theft auto vice city 2
It is important to keep in mind that all of this information is simply speculation. There have been plenty of fake GTA 6 rumors in the past. For example, a Twitch channel called "GTAVI" appeared this past spring. The channel promised it would provide information about the game during a livestream on April 1st. However, this channel turned out to be an elaborate April Fools’ prank.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC. It was the best-selling game of 2002 and received a number of awards. 17.5 million copies of the game have been sold and it has now been ported to several other platforms. It is easy to see why so many players would be thrilled to return to Vice City. Unfortunately, we will know nothing for certain until Rockstar Games decides to make a formal announcement.

2023.03.29 10:59 StepwiseUndrape574 Latest GTA 6 Leak Tips A Return To Vice City

2023.03.29 10:42 daveishere7 Why not look for a dleiveyr job outside of the food gig business?

I used to do food delivery before the apps got so popular. And it's crazy how much entitlement these apps gave customers over the years. Back when people had to order from an establishment you didn't have so much control. You called the Chinese restaurant, pizza place or whatever restaurant and ordered in the phone. And you're food will get to you eventually in the lineup the restaurant set it up for.
There was no "hey where are you" or removing any tip or rating your driver. Because try not tipping back during those times and guarantee your food won't ever get delivered again from that restaurant. Because your boss will be right on his delivery guys side instead of a cheap customer with no appreciation for the service.
I feel like if you're in one of those markets that have been suffering bad. Where you've been out there for many hours and aren't even making 2023 minimum wage numbers. Then why not just start looking for like a delivery job but one that doesn't deal with the food apps.
Because it's like whether you're a new or old driver. You kind of already have an idea of your city and how to get around. And it should be obvious at this point if you're in a market where you probably won't even be getting most bills paid. So I would say just find a more steady delivery job. Because I know people want to be "free" and not deal with a boss or manager. But freedom don't pay the bills if you're out there for 8 hours an only made $50 for the day. You'll eventually be so free that you're homeless on the street still talking shit about Uber lol.

Letters of Recommendation
(Briefly describe relationships with your recommenders and estimated rating.)
APUSH Teacher: 7.5/10, had a nice friendship with her. Though she did have a bad injury at the time of her writing my Chapman and BU letter of recc so that may have played a factor.
Chemistry Teacher: 8/10, also had a nice friendship with her. Kept up with her and made her food. Wrote my USC letter as she went there.
Counselor: 6/10, rarely talked to him but we did bond when I did have to talk to him
Internship Letter of Rec: 9.5/10, if I could reuse it for future endeavors I would. Only issue is it would be perfect towards a polisci major.
Berk Recorded: 6.5/10, Stuttered and didn't finish it on time. Got all my points across though.
(Briefly reflect on the quality of your writing, time spent, and topic of main personal statement.)
Common App: 7/10 Spent about 2 weeks on it. Wrote about my badminton history but now that I think back I shouldn't have done that but my tutor was pushing me to do so and I folded.
UC's PIQ: 7.5/10 Spent a month and half on these. They were solid topics, but when I think back, not strong topics. To be fair I've done a lot more since the time of applying but it is what it is.

Decisions (indicate ED/EA/REA/SCEA/RD)
Waiting on Berk but honestly I'm defeated at this point
Looking back my GPA wasn't the strongest and for the amount of AP's offered at my school I should've taken more. Essay's could've also been stronger but I didn't have much to work with at the time of applying. I recognized I was a mediocre student like sophomore/junior year so I tried to stack on EC to compensate but obviously schools value a better student so it is what it is.

2023.03.29 10:26 josephius132 How to identify Tourists-trap restaurants

Hi! I am traveling next week and during planning I have purposely left restaurants out as I know that there are plenty of options. But, the last few days all my feeds have been showing me people going to all these amazing places in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. However, the minute I look them up they are crazy expensive! and I am having a hard time recognising if they are really worth their value or just traps for tourists.
Do you have any tips? Or any legit places that would be worth checking in any of the cities mentioned above + Takayama?
Thank you so much!

2023.03.29 10:23 stijnos7 Citytrip Paris

I am sorry if this has been asked before. On the 4th april me and my mother are going to visit my brother, who lives in Montpellier. We are traveling by train from Amsterdam and we have a two day stop planned in Paris, before we travel further to Montpellier. We are now in doubt whether we want to stop in Paris, because of the strike and the riots. I am not that much worried about safety (thats more my mother), I mean, Paris is a big city. I was wondering if tourist attractions, restaurants, public transport etc are open. And what about the trash? What would your advice be? Thanks in advance for answering!

2023.03.29 10:05 travelersessentials 10 Mistakes to Avoid on Your First Trip to Europe

10 Mistakes to Avoid on Your First Trip to Europe
Traveling to Europe for the first time can be both a blessing and a curse. It's impossible to forget once-in-a-lifetime moments, such as seeing the Eiffel Tower at night or taking a gondola through the canals of Venice, if you go unprepared.
With our best travel tips for Europe, we've outlined exactly what not to do overseas. Avoid these rookie mistakes before your trip to minimize stress and save time and money.

Taking a Cab
Neither from the airport nor from the city. As soon as you arrive in a major European city, make use of the public transportation system. A train is the fastest way to get to the city center in Paris and Amsterdam, for example. A shuttle bus can also be a convenient and surprisingly fast alternative, such as Barcelona's Aerobus, which takes less than 40 minutes to reach the city. By avoiding high cab fares, you'll not only get a better sense of the area but also save money. Don't miss a chance to experience the historic streets if you are able to walk.
Buy tickets late
It's not a good idea to wait until you get there to purchase museum or popular attraction tickets. In Paris or Rome, scrambling last minute can leave you in a long line or worse, the venue may reach capacity and you may not be able to enter. Be sure to book all the sights you want to see in advance. Multi-day sightseeing passes are a great way to plan your trip and confirm tickets to major attractions in major cities. You may even want to book your timed-entry ticket as soon as you know the dates of your trip for extremely popular attractions, like Barcelona's Sagrada Familia, as there is a limit on how many people can visit each day.
Settling for the First Restaurant You See
Don't be surprised if the prix fixe option offered by the mob of tourists isn't as good as you had hoped. Don't take any chances when it comes to food. Set up a separate meal itinerary with reservations at local hot spots that are likely to be more affordable or at least worth your money. Plan your trip around classic and new restaurants by checking out local blogs and social media accounts. Do not eat at restaurants that advertise their menus in multiple languages if you are in desperate need of food but in the most touristy part of the city. Prepare a polite "no thanks" for the waiters waiting outside to welcome lost and hungry tourists.
Carry a ton of cash.
Don't worry, many places accept credit cards, and we're sure you have one in your wallet that won't charge foreign transaction fees. If you don't have one, look into signing up. While it's good to carry some cash, don't carry too much. It's best not to carry large amounts of cash on your person if you can avoid it. Pickpockets are quite common in tourist areas, especially in areas that attract many tourists.
Not spending plenty of time outside
Europeans love eating and drinking outdoors, so follow their example. Pick up some refreshments at a grocery store, and enjoy one of your meals at a plaza or by a river. It's a fun way to switch things up so you're not eating out all the time.
Forgetting to Check Your Phone Plan
Mobile carriers are increasingly offering international roaming plans. You can check your plan's details or call the company a few days before leaving to see if you have data abroad. Use your Google Maps app to find your way around.
Ordering Bread and water
In many restaurants, these items are not free and can quickly drive up your bill. Once you sit down, refuse that bread basket unless you're certain you want it. Get a jug of water at a convenience store for a fraction of the cost, fill up a water bottle, and carry it with you.
Not Claiming Your Refund
You may be eligible for a VAT refund if you spent a lot of time shopping in Europe. You just need to ask the retailer for the proper documentation and show it to the appropriate airport agents. Each country's process may differ, but getting money back makes them all worthwhile.
Ignore 24-hour time.
To ensure you don't miss anything, set your phone to 24-hour, or military time, if you're on a schedule. I once hung out at the Real Madrid gift shop during the game because I misread the time - don't make the same mistake.
Downplaying comfort
No matter where you go, there will be walking involved, so pack accordingly. It is never an ideal idea to explore uncomfortable clothing or footwear. If you're dressed inappropriately, don't complain and slow others down. I've been there, done that, and it's awful. The following are some comfortable, travel-friendly shoes to consider if you don't already have one.

2023.03.29 09:52 JamesonRhymer 6 Dates to Marry- THIRD DATE: Your date decides. Who would you rather ELIMINATE?

This is part 3 of a week long game we started early in the week.
Part 1:
Part 2:
But to recap, I’m fixing you up on a blind date with 6 people. Each day, you will eliminate the contestant you are least interested in. At the end of the week, we’ll see who democracy has chosen for you.
Yesterday, the sub eliminated Penn.
You called Penn up to break the news, and thankfully they were understanding.
“I’m sorry to hear that, Redditor. I rather enjoyed our chats. You’re a great hang, but I understand. I’ve been single for a while so what’s a little while longer? I’m sure I’ll find the one soon and I hope you do too. Thanks for two great dates- you’re top notch.”
For the third round, your dates are taking you out to someplace that they love and you’ll get to experience a bit of what makes them tick.
Select the person you’d like to eliminate and tomorrow, you will go on a fourth date with the remaining 3 people. You can also revisit the links up top to review the first and second dates if you want to refresh on your previous experience with each of the remaining prospects.

“Hey there’s an open window. That’s perfect, let’s go in!”
Jessen leads you through a busted out window into the cement decay of an abandoned building that looks like it hasn’t been inhabited since the 70’s.
“Are you sure this is okay?” you ask.
“Totally! I do this all the time. I love finding new abandoned buildings to explore and see what I find. It’s like modern archeology. My parents don’t know though, so don’t say anything if you meet them.”
“Sure. How did you get into this?”
“Mmm. That parts kinda weird. But long story short, I used to cut myself a lot when I was really depressed. I’d come to places like this because nobody was here. But don’t worry, that’s all in my past now. These days I just explore and mess around. You can throw a brick at a wall or break a window and who cares. It’s just fun. Wanna try it? Take this rock and throw it at anything.”
You take the rock and half-heartedly throw it at a cinema poster on the wall.
“See. Who cares, right? Wasn’t that fun?” Jessen then walks over and kicks a small filing cabinet over.
“Take that, you stupid filing cabinet!” Jessen says laughing. “I’ve been trying to learn to look at the bright parts of life. But sometimes it feels good to kick over a filing cabinet.”
You guys spend an hour or so there talking about life. You learn that Jessen is a receptionist at a dentist’s office, but doesn’t really like the job, but also doesn’t know what else they’d do. Money is not an issue because they live at home and their parents cover a lot. So for now, Jessen is just killing time in life.

You’ve found yourself at a nice park on the outskirts of town. Sitting on a bench facing a large green area, Brux hands you some fabric and a needle and begins teaching you how to knit.
“It’s a little tricky at first, but you’ll get the hang of it,” Brux assures.
“So you knit here a lot?”
“When I can. It’s super peaceful and I like the fresh air.”
“Don’t take this the wrong way, but I’m surprised you’re into knitting. You don’t seem like one of those fashion-obsessed types.”
Brux smirks lightly. “You calling me a slob?”
“No, no, I-“
“Relax, I know you didn’t mean anything by it. Some things are more about the process than the result.”
“I guess you have a ‘point’ there!” you say, making a mock stabbing gesture toward Brux with your needle. But in a flash, Brux drops everything, grabs your needle hand, bending it behind your back, and shoves your torso toward your knees. After a second, they release their grip and apologize profusely.
“I’m so sorry!! It was a total reflex, I didn’t mean to do that! Please forgive me,” Brux says with a heavy blush as they help you back upright.
“Okay sure…but you need to tell me what’s up. Last time we met, you Houdini’d my wallet out of my pocket without me ever feeling a thing. Today you Bruce Lee’d me into a pretzel in the space of one second. I get that it was a reflex, but not a lot of people have that reflex. What’s the deal here???”
“It’s actually just from work.”
“I’m a stunt double. I work on films and stuff. My specialty is martial arts, so I stand in for a lot of the female macho types.”
“What?? Why am I just hearing this?”
“I don’t like to tell people because then they get all weird and start asking about celebrities and whatever. But I’m not a big red carpet type. It’s just a job for me. My parents put me in martial arts from an early age and I got scouted at a tournament and so I started taking film gigs because…money. But it’s not my identity. Sitting here on a bench with my yarns and good company is more my speed.”

And now for something complete different. After the blast you guys had at Disneyworld, this was a total contrast.
“Alright, we’re here!” Blue says as they park their SUV in a space beside a mountain. “This is the best hike in town!”
Blue then takes a swig of their energy drink and belches loudly as you guys open your car doors to get out. That burp sounded way louder than it needed to.
“Wow, you’re a rugged one, aren’t you?” you comment.
“I guess! I do a lot of camping and hiking and all that.”
Finally! That was the perfect segue to bring up that burning issue that’s been in the back of your mind. Sure, Blue was a sculpture-ready work of art, but that first date…
“Oh, so you do a lot of outdoor stuff? I guess that skill came in handy for that, uh, accident at the picnic the other day. I’m so glad you weren’t sick or anything. I was worried.”
“Accident? I didn’t have an accident. I took a dump. Just like everyone does- and a fat one at that!” they said with a comically exaggerated wink and a click of the tongue.
“But right behind a tree?” you say, trying to force a laugh so things don’t get too awkward.
“Life’s too short to hold onto energy. You see the peak on that mountain? That’s the challenge. You see this apple and granola bar? This is energy. Energy in, energy out, keep moving. Anyway, I grew up in a house with a dad and three brothers. We were always outdoors. But I’m kinda the high-fiber, water guzzling health nut in the family. My dad always jokes that my dog should carry a plastic baggie for me when we go out! But anyway, I’m human. I poop. Who cares. Now let’s get going- I’m about to take you on the best hike of your life and I can’t wait to see the smile on your face!”
Blue lets out a roar as they grab your hand and drag you toward the trailhead.
One thing about Blue you noticed is that they are always overflowing with energy. But they were a great hiking guide and knew all about the types of animals and plants you encountered. Blue shared lots of survivalist info and you could tell they were a master of the outdoors. You knew from previous conversations that they were a department store model and cashier at Abercrombie & Fitch, but you learned today that they’re in training to become a wilderness survival guide specializing in beginners who, as Blue described, “have never experienced the pure awesomeness of nature”.

You didn’t even need a car. Naeve had you meet them in a rougher part of town and you set out down the street on foot. Soon, you understand why Naeve told you to dress down a bit. Naeve as usual is wearing thrifted indie clothing, so no change was necessary for them.
“I want you to meet some of my buds around here.” they say as they led you to a tent up the way.
“This is Jim. He’s the funniest guy you’ll ever meet.”
Jim is a homeless guy with a friendly smile. He’s been homeless since the Pandemic and Naeve occasionally brings him food when possible. Over the next couple hours, you accompany Naeve, meeting the homeless of all walks of life. You learn that Naeve was homeless for a few months, but they didn’t even seem to mind it that much. Now they live in a rent-controlled apartment near the homeless encampment but still stays in touch with the others and does everything possible to encourage local restaurants and grocery stores to donate food that’s about to go to waste. Naeve also participates in local activism to help reduce homelessness in the city and pass socially focused legislation.
“See, that’s what I call a perfect exchange,” Naeve said. “We had a great time, met some cool cats, and it didn’t cost us a dime. People today waste too much money. The world is already free entertainment!”
One thing you notice about Naeve is that they don’t need good looks to feel confident. They may be on the lower end of average, but they have a knack for relating to anyone and matching their energy. They kept you included in all the conversations and by the end, you felt really knowledgeable about a portion of society you didn’t know anything about.
Who do you want to eliminate?
If you hit the bell, I'll let you know tomorrow when Date 4 happens with the remaining 3 people ;-)
