I made my partner a nice steak dinner, post work, he didn’t discuss his work, was weirdly quiet. He got up in the middle of dinner to type something on his phone, he had a smirk on his face, and reminded me of a little boy who was excited about opening a present. For the first time in a while, he has started to pay attention to his looks,he shaves more often,and just got an unexpected hair cut—-for the longest while his style was grudge tech guy who wears sandals,old band shirts and jeans. Lately, he has been wearing khakis, and collared shirts (he has not switch jobs or or job roles since this change). He has also tried exercising more and has been using my exercise bike. This is the first time in a year that I have seen him use it.
I made him a nice dinner because I feel like it might be the last as I am thinking about leaving and maybe maybe there would be a moment where I remembered that I loved humans/or I could convince myself he is not so bad. Also for nostalgia.
I went to the post office and shipped some valuables home, slowly packing my belongings, and seriously getting ready to move out of this state—-this state is not my home home (I moved out of state with him for his work). I have friends, family, and job opportunities in my home state.
While he is enjoying his life, having fun, doing whatever he wants and not caring about my emotional, physical health, and essentially not giving a shit about me—-I have been putting so much of my energy into this and this has taken over my mental space. I have been stressed. I am not having fun. This has been incredibly hurtful. He only cares about himself

Hero Costume: White and blue tie-dye pants with black and silver musical notes and lines decorating the edges, knee-high blue boots, a silver belt with a dark blue sarong wrapped around her waist that acts as an insulating material that can be used as either a shield by sending a small sound wave through it or be used as a capture weapon. Blue corset, black and blue crop-top shirt with the image of a music note on the front, long-sleeved blue and silver jacket, her necklace, a domino mask, and an interesting weapon that consists of two iron bars connected by a chain.
Background: Hailing from Hokkaido, Kanako grew up on a small farm with her father, mother, grandmother, older sister, brother-in-law, and two younger siblings. Her life was fairly simple but she didn't mind it since it was all she knew, then one day she traveled to a nearby farmer's market with her parents, and she discovered a traveling musician. Having never really been around music other than the simple guitar songs her father would play, hearing a new type of music had a very big impact on her. But it wasn't just the music. It was also the impact it had on people. The joy and happiness she could see on their faces made her want to be a part of it.
Using what little money she had from helping out her family, Kanako researched all kinds of pop music, idols, hip-hop, and everything in between. She even started learning how to dance to hip-hop music to keep herself in shape. Deciding to try her luck with a crowd, Kanako did a small performance for the people at the farmer's market and she became a hit. But her joy was soon cut short when a villain attacked and wrecked the market. Seeing everyone around her scared, Kanako released a massive sonic cry that incapacitated the villain.
After seeing that her music can not only bring smiles to people's faces but also keep them safe, she left her family's farm and heads to Musutafu to become a hero.

I’m in college to become a teacher and eventually principal and superintendent. i have a few tattoos on my forearm, but i really want to get my hand/hands done. im very clean cut and look presentable. does anyone know if teachers in southern California can have this. i figured if i always dress nice and have preferably long sleeve shirts on while teaching then maybe it can be allowed. what do you guys think?

Your first argument about why you think breeding is fine is because “look at shredder he’s perfect”. That’s not the point of why breeding is bad. Of course shredder is great, he’s a dog dogs are great. But can I remind you shredder experienced kidney failure at age 5. Breeding dogs exaggerates their breed specific issues. Kidney issues are extremely common among yorkies and getting a pure bred dog pretty much guarantees you will lose the dog due to their breed specific issues.
Second of all you say you don’t see the issue with breeding animals period. Google it. It is extremely obvious why breeding animals is unethical even when it’s labelled as ethical breeding. There is no such thing as ethical breeding because regardless, that industry supports the euthanization of shelter animals and senior animals dying alone after spending their whole life unloved.

When the argument is because you want a specific breed, there is really no reason you need a specific breed of dog. You don’t get to chose the qualities your child is going to have, you love them regardless.
Ethan, your dogs are not well behaved. You are having a third child, already have a baby sitter all the time for your 2 kids even while you’re home, you have 2 dogs which you take to work and have your staff watch over (cleaning up shredders vomit and taking them outside). That is incorrect, not only are shelter dogs not free but they are extremely hard work. In pretty much all cases you much help the dog unlearn tendencies they built during abuse. These dogs life will never be the same as a dog that never endured abuse and as their owner you are signing up for the task of nurturing an animal that humans have failed. That is not the easy way out of getting a pet, getting a bred dog quite literally is.
You cannot handle a pig and you know you can’t. But you know you can hire someone or have Lena take care of the pig until you realize it’s not in the best interest for anyone to keep the animal and then you donate it. You know that getting a pig will be a fun animal to be around at the good times and to just be able to say you own in general.

There are plenty of funny scenes and great character moments sprinkled throughout this show. At the same time though, there are also many scenes and episodes where the characters acts super unlikable towards each other even though it was established early on that they're not irredeemable monsters. And this isn't just a case of flanderization, although it is part of it. Even in the earlier seasons, there are moments that I look back on not so fondly. Gina's harassment of Terry, the Boyle costume cold opens and the pink shirt cold open where they're mean to him for absolutely no reason, all the episodes where Amy first becomes a sergeant, the list goes on. Teasing is one thing. It's just some funny banter. Those incidents involving Boyle were just straight up cruel. B99 reminds me a lot of Robot Chicken actually. RC has a lot of funny scenes, but they're often forgotten due to the show's long list of sex scenes, violent bits, and unfunny bathroom jokes. Believe me, it'd be great if this show was a comedy classic like 30 Rock and Parks and Recreation, but it just isn't (not for me at least.)

So since my son was born, my MIL has given us some parenting advice. Not all bad, like to make sure to do lots of skin to skin. But some stuff has been a little crazy. Like give the baby chamomile tea for gas, or put a wet piece of wadded up paper on babies forehead for hiccups. She tries to insist we bundle the baby up. We were at her house a few months ago and she kept saying my son was crying because he was cold. It was 75 degrees in her house and he was red and sweaty. He was wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants and a hat because it was cold outside but I stripped him down to his diaper because she had the heat up so high. We went out to eat a few nights ago and she was flipping out because he wasn't wearing a hat. It was 50 degrees and we had a literal 30 second walk from the car to the restaurant. She kind of chased me around with his blanket even after I told her he was fine. I didn't give in. It's just annoying! Her only other grandchildren are from her own daughter who was 16 when she had her first. She did a bunch if stuff that those parents didn't like with her grandchildren but the parents are too young and respectful to say anything i guess. Im in my 30s. I keep hearing how it's my turn to hear it from her. Am I crazy for not appreciating the advice? I ask for her advice when I need it but I hate how she keeps on insisting on certain things. I also let my baby eat and get pretty dirty and just clean him up all at the end. She keeps trying to wipe him after each bite which he hates. She's an older hispanic lady. Can anyone tell me how to put my foot down without offending her? Is there even a way to go about it respectfully or will she just be offended either way?

My 2.5 yr old daughter has recently started getting scared of things that move in a swaying motion, and I am out of ideas on how to help her get past it, so I'm welcome to all advice!
It started randomly one day when I pulled the vertical blinds closed, and the individual blinds started swaying. She's seen me open and close the same blinds a million times before, but that one day, she suddenly started pointing and saying "no move! no no no no move!" and getting so worked up that she was full on crying and screaming, even after the blinds stopped moving. Since then, it's expanded to other things, like if hangers in the closet swing after grabbing a shirt, someone's purse is swinging while hung on the back of a stroller, and tree branches swaying in the wind - even seeing kids on the swings at the playground upset her so much that she wanted to leave. New this week is getting really upset that the water in the bathtub moves, like from just dropping toys in or her own splashing.
The things I've tried so far are:

• explaining that even though it might look scary, everything is fine and if mama pushes it, then it'll move because it was me doing it. That didn't work.
• having her push and move other things that she hasn't become suddenly scared of, to help show how things can just swing sometimes. Didn't translate.
• pretending to catch ghosts/scaries that cause things to move. Worked for 1 day.
• having our dog do his jump command to help "protect" her. Probably has been the most successful so far, but the effect is waning after working well for almost 2 weeks.
• showing her at the park how the wind can move the grass and our dog's fur. Mixed effects.

The fear of normal water motion is new this week, and I'm just at a loss...I have no new ideas. Do I just push through and let her cry through every bath? Do I try switching to showers? Do I give her a crash course in physics? Do I let her watch Moana and let Pixar fix this for us? (only semi kidding about that one)
Is this a normal phase that all toddlers go through? And how did you get through it??

The dream began with me starting a game with a friend that was basically minecraft but more advanced. Couch co-op split screen shifted into me being inside the game. I remember three scenes.
1st. Teaching him about climbing, you could climb 1, 2, and 3 blocks high and couldn't jump. Only leap forward across a maximum of 4 blocks.
2nd. Going over the avatar design. Vaguely human shape but low polygon count. Simple pants and shirt with a long coat. He glitched the camera to inside the coat and said "I have no ass!" Because there were no polygons under the coat.
3rd. He jumped and missed the landing dropping to his death. He said "get my stuff" and I told him you leave behind a coffin when you die and he said "rob my grave like the British."
I woke up laughing, and was sad after because the friend I was playing with passed away years ago.
