Hi Im looking for a 14" laptop that im gonna use for digital sculpting with zbrush and maybe abit of rendering work. My usecases is mainly for digital sculpting 3d printable miniatures on zbrush for 3d printing so the models might be heavy on the poly count but zbrush is mainly a cpu bound application so the gpu wont be a problem and the rendering work I'll be doing is mainly image rendering for making renders of the 3d models using blender. I was looking at getting this version of the g14 since its not that expensive here in my country and it will be used as a supplementary device for when Im on the go or out of town as I will be doing most of my work on my desktop. I did some research on this version of the g14 and found that there are issues with the amd cpu specifically a driver issue that Microsoft and AMD have apparently given up on. these 5000 series cpus based on my research on the laptop would black screen or just power off and apparently its because of a driver issue that AMD has abandoned I dont know to what extent but this doesnt inspire alot of confidence. I cant get the newer models because they are really expensive so I would like to ask if this version of the g14 is more trouble than its worth given the price point.

I was checking the prices of my items and noticed that some skins were raising in value. Not all skins but all agents gained at least one euro or more. I first thought "it could be because CS2 dropped" but now that the prices seem to have already peaked and falling back down, I'm really curious to know what cause the rise. Was it a social media content creator again? Feel free to leave a reply with what you think of this.

I'm look for a new gravel wheelset an I pretty like the DT Swiss GR1600. However, the retail price is a bit expensive for me and it's quite hard to find it second hand (at least here in Germany). Are there any other gravel wheelsets using DT Swiss hubs but form other manufacturers? Thats basically my main requirement because I want to swap out the wheelset regularly with my other DT Swiss wheelset and I hope that having the same hubs on both doesn't require adjusting the rear derailleur every time.
any suggestions?

To give you an idea of where I’m am at, I’m 46yo this year and never hit a proper trail. Given my age and experience, I’ve been looking at the Trek Marlin 7 ($1000 AUD) and going as far as the Roscoe 7 ($1850 AUD on sale ATM), new, thinking they’re a decent entry point in terms of price and performance for the kinds of trails myself and my kid are likely able to handle.
I’ve had a look at comparable Giants and I’m not impressed with them as much as I am with the Treks, TBH.
So, I’m looking for recommendations of other similar bikes, brands etc please?
I’m also open to buying used, if know what to look out for. But I’m still a complete MTB noob. 🤓

Alright, so I got this idea from a response by u/Nightelfbane to this post. I realized that yeah, a Q from Star Trek could defeat the federation thoroughly and instantly if they wanted to. But then I though, is that what they would actually do? And then the more I thought about it, the more interesting this idea seemed to me.
So without further ado, here is the first chapter of this train wreck of a fanfic: Q vs. the NOP federation
Memory transcript subject: Tal, Venlil Space Corps
Date [standardized human time]: December 6, 2136
I had been separated from my exchange partner. I hoped he had managed to escape with the rest of the evacuation, but either way, I had been left behind on Sillis. I was alone, and on the run.
That was when I came across the extermination officer. He seemed to be lying on the ground unconscious, and I could tell the venlil was an extermination officer from his uniform. I also took note of his rainbow socks which reminded me that some of Venlil Prime’s extermination offices were becoming accepting of humans. Still, the question remained. What was this officer doing here?
Suddenly, his eyes opened. The extermination officer quickly shot to his feet and looked straight at me.
“Holy shit! Look at you!” he shouted.
The venlil appeared to study his own arms and paws.
“Look at us! We’re so fluffy!” he said before reaching out and ruffling the fur on the top of my head.
The man was practically jumping with joy, and I had no idea how to respond.
“I didn’t expect to find anything, maybe some hydrogen gas if I was lucky, but this!” he said.
The extermination officer looked up and around for a few moments.
“And I don’t think they’re going to find us here,” he said.
The officer returned his gaze to me, baring his teeth. For a moment, I was startled. Was he trying to imitate the way humans smile?
Whatever he was doing, his “smile” faded when he saw my apprehension. The officer looked around, seeming to become aware for the first time of the devastation that surrounded us.
“Could you, by any chance, tell me what I’m wearing right now?” he asked.
The question left me even more confused than I was a moment ago. Nonetheless, I replied.
“You’re wearing the uniform of a chief extermination officer. Who are you?”
The man didn’t answer my question. Instead, he burst into an almost manic laughter.
Did this extermination officer have predator disease?
As he laughed, an antimatter warhead detonated off in the distance.
“Extermination officer!? Wow, Okay! Holy fuck! So you guys aren’t quite as cuddly as you seem. Alright, I get it.”
Another bomb detonated, this one much closer than the last.
I still had no idea what the man was talking about, but he was starting to make me nervous. He seemed to go back to studying his paws, and I was about to ask again who he was, when suddenly, he lifted his right paw up next to his head. In a motion that looked rather painful, the extermination officer pressed his claws together and flicked them past each other producing a piercing

We finally got the infotainment replaced in our 2019 Outback this week after waiting 6+ months for the part- the screen was delaminating and acting like it was being pressed constantly. Essentially couldn't use it at all during that time frame, it was extremely annoying. Luckily we had the extended electronics warranty because otherwise it was going to be 3-4k to fix.
I guess my question is: has anyone gotten the replacement and had it delaminate again? I'm concerned it's going to happen again in a year or 2 and we will either have to pay a ton to get it fixed or the fact that it's messed up will severely impact our ability to sell it or trade it in for a decent price.
