Does the Canon C500 mk ii still only have the option to create proxies in-camera (saved to the SD slot) when shooting in 6k raw? But no option to make proxies while shooting in 4K XFAVC?
Context is I’m on a small doc production and I usually handle media management on our shoots. The in-camera proxy option on the C300 mk ii has been helpful for sharing the day’s footage for review quickly while the full files are being backed up, etc (not for use by the editors). I’d like to do the same now that we’ve begun using the C500 mk ii, but as far as I can tell, the C500 originally only allowed for in-camera proxies when shooting in 6k raw, whereas we would mostly be shooting 4K. Wondering if that’s still the case, or if the firmware has been updated to allow for proxies on 4K.

I want to set a friend up with a staging area so he stops making changes in his production site. He's a no-code guy and this may present challenges with deployments when managing multiple environments.
WPEngine is great for this, multiple environments, no code deployments, etc, but it's $30/mo and that's more than he wants to spend for his business' website getting maybe 5 visitors/day.
Any suggestions? Requirements are ability to set up multiple environments with no-code/command line deployments from one environment to another, and intended to handle WP or very WP-friendly.
I know hosting discussions aren't allowed here, so I'm trying to limit the scope to WP-only within this context.

Hi everyone. I really need your help. Ever since I was 17 (I am now 22), I have noticed that people complain of a fecal/poop odor sometimes when I am around. Less frequently, people have complained of a fishy odor when I am around. I think I have managed to not smell like fish by cutting out seafood. However, I cannot seem to figure out what is causing my fecal body odor and it is making me so depressed. I have a few friends but I always do my best to avoid people and isolate myself because of the fear of smelling bad. I do not know if I have TMAU (but I suspect I do); does anyone know where/how I can get tested for the gene? Anyways, I have tried everything. I have tried cutting out red meat, dairy, eggs, and beans/legumes. I was eating turkey and chicken every now and then. Still, I could not get rid of the smell. So then I tried cutting out all meat products, seafood, eggs, dairy, and beans/legumes. Still, people would complain about a poop/fart/skunk smell. I have tried taking Vitamin B2, Cholrophyll tablets, and still it won't work. I also tried Lume body scrub and yet people still complained. I cannot tell where exactly the smell is coming from, but I feel like it can fill up a room and people who are not close to me can smell it too. For context, I also have IBS and some food allergies so I had a feeling that those could also be affecting my body odor. If anyone is struggling with the same thing please comment solutions that have worked for you! I want my life back!!!

It feels like people treat me like one. Or worse than one. Every single time I've ever stood up for myself in public it's been an awful experience. How do other people get away with being downright rude and aggressive while I get shouted down for politely requesting help?
Tldr I politely brought a poor quality pair of shoes to management attention. I was brushed off and offered no help and then the shoes were put right back despite being filthy. It reminded me of another incident where someone wanted to fight me for asking for help in a cell store. Why does this keep happening?
Today I was buying shoes. I work on my feet all day and mine literally had holes in them so no more putting it off. I found a pair of shoes so comfy and supportive, except they were filthy and obviously had been worn. I could not find a comparable pair on my own. Note that I'd have been glad to pay full price for such a perfect fit and arch, I just couldn't see spending $100 on dirty, worn shoes.
There was a line at checkout so I politely requested a manager so as to not hold up people already ready to purchase. I prefaced my request with "I understand if you can't" and asked if anything else could be done about the price due to the condition of the shoes.
She did not even look before telling me a flat, short "no." Okay, I'd expected that. No problem. Asked if they could help me double check that I'd not missed a comparable pair as well as whether I might be able to order a pair to be shipped to me if the store was out. She ignored my request for in store help with an eye roll and only said "sure" again in an irritated tone about buying online. I was unsure about the process so asked if an associate could help me order at the register (like some stores do) or if I'd need to do it myself at home. She sighed and said "no we don't do that here".
So I told her thanks and handed her the dirty shoes and proceeded to queue for the other pair I was still going to buy. And I watched from the front of the store as she finally looked at the shoes and proceeded to put them back on the shelf! We are talking a lot of dirt and a few scuffs, including dirt worn into the fabric on the top/toe parts of the shoe.
I didn't demand anything or ask anything too unreasonable, nor did I have a tone or raise my voice. I don't know what I did for the manager to be short with me, sighing and rolling her eyes. We're talking an adult manager, maybe in her 40s. Then to put them back on the shelf. Who's going to buy something so dirty for $100? Not like it's a big fashion brand that someone might buy and fix up.
This was pretty mild but this situation isn't even the problem. The issue is that I was anxious to ask for help to begin with. I pushed past that anxiety just to be treated like an annoyance. And it dredged up memories of the worst public encounter I've had.
I was treated similarly at a cell phone store, brushed off after being made to wait 1hr, told to go two another store, waited again, told to go to another store... third location and I'd waited in total about 5hrs to be helped between waiting rooms and driving time. I think I'd have a right to be frustrated. But I just sat and waited because the third store was so busy and they'd gotten a phone call to expect me/confirmed they actually had exactly what I needed... so I decided I could wait.
As the 6th total hour approached, I did jump to the front of the line while the associate was waiting on the system to process something just to make sure they knew I was there since nobody had so much as greeted me or asked if I needed something. Just a very quick "hey I've been trying to get help all day, can someone come talk to me when they can?" and I was going to go sit back down.
And some crazy bitch decided she was going to make a problem out of this. She started yelling and cussing me out, calling me rude and entitled and a bratty kid (I was 24 and she was maybe 35?) And saying somebody should kick my ass to teach me manners. I tried to explain that I'd been waiting longer than anyone else and she escalated to yelling that I was making a scene and she personally should kick my ass. An employee even tried to interject to tell the lady she was the one causing a scene.
But she was screaming right in my face by then. So I'm a baby and was already crying because wtf did I do? I decided to go home because she wasn't stopping and she followed me to my car screaming. I was able to get safely in my car and leave, but proceeded to almost wreck due to a panic attack behind the wheel. I was able to pull into a paint shop parking lot and sat there crying for idk how long. And employee cane out to check on me, I was there for so long.
So uh. I guess I have trauma and simply am not allowed to ask questions or stand up for myself even after being beyond patient. I'm not an aggressive person. I think I'm pretty soft spoken and always try to be understanding. But these two stories aren't the only ones. I just don't get it. And I'm way more upset over the shoes than I should be, but just being reminded has me feeling sick. I guess triggers don't make sense. I guess it was like a confrontation at a store and that was why? Idk.
