I remember when you could crouch and not be heard at all. Since the end of the last chapter I noticed when you crouch people can hear your footsteps anyway. I was killedat the tower at the rim of Lazy Lagoon cause the guy knew where I was sneaking. That was my first experience and has been like that since.

Then, the bushes, they had the bug where they disappeared st a certain distance and the leaf piles did the same. They fixed the regular bushes but the leaf piles still do it, I reported that Bug still with the leaf piles but Afaik hasn't been fixed. But now it seems like they thinned the big bushes, and people can still see you in one more than they could previously. Also someone stated PC users able to adjust graphic settings that let people essentially through them. (I want an option to turn off PC crossplay on the consoles, there are tons of reasons why pc players have an advantage)

And finally the stupidest imo, the scope glare on snipers. I prided myself on being pretty accurate and fast with snipes, but that glare gives no time to aim on analog sticks. I find myself over aiming on the sticks all the time, I thought it was settings and I thought it could be the Xbox controller or xbox settings, but its just played like shit more this season. Maybe unreal 5 idk, just doesn't seem to aim like it used to. But the sniper glare kills sniping if your facing them. And everyone always has a sniper at the end of the match and of course the pc snipers got dead on aim and my analogs are shit.

I love playing stealthy but it seems they are making it easier for the sweats that can aim and fight well. I used stealth because of my handicaps with the aiming and everyone in my lobbies are way better, which is another topic. They are mixing skill based players and nobody can convince me otherwise. Dudes hitting 20 kills and 300 crowns don't belong in my matches

I’m turning 30(m) this year and for over 10 years I’ve been an engineer but I’ve never really had a passion for it.
I started my career when I joined the army, before that I didn’t really have anything going for me career wise, I just worked in a warehouse stacking and stocking goods. I always wanted to join the army as a kid, and when I lost my electrical installation apprenticeship (my dads idea I never had interest in this), I ended up in this dead end job and thought that it’s given me the prefect reason to join (had asthma as a child so need to be 5 years clear, plus my parents weren’t fond on the idea).
I went into the recruitment centre and signed up, didn’t tell my parents because even though I was 19 they always had quite an influence on my life and which career path they wanted me to take. I wanted to join as a paratrooper but when I told parents I was joining, my dad spent hours and hours trawling through every job I was offered in the army (you do a BARB test which, working off your answers, offers you suitable jobs.) I was offered every job the army had, but only really wanted to be a paratrooper. However since my dad had spent hours going through each job to find me ones he’d be happy with me doing, I couldn’t really say no to what he picked for me as at least he’d have more peace of mind with me joining then.
He’d picked for me 3 engineering jobs he’d want me to do in the army. I didn’t really want to any of them as they just weren’t me or what I was interested in, still I joined up as an electronics technician just to keep him and my mum happy. During my time in the army they basically push you through all the job specific training so you can’t fail (I passed all my courses first time with the highest scores but I never really retained information). I sorted of got the hang of how to fix something’s but never really understood my job or the technical side behind it. There were blokes in the army who were really clued up when it came to engineering, I was not one of these blokes. My skills were being a soldier, I enjoyed the shooting (practicing training), training and exercises in there but didn’t enjoy my job. Changing career paths in the army is hard as well, because they put so much money into you that they don’t want to see it wasted, so they make it frustrating and difficult to change.
Fast forward 5 years and I felt I’d had enough of my engineering role in the army and left. The leaving part was daunting as I didn’t really know my engineering skills and worried I wouldn’t get a job (a lot of switched on engineering people had left and not found jobs). I found a job and immediately felt that I was in deep water, but I was able to cover this up by just working hard and constantly trying to fix things even if I didn’t know the technical side behind it. After about a year of working at the company, I realised I didn’t to build my knowledge of electrical engineering so I felt like I knew what I was doing. I went back to college and paid £6000 to do my HNC off my own back as the company wouldn’t pay it. I had to make my hours up by working weekends but it didn’t bother me because I was hoping I’d be increasing my knowledge. Unfortunately covid hit and we were reduced to doing lectures online, half the time the lecturers didn’t turn up and so they would just send us the work, which we’d do and return to them and they would spruce it up and hey presto you’ve got a distinction HNC.
So even now I have no idea what I’m doing in my Engineering job and have zero technical knowledge (I’m just a doer when it comes to jobs). I have just changed jobs for more money due to unforeseen circumstances (would have stayed at my last place), but everyone here is so clued up in their roles that when they ask me questions about engineering and electrics I have no idea what they’re on about, and I’ve realised I’ve fraudulently blagged my way through 10 years of engineering that I’ve hated. Now I’m in a career that I hate and have no idea what I’m doing but I’m paid really well and can’t afford to leave.
It’s only a matter of time before I’m found out, I hate the job anyway but have no idea what to do with my life. I don’t know where to go or how to go about changing career, but I don’t even know what I want to do. I don’t hate working I just hate my career and have no idea what I’m doing in it, the idea of having to work in this job for another 35 years is frightening. what should I do?

I’ve been loving getting back into BF1 (for the first time since playing it on Xbox for a month back in 2016), especially seeing as it’s my first time properly PC FPS gaming.
I’m not a particularly angry person, but I have been getting more frustrated playing BF1 than any other game I’ve ever played (and I’ve been a lifelong gamer, but it has been about 7 years since I played FPS’s). I’d be grateful for some insight.
My KD when I played on console was around 2.0. Now, after my last 50 or so matches on PC, it’s 0.5. I’m always seriously playing the objective—my win rate is 80%—and by the end of the match I’m usually in the top 10 of my team’s score, but I don’t like that I lose gunfights so often. I’m always situationally aware, constantly spotting and checking my map, but I rarely catch enemies off-guard as often as I’m caught off-guard; it seems like they always know exactly where I am.
It also really feels like I die super quickly, almost instantly every time, whereas I often feel like my enemies are bullet sponges. But more often my main frustration is that I get laser-killed from someone who seemingly had no line of sight on me, because I sure as hell couldn’t see them.
I recognize that I might be suffering a little bit of the ol’ death-by-a-thousand-cuts, in the sense that:

1. I’m gaming on a Mac (fuck me, right?), but luckily performance mostly isn’t an issue—it’s a new MacBook Pro and I’m playing on GeForce Now Ultimate with a fast wired connection. So I’m playing in 2K with High graphics, and the gameplay itself is very smooth. But I understand it’s not the same as playing locally on a high-end gaming PC.
   
2. I’m playing on a 4K 27” Dell U2723QE with a 75hz and 5ms refresh, which I know isn’t the best, but I wouldn’t imagine it’s hurting me that much.
   
3. I’m using a Logitech MX Master mouse, which I’m just now reading is pretty shit for FPS gaming, so this is what might be hurting me the most.
   
4. I understand that, especially now, the people playing BF1 have probably been playing for many years, so the combination of their skill, higher level unlocks, and squad coordination makes it a very competitive game.
   

Do any of these 4 points jump out to you as a disadvantage that I could hopefully correct?

This contains a spoiler from the trailer of season 3 that aired a few weeks before episode 1. It hasn't happened yet on the show. It also has a reference to something from episode 6 that hasn't been confirmed but we know will happen, so the rest of this is having a spoiler tag.
So in the season 3 trailer, you'll see a scene in the changing room with Sam wearing the captain's armband.
This means Isaac is not the captain of Richmond at some point during the season. Why?
A few things I'm thinking:

1. Injury or rest: would be common to happen at some point during the season, even if for the odd game. However, I don't think either scenario are plotworthy enough to happen.
2. Suspension: he's a physical player, so could get a red card during a match, resulting in a (usually) 3 match ban. Sometimes just 1 match, sometimes more than 3 matches, depending on what he actually did on the pitch. Could this even happen in the next episode when Richmond play West Ham?
3. When Richard is talking about the sexiness of Zava, Isaac comments, "you sound a bit gay, bruv". Could Colin coming out lead to some homophobic unrest that leads to Isaac getting dropped? Hope it's not that, and can't really see it to be honest, but perhaps his comment was foreshadowing something.
4. Total reversal to that, I can see Isaac coming around and sticking up for Colin for being gay. Perhaps a kung-fu kick to an abusive fan the next time Richmond play Crystal Palace. Two wrongs don't make a right of course, and something like this would lead to a lengthy suspension. 9 months for Eric Cantona in 1995 (though the Crystal Palace fan who got kicked was not giving homophobic abuse). As I type this, I also think this would be a perfect ending to Zara's season. People comparing him to Zlatan, and rightly so. But the one other footballer with the same swagger and confidence that I can think of is Eric Cantona. After Zava's "gender is just a construct" line, and we've seen him genuinely just being a generous, kind, good guy (though arrogant), I can totally see him sticking up for Colin, but sacrificing himself for the greater good (kind of Jesus-like. maybe this deserves its own theory thread?)
5. Episode 6 is believed to be set in Amsterdam. We know that they've been filming there. I have no idea why they're going there, or whether it's the whole team that goes. A Isaac scandal could definitely come out of this episode, probably getting involved with drugs or hookers, leading to him being stripped of his captaincy.

Just a load of ideas. What do you think? You got any more? Agree or disagree with any of them? I'd really hope that point 3 doesn't happen and it seems out of character for him. "You sound a bit gay, bruv" was a weird, out of character line though, I thought.

I’m always seriously playing the objective—my win rate is 80%—and by the end of the match I’m usually in the top 10 of my team’s score, but I don’t like that I lose gunfights so often. I’m always situationally aware, constantly spotting and checking my map, but I rarely catch enemies off-guard as often as I’m caught off-guard; it seems like they always know exactly where I am.
It also really feels like I die super quickly, almost instantly every time, whereas I often feel like my enemies are bullet sponges. But more often my main frustration is that I get laser-killed from someone who seemingly had no line of sight on me, because I sure as hell couldn’t see them.
I recognize that I might be suffering a little bit of the ol’ death-by-a-thousand-cuts, in the sense that:
