My dad is dying in the worst way possible. He has head and neck cancer. His neck is not existent, his neck and chin are a giant open wound. He had bone in his dressing the other day. I am both his POA and Executor. My main priority is keeping his wishes intact but his case is challenging.
I finally got Family Medical Leave. My manager agreed to let me take it intermittently so for now, i take days off as needed. I was sort of confused she seemed to know nothing about the leave as she is the sole HR rep in this company. But she has been supportive.
But coworkers are always so fucking competitive and rude. They obviously aren't telling my coworkers I'm on leave which is what I asked, but any day I take it off, even though it's all good between the person i report to, employees give me the silent treatment and are weird with me.
People at work keep asking if he's better after I get back, like they want some instant resolve. I'm so sick of this expectation that since I'm away and then come back, I must have "fixed him."
Also, my Family Medical Leave since I'm in Ontario is a little more open- I don't have the rigidity the US has. But anytime my manager knows I'll be gone, she always assumes I am going to be with him. There are many things I have to do to prepare for his death. I need to go to Banks, visit funeral homes and accountants, and believe it or not since I go up on weekends, I actually need to perform some mild self.care once in a while like sleep or eat.
It is bananas that while my dad is dying, I'm worried about a job that pays 18 bucks an hour. I do not give a fuck about their buisness at this current time. I'm taking calls at work, being told extremely upsetting and private info, and instead of having these hard conversations with loved ones, I'm sitting on the floor in a backroom with my asshole coworkers listening and forklifts going by. I'm so fucking fed up with not being given the fucking space to be human.
I just wanna work from home fuck my life.

How do you use it to play fingerstyle? I don't even know how to use or what those beat options in the metronome app mean. Can somebody eli5 ?
Also is it important to use one? So far, what I've done is if I'm covering a song, I'll try to listen to it a lot of times until the rhythm gets stuck in my mind, and then i try to implement the same rhythm with my playing.

I live in an apartment with my boyfriend and one roommate. All of us work full-time, with the roommate working longer shifts and my partner doordashing for extra income, usually a couple times a week. I also take online clssses. He also makes more, so he often pays a slightly larger chunk of the bills. He also takes me to work every day and usually gives me a ride home, as he is currently the only one who drives. I do a lot of the household work.
Cooking is done equally, but I often need to remind partner with help with dishes, and he doesn’t always remember to clean up messes around the living room. We usually all cook our own food, if someone is making a big meal we usually all share it. We also all typically do our own laundry. Roommate sometimes helps with things like cleaning and also does a fair amount of cooking. I do have two cats, I mostly care for them as they are my own.
My partner also has ADHD as well as myself. I have expressed being bothered about doing a lot of the chores towards him, and he has said as long as I ask him for help he will assist. We have been trying this for about a month, and we haven’t really had any fights over chores which is a positive sign. I have noticed much more help with things around the house when I ask him, but he still forgets occasionally or I feel like I need to remind him multiple times in the day. However, asking him is beginning to feel like a mental load. He has said he hasn’t found another system that works for him, he’s tried reminder apps and the like. He is working on finding a psychiatrist to try to find a med that works for him.

I have reported this to support through the apps many times, and posted about it here a few months ago.
Does anyone else experience this issue?
First, I have sticky notifications enabled (Advanced Settings -> "Reminder Stick on Status Bar"). Multiple times per day, I snooze or complete my tasks and find that I'm left with a blank TickTick notification that I cannot remove or click on. I have to go to App Info -> Force Stop, then re-launch the app.

Hello!
I have two databases. One with a list of projects and the other with a list of tasks. In the project database, I have a property that's a relation with the tasks database. This way, I can link tasks to projects.
Each task has a "Status" property named... "Status"! (It was hard to find such a fitting name :D ) Now what I want to do is to use a formula on the projects database that will set the status of the project based on the tasks linked to it. For example, if at least one task has the "started" status, the database should have the "started" status as well and if all tasks are "completed", the project's status should be "completed" as well.
My issue is that I seem to be unable to retrieve the task status in the project database formula. Is that something that can be done or it's completely impossible?

(It was hard to find such a fitting name :D ) Now what I want to do is to use a formula on the projects database that will set the status of the project based on the tasks linked to it. For example, if at least one task has the "started" status, the database should have the "started" status as well and if all tasks are "completed", the project's status should be "completed" as well.
My issue is that I seem to be unable to retrieve the task status in the project database formula. Is that something that can be done or it's completely impossible?

My real estate agent (or maybe mortgage broker, I don't remember) recommended several insurance options, and I went with the one that was by far the cheapest (through Goosehead Insurance), which I've kept ever since.
I've generally been unhappy with their customer service, so when I recently got a new car, I used my credit union's insurance services to get quotes for car insurance, and went ahead and also got quotes for condo insurance to see if I could get a better price.
I was surprised that the rate they quoted was about 3 times as high as the rate I'm currently paying, so I carefully compared the coverage, and found that I only have $3000 per claim of Dwelling Coverage A. While my HOA covers the building itself, there's no way I could replace the flooring, drywall, plumbing, and other interior fixtures for anywhere near $3000.
It's on me for not closely comparing the quotes when I initially bought the condo, and I guess in retrospect the huge difference in price between the one I bought and the other options should have been a red flag. But I'm kind of shocked that they would even offer such insufficient coverage, and I'm very relieved I haven't needed to use it so far. Is this kind of thing normal, or did they screw up something when I first signed up?

We just sold our house and included the Dolphin S300 robot vacuum... however our new house didn't come with a pool vacuum.
The pool is a rectangle (roughly 18'x40') and I'd like a new robot vacuum that I can activate/control remotely like the old one. I was looking on Amazon and it seems that Dolphin makes roughly 500 different robot vacuums.

Since Monday morning, several of the apps on my S20 FE aren't functioning properly (some Google associated ones, Zoom, Messages, Samsung Internet, Chrome, YouTube, Settings, Whatsapp, Disney Plus, essentially some of the most useful ones aside from Reddit and Twitter) They either take longer to turn on, or crash, don't work at all, or I'm able to get them to turn on eventually and I think the issue is solved, and then I close the app and run into the same problem trying to open it again. I've tried restarting, disabling and re-enabling, deleting cache, reinstalling and uninstalling, and nothing is working. I looked it up and saw a similar issue that had to do with Android System Webview, and that isn't working.
Even the Phone app is starting to act weird (contacts and dialing not showing consistently), which is very close to rendering the thing useless. The one issue my phone's been having for a while even before this started is it's constantly notifying of an SD card error, but I've neglected to do anything about it because it wasn't affecting anything.
Could a dying SD card cause anything like this?

I’m a bride in her 30's and I'm having a “destination” weekend bachelorette in June that’s a 2-hr drive away. 11 other girls are attending. I was worried about Airbnb availability so I went ahead and booked one in January. At the time of booking, my MOH insisted that she wanted to be the one to make a Facebook group to coordinate logistics with the girls attending because she didn’t want anyone to think that she was being a “shitty maid of honour” – I assured her no one would think that, but since it was important to her, I agreed to let her make the group and handle coordinating with the other bridesmaids/friends.
In February my MOH had a bad breakup with her boyfriend. It's messy and they're fighting over who gets to keep the house. She’s having a hard time with it and I understand how sad breakups can be. For the past two months I’ve been telling her that I’m very anxious that a centralized group with all attendees has not been created yet, I have details that I want to share and I also want to align on the final Airbnb price per person since I have large wedding bills coming as I get closer to the wedding, and I want to settle up on my credit card since I booked the bachelorette accommodations. Every time I ask, she texts back and says “I’m having a bad week and I don’t have the energy right now, but I will make the group soon.”
Last weekend I saw her in person and told her how it was important to me that a group gets made soon, some attendees had forgotten the date and have not received any info since January. She snapped at me and said “okay fine, I heard you.”
This week I texted her again and kindly said I know she’s going through a hard time, but I’ve been receiving questions about the weekend and a group needs to be made, I said I’m happy to do it myself this week and make her an “admin” – then once the details start being planned, she can remove me.
She responds “I’m having a horrible week but I can do it, sorry it’s taking so long, but I want to do it” – this has been the response for the past two months. I reiterated how important it was to me to start the group, and if she wanted to make it that’s fine, but if she’s not up to it this week, I’ll create it myself on Friday. She didn’t respond back.
In summary: she is going though a hard time right now but insists on handling all of the bachelorette planning. She has not been collaborating with the other bridesmaids and tells them she’s handling the planning, but then doesn’t do any work. When I ask to take over, she says no and snaps at me. She won't let me move forward with planning because she claims others will think she's not being a good MOH. I’m at a loss on how to handle this.
