2023.03.30 20:12 daydreams172827 I'm close to homelessness and I'm terrified.
Last year, around June I quit my job and left an extremely physically, mentally, and s*xually abusive relationship to move back to my hometown and assist in end-of-life care for a family member. In August, they passed away. I've been applying ever since.
I need a job. I've needed a job for over 6 months now. I've applied and applied and applied. The only places that want to reach out to me are blatant scams and abusive workplaces that will take advantage of me. (MLMs or Sales position that pay less than legally allowed, in a state where $15.50 is minimum wage.)
Mind you, I haven't been picky with applying. It's been everything from janitorial work to food service to executive positions. If it's near me and open, you best believe I'd apply. But every time I get a letter or email within a week telling me I wasn't selected. I can't afford gas to go out and physically apply. Even when I have done it, I've just been told to apply online, where I'll surely be ignored.
I'm an artist and I'm struggling to make commission work as it's hard for me to find an avenue to advertise. Even on my art account on here, I don't have enough of a post history to post onto any art servers. My attempts are automatically flagged as spam and my posts are then deleted.
I'm an experienced dental assistant, yet no office I've applied to has hired me.
I'm a hard worker. I can do just about any job you ask of me. It's been extremely disheartening and depressing to open my emails to only be greeted with rejection letters.
I don't know what to do. It's been hard finding motivation to get out of bed every day. I know I'm a great worker. I'm dedicated. But with the job market the way it is right now, I don't know how I'm going to survive.

2023.03.30 20:12 sgt_vortex [GER/EU] Looking for a new TV after I moved into my first own flat
| Hey! , I'm currently looking for a nice 4K TV, and after some research, I thought about buying the LG OLED C2 65" - now that I'm waiting for a nice sale, I got unsure if the model and size would be a good choice. The TV board is 180 cm long, and the distance between it and the viewer (below the red blanket) is ~200 cm. Main use of the TV would be: Gaming with XBOX Series X, Netflix 4K, YouTube, Disney+ and some Streaming from my Gaming Computer. Info: The windows will get another roller blind so that I can make it darker. The TV does not need the best built-in speakers - I got some by myself. Price range would be ~€1500 for 65" - of course it would increase by size ^ Have a nice day & Thanks :) submitted by sgt_vortex to hometheater [link] [comments] |

2023.03.30 20:05 AutoModerator [Get] Dan Koe – Digital Economics Masters Degree Full Course Download
| Get the course here: https://www.genkicourses.com/product/dan-koe-digital-economics-masters-degree/ Dan Koe – Digital Economics Masters Degree https://preview.redd.it/4w9tt8nthyoa1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=aaacbd9fdb837f07a27a37c49cd406115367f9e4 What You Get Phase 0) Digital Economics 101 The Digital Economics 101 module will open 1 week prior to the cohort start date. This is an onboarding module that will get you up to speed so we can get straight into the material. This will be required to finish before the start date. - Gain a deep understanding of all of the pieces in the digital economy.
- Learn about the future of media and code — the front-end and backend of the internet — so you can focus your efforts.
- Understand digital leverage, distribution, no-code tools, and digital assets so you can take part in the mental & financial wealth transfer.
Phase 1) Creating A Meaningful Niche Every day I hear people going on and on about trying to find their niche.I also hear people talking about how they don’t know how to combine what they love talking about with what will sell. You already have the answer. You just don’t have the clarity. - Develop a long-term strategy to create your own niche — meaning you don’t have to worry about your “competition” playing status games.
- Discover your life’s work, curiosities, and obsessions. I see too many people that are uncertain about this for years.
- Cultivate and turn your vision, goals, and values into a brand that attracts an audience you love interacting with (and that will buy from you, and only you).
Phase 2) Content Strategy There is one thing that separates those who make it in the digital economy and those who don’t.It’s the quality, articulation, and perceived originality of their content. The content you post has to make sense to the people you attract.Everyone has a different voice and tone that they resonate with. That they are congruent with and trust. It has to change their thought patterns or behavior — that’s what makes you memorable. That’s what separates you from the sea of people posting surface-level copy-cat style posts.Example and putting my money where my mouth is: - Become an expert-level speaker or writer on the topics you care about.
- Never run out of content ideas for your posts or promotions (without using content templates — that’s how you stay a commodity).
- Create posts, blogs, tweets, images, and videos that resonate with other’s on a deep level. People will actually ask you how you got so good at what you do.
- Separate yourself from the ocean of B-tier creators that struggle to sell their products, services, andhave their ideas stick in the head of their audience.
- Implement our Epistemic Research Method — which is just a fancy way of saying scientific research method… but it’s for researching your mind to craft brilliant content and product ideas.
Phase 3) Crafting Your Offer Most people are sitting on a goldmine of skills, experience, and knowledge ( that they can use to help people 1-2 steps behind them). That is what people pay for.Considering 95% of the market are beginners… if you are good at something, you can help them get to your level ( no matter how “basic” you think the information is).Do you not watch basic content all day anyway? People don’t want new information, they want to be reminded of what works. - Use our Minimum Viable Offer strategy to start monetizing immediately (and have something to improve over time, rather than procrastinating until it’s perfect).
- Have a strategy for reducing the time you spend working over time (as you build leverage and improve your offer).
- Know how to create your own customers from the audience you are building, instead of “finding” the right customer for your offer.
- Take the guesswork out of building coaching, consulting, or digital product offers.
Phase 4) Marketing Strategy You aren’t making money because you aren’t promoting yourself or your offer. That is literally the only way to make money. Have something desirable and consistently put it in front of peoples’ faces. In Phase 4, I will show you how to systemize, automate, and be consistent with simple promotions. You will be able to make money without having the chance of forgetting to do it (or letting fear of failure get in the way). - Learn to sell on social media, in your writing, and across different platforms.

- Learn advanced automation strategies that you can implement at your own pace, especially once you validate your offer.

2023.03.30 19:57 alphanso_ai Why does RH have a rating of 8.6/10 despite the earnings miss and lower guidance?
Fundamental Metrics: * Strong operating margin (23.4%) growing steadily over the last 5 years. * The company has a Return on Equity (ROE) of 49.4% which is a sign of robust management. * The company trades at a P/E ratio of 9.3 (current S&P500 P/E is 19.3). * The slowdown in luxury house spending has already priced in the stock decline and sales are expected to pick up by Q4. * The company has a free cash flow yield of 5.9% reflecting good business sustainability. * Overall, we believe RH deserves a premium multiple for its pricing power and superior margins.
Technical Metrics: * Based on the Alphanso model, the stock is trading below the expected channel (range) of $294 and $347 * It also trades below the 50-Day SMA of $289.9

2023.03.30 19:48 elhamm1 S-1 filing can be used for raising capital by issuing additional common stock
Couple of clarifications on the misleading info that S-1 filing means a plan for spin off.
When does a corporate files S-1 filing for SEC?
As a US securities and stock lawyer, I can tell you that a corporation files an S-1 registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) when it plans to offer securities to the public for the first time. This is also known as an initial public offering (IPO).
The S-1 registration statement includes detailed information about the corporation, its business, financial condition, and the securities being offered for sale. The purpose of the S-1 filing is to provide potential investors with all the information they need to make an informed decision about whether to invest in the company.
Under SEC rules, a company must file an S-1 registration statement at least 20 days before it plans to start selling securities to the public. The SEC reviews the S-1 filing and provides comments and feedback to the company, which must be addressed before the SEC will declare the registration statement effective and allow the company to start selling its securities to the public.
It is important to note that the S-1 registration statement is a complex legal document that requires careful drafting and review by experienced securities and stock lawyers. Companies should consult with legal counsel before undertaking an IPO and filing an S-1 registration statement with the SEC.
Is the S-1 relevant or common when a company plans a spin off or M&A?
The S-1 registration statement is typically not used when a company is planning a spin-off or a merger and acquisition (M&A) transaction.
When a company plans to spin-off a subsidiary or division, it may file a Form 10 registration statement with the SEC. This registration statement is used to register the securities of the spun-off entity with the SEC and to provide information about the entity's business, management, and financial condition. The Form 10 filing is subject to SEC review, and the SEC may provide comments that must be addressed before the registration statement becomes effective.
In the case of an M&A transaction, the parties involved may be required to file various SEC forms, depending on the specifics of the transaction. For example, if the transaction involves the sale of securities, the parties may need to file an S-4 registration statement with the SEC. This registration statement is used to provide information about the transaction, the companies involved, and the securities being issued in the transaction.
In summary, while the S-1 registration statement is commonly used for initial public offerings, it is not typically used in spin-offs or M&A transactions. Companies involved in these types of transactions should consult with experienced securities lawyers to determine the appropriate SEC filings and disclosures required.
Will S-1 filing be used when a company issues additional common stocks on top of existing for raising capital ?
Yes, a company may file an S-1 registration statement with the SEC when it plans to issue additional common stock on top of existing shares for the purpose of raising capital.
In this scenario, the S-1 registration statement would be used to register the new securities with the SEC and provide information about the company's business, management, and financial condition. The registration statement would also include details about the terms of the offering, such as the number of shares being offered, the price per share, and any underwriting arrangements.
The SEC would review the S-1 registration statement and provide comments and feedback to the company, which must be addressed before the SEC will declare the registration statement effective and allow the company to start selling the new securities.
It is important to note that while the S-1 registration statement is commonly used for initial public offerings, it can also be used for other types of securities offerings, including secondary offerings of common stock. Companies should consult with legal counsel to determine the appropriate SEC filings and disclosures required for their particular offering.

2023.03.30 19:46 Banished_Privateer Some wrinkle math & thoughts (I'm regarded)
So Bobby needs to raise 300M capital (else BK). They can offer 295,411,477 shares ATM. Using simple math, assume constant price, they need to sell
ALL offering shares at a price
1.02$ to raise the cash needed. Even if they perform a reverse split, this should reverse the available shares for offering sale as well. Say they do 10:1, price goes from 0.69$ to 6.9$, but the shares for sale should also reverse split from 295,411,477 to 29,541,147 shares. We also can't forget that during ATM open sale it will tank the price, like I doubt they will do it all at once on a single trading day, that would be a terrible strategy. Given current price, they raise about 200M USD, assuming no price tanking. We're shy of 100M USD with the most optimistic estimate. So what does actually reverse-split do for BBBY? Simple answers might be best answers - making sure they can sell ATM with price not tanking under 1$ - which means they won't get delisted. In the current scenario, they will be notified soon about delisting for staying under 1$ price tag, so that's why we need RS to stay afloat and not get delisted technically. Could it cause a squeeze for shares getting recalled? Doubtful, otherwise everyone would do that, not just BBBY. The board members are not trying to "squeeze the shorts", but I'm pretty sure the board will take advantage if any squeeze were to happen and sell into the rally. They will also take advantage of any speculation, they keep mentioning "online forums, communities" speculating on the stock, price and squeeze. Basically they're not denying anything, but warning about it. If they didn't want speculation to happen, they would just deny all the false and misleading speculations circulating around (both bullish & bearish).
What's my take on this?
- We have two dates. I know we all love dates:
- the sales agreement will cease by April 26, 2023 (if failed)
- 11-17 April - Earning Report (estimates put it at 12th April)
- Baby spin-off could raise cash, but can it happen before all the other events? We are running out of time and time window is small for this now.
- The company is waiting to publish some bullish news or knows something we don't know and they're gonna sell into the rally after dropping the news (just like GME and AMC did).
Either way, I guess we have less than a month on a clock to fuck around & find out. Europoor XXX holder here. Boom or bust. Holding till 0$.

2023.03.30 19:45 The_taste_tells Dealership Woes
Trying to purchase my first bike but I'm struggling with the dealer which I have zero experience with. I'm hoping one of you with more experience has some advice to share.
I visited my local Kawi dealer, got approved for financing, but they didn't have a bike with ABS so they put in an order for one. I was told that once the bike ships then the dealer will get the VIN and then I can put my money down; that was two weeks ago. The McGuffin is Kawi's spring sale, the KLR is $1k off until the end of the month (2 days from posting) if I continue to wait I may have to pay full price and I'd really like to take advantage of the sale. There is another Kawi dealer with the bike I want but it's a few hours away. Is my local dealer playing games, should I abandon them and go elsewhere? Please don't turn this into a conversation about ABS. Thanks in advance.

2023.03.30 19:43 Comfortable_Shelter1 Money doesn’t change anything.
For years I was told to get a job and work on myself and that everything would work out. I no longer believe that to be true. Every day for over a year I have went to work at a factory where I do manual labor all day and leave with cuts, bruises, and flesh being so dry it rips. I haven’t missed a day, taken a vacation or got a raise while my only coworker calls out sick once a week and never gets in trouble and leaves the work to me. I have spent no unnecessary money and have managed to save thousands of dollars and am in the best shape of my life. And I don’t feel the slightest bit better because every night I go to sleep alone and wake up without anyone there. Not even a message on my phone. I would trade everything I own to wake up with one person who cares about me. The one thing I want is the only thing I don’t have and it makes everything else feel worthless.

2023.03.30 19:43 happy_armadillo [Europe] Looking for grooming products/routine
Hey everyone.
This may be a little harder because I guess many favourite products aren't available here, or at a price.
So, basically I've stuck to the routine I developed as a teen. Now as a fourty-something it just doesn't fly anymore.
Status quo:
I work in climatized rooms all day with absolutely no sunlight, so I often don't get much natural light at all 5 days a week.
The skin of my face is pretty bad, I often get pimples or ingrown hairs.
I mostly use whatever products are on sale at the supermarket, which worked for half my life, but I'm not happy with the outcome anymore.
What I'm looking for:
Some nice body wash. I shower in the evenings to remove whatever grime accumulated during the day. Would love a nice, lingering fragrance. Right now am using some L'Oréal Men shower gel, that is gone after 5 minutes and makes my skin feel dry.
Hair advice - using head and shoulders, because I always did, and had bad dandruff in the past. Makes hair look dull and strawy.
Face - generic Nivea face wash and some supermarket lotion.
Shaving - Using a safety razor. After being only semi happy with Proraso I'm gonna try Taylor of old Bond street. Any other advice?
Cologne - usually none, because I'm working extremely close to other people so I don't want to intrude on them with a fragrance they might dislike. Of course I wash with the body wash too in the morning so I don't smell.
Okay, any questions and suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance!
