I woke up from this dream with a racing heart and I was literally shaking. Here’s the dream:
(A lot a random things happened before this but they don’t matter and they’re completely unrelated)
Me and my friend were sitting in my car on the top of a parking garage just talking about what we were going to do next when I noticed a plane falling from the sky very slowly. It wasn’t on fire, but there was a lot of smoke coming from it that trailed through the sky.
I quickly opened the door of my car and got a closer look. (I don’t remember the name of the airline the plane belonged to, but it was a bigger plane). The parking garage I was in was right next to a major highway and the plane was right over the road, so it was extremely close.
All of the sudden, the plane froze in mid air, so I ran closer, leaving my car behind and took out my phone to take a picture of it. My friend was gone, but she was replaced with my dad who I could see in the frame of my phone camera.
When I put my phone down, the plane quickly dropped then froze in the air again. The wings dissapeared and the plane finally hit the ground, causing a huge explosion and you could physically feel the ground shake because of how close we were to it.
I shouted “Oh shit” and started running back to my car. (It was dream running though, I was basically moving in slow motion). On my way back, the other people watching from the garage started clapping as they saw the crew falling from the sky, each one of them supported by a parachute.
That’s when I looked up to the sky again. All of the passengers were falling from the sky, so I was glad they were okay.
But I watched as one guy was falling down to the parking garage. When he got close, he hit the ground and his body bounced up upon impact. (You could literally hear his landing, including the sound of his bones cracking, just like in the movies).
Someone screamed, so I looked back up, still dream running back to my car, and noticed the other hundred passengers also falling from the sky, all having the same fate as the guy from before.
None of their parachutes worked.
There were thuds and cracking sounds all around me. Bodies kept hitting the ground, but I kept making my way back to my car. It started raining blood, but I refused to look up, I just kept dream running. My dad was gone and I was running back to my car with some guy I’ve seen before, I just didn’t know who he was.
Avoiding getting pelted by a body and ignoring the screams of the people around me, I found my car. Before me and the other guy made it, there was some random passenger from the plane that survived his fall, but he was severely injured and delusional. He was covered in blood and his leg was broken. You could see his bone sticking out through his skin.
“Does either one of you have I car I could borrow?” He asked with an evil smile on his face. “And I’m not holding an exacto knife.” I looked down and he was literally holding an exacto knife.
Before I could run again, he stabbed the guy that I was with in the neck, and I turned quickly and ran back to my car.
Then I woke up.
I’ve had a dream before with the same ending with the guy and the exacto knife, but not the events that happened before so I thought it was wierd.
I’ve had worse dreams, but this one freaked me out. I didn’t shoot up in bed like I usually do, I woke up but I kept my eyes closed and I was breathing so fast.
If anyone thinks they know what this dream means I’d love to hear it. I’m pretty freaked out by it.

What I liked: - The opening. It was spoiled for me, but it was still nice seeing it play out and it's my new favorite opening in the franchise. - The kills. Nice bloody kills, and I like how not all of them are just multiple stab wounds to the body. - Killer reveals and motive. I see a lot of people who dislike them. I can't say I agree with their reasons, but I we all have our opinions. Also, remember when the killer reveals was leaked a few weeks before the movie? Yeah, someone told me TWO of the "main" killers (Wayne and Ethan), but didn't show me the footage. When watching the movie, I thought maybe they were trolling. When Wayne shot Kirby, I was only expecting another Ghostface to appear, but not a third one (Quinn), and was surprised when it happened. Thankfully, the third Ghostface was a surprise! I'm so happy there wasn't two again.
What I disliked: - I mentioned I liked the kills, but didn't like how Gale, Chad and Kirby lived despite taking so much damage. They shouldn't be able to live through all of that. The line has to be drawn somewhere. - Mindy was kind of annoying. Can we move past the "character who knows all the rules"? Time to develop her a little more. She did have some funny moments though. - Like I said, the reveal was nice, but the acting by Liana, Dermot, and Jack. I get they're supposed to be psychotic, but they came off a little too cartoonish for my liking. - The action in the third act. It was all over the place. Characters get seriously injured and all of a sudden they can fight back/run like nothing happened. Stuff like this annoys me in movies and TV shows, but should be expected. It's always going to happen.
In the end, I really liked the movie. Radio Silence has done a great job handling Scream.

It’s quite a common aspect of world-building culture, in communities, for individuals to ask questions about different aspects of world-building—whether it’s world-building tips-and-tricks, tutorials, or individuals looking for critical feedback, because it’s important and incredibly helpful to use the community to crowdsource information and experiences when we find ourself stuck or unsure. I mean… every individual in these world-building communities, in groups like this one, have different types or levels of expertise. No one person has the time and resources to study and/or be an expert at absolutely everything: that’s where the community is helpful.
At the same time I think there’s this dichotomy among world-builders, where… on the one hand we are happy to share our world-building with anyone who will listen, and we’re elated if and when someone asks us about it: on the other hand it’s common to feel guarded and become somewhat protective about our world-building projects and the ideas we put into it. Especially when we’re in the company of other world-builders if it’s individuals we don’t know.

1. If someone were to post to the group [for example] asking, “Do you have banshees in your world and how are they iterated?” What is the line between sharing and over-sharing? Especially if you’re trying to do your own spin on the concept, but now you’re giving that out to everyone and their brother.
   
2. Or whatever if someone is stuck and they’re looking for a sounding board. Out of our desire to help, we brainstorm ideas and engage in some research. Then we find whatever ideas we came up with are starting to become really juicy to include in our own world-building: does one still share those ideas, or do you keep them to yourself?
   

It’s much easier when the person asking is working on a world-build that’s different from what you’re working on. Maybe the ideas you share you’ll never use in your project—then it’s easy to let go of those ideas, since we don’t have an investment in them. However, it becomes more nuanced with someone working in similar genres. 3. How do you help someone with what they’re working on without over-sharing the specifics of what you’re doing?
