To begin, my sons father forced his way into my home and assaulted both my younger sister and I. For context my younger sister is 20 and I’m 25. He came to my house because I took back a phone I lent him that was under my plan. He willingly gave it to me the night before. When he was at my house, I told him I don’t have the phone anymore and he became angry, snatched my phone from my hand and forced his way into my home. In the process he pushed me and I hit the wall quite hard and fell to the ground. Now he’s 6’2 and i’m 4’11, but I tried to grab my phone back and kept telling him to leave. My sister came to try and help and while she jumped up on his back to try to retrieve my phone he grabbed her from behind him and tossed her over his shoulder and her head collided with the ground. I told her to stay down but she wanted to grab my phone and get him the fuck out of the house. She jumped up to get it again this time aiming for his arm but he did it a second time. Tossed her over his shoulder and she hit the ground. I told her to stay down. He locked himself in my bathroom but before he went in I tried to grab him but he pushed me really hard off him and I fell on my arm and sprained it. Throughout all this he was screaming he knows MMA and will fuck us both up, that he’s going to get full custody of our child and that I’m a stupid bitch etc, etc. Luckily the sheriff came because my security alarm tripped and he was arrested. Now he’s being charged with a 1st degree felony with a pre trial date in May. My sister and I suffered bruises and I received a sprained arm. This happened in Florida. Conviction with a sentence is our main goal.
What are the possible defenses you’d make to reduce the charges and if reduced, what will the new charges be? The evidence we have is video caught on my ring camera of him snatching my phone from my hand, as well as him taking to the sheriff and basically the entire ordeal however only in 24 second increments.

So about 2 weeks ago, my ex brought up that she’s been having a hard time with distance and has been feeling disconnected. We never really got into fights and if we did we would communicate really well on resolving it. She suggested to have a week break of no contact so she could have some time to herself to think if it’s worth staying with me. Week goes by and we call. She finally decides that i’d be best to break up since she gets the feeling of being disconnected after each in person visit and doesn’t know if she could handle it anymore. We both know that we equally love and care for each other and she asked me if we could remain friends. She desperately says that I did nothing wrong and that i’m a perfect partner and that she still wants me in her life. I do want the same thing but I think i need some time apart from her so feelings could go away.
about 2 months ago, we bought a plane ticket for her to visit my home state for a week in the last week of April. And now that we’ve been broken up, idk if it’s the best idea for her to come here. I still have so much love for her and I do want to spend one last trip with her before we stop all contact for a couple of months. i think i’d be nice to spend some good memories and then say our last goodbyes to each other. part of me also thinks that this might be too awkward or just be a trip with a lot of tension. I’m not sure what to think of it.

Hi gang, long time ivern fan but I've only ever played him JG or Mid until yesterday. tried my first game with ivern on support whilst my friend went maokai APC (we were trolling but in a 5 stack with friends who were all fine with it)
It went well and we actually dominated lane but I noticed that I ended up getting a lot of the kills mostly from daisy autos, ignite and my range over maokai.
My question really is a two parter.
1) what are some better non troll pick adcs to pair with ivern. I know Caitlin and rengar are good cuz of brush passive but are there others?
2) if I run maokai ivern bot again. How is ivern as an APC? Any builds or stratus?

I am so unlucky, i think i bought the quest 2 in the worst time 2 years ago, because i never get any sales, nor discounts and now quest comes with game bundles and more storage, and also i never used a referral code ಥ⁠╭⁠╮⁠ಥ

About two weeks ago my fiancée was seeming down and I asked her what was going on. She explained to me that she loves me but she doesn't feel like she is 'in love' with me any more as she doesn't feel romantic towards me after being together for 7 years.
Our relationship hasn't been the absolute greatest but started really well and we were both really close and the intimacy between us was goood. About 2 years ago we moved in with her parents so that we could save for a deposit for a house/flat.
Naturally our sex life dried up somewhat due to living with family but otherwise we stayed close and spent a lot of time together. About a year ago we bought our own flat and we've both been focussed on our career since then with me securing a promotion at work and her upskilling a lot.
Since that moment I have felt absolutely broken. She's moved out of our flat and moved back in to her parents home. We met up the following day and we both admitted that we've not really been focussed on eachother since moving into the flat and agreed to try to start again with dating.
Since then we've had one proper date, another one was on the cards however was rained off and we spent an evening in together. She's been popping round to the flat every other day for a couple of hours but I can't help feel hollow.
She's said she needs time to work out her feelings but I can't help but cling on to one of the things that she's said towards the start of this new phase of our lives "I miss you but I don't know if I just miss my best friend or if I want to be with you".
I can't help but feel used and like I'm just being strung along whilst she works things out. What I want is for us to be back together but I can't help but feel like I'm clinging on to an option that doesn't exist.
Has anyone been through anything similar? I don't know whether to just rip the band aid off and call it a day or to ride out this storm.
tldr: Partner told me after 7 years that she doesn't feel romantic towards me and left to live at her parents. She's wanting to "date" in the mean time and I just feel strung along whilst she works things out.

Most context I think I can give is that I was diagnosed with ADHD last December, and it sure as hell explained a lot. Thought I would actually be able to study this year but I don't think my medicine is effective enough. Even then I've been trying my absolute hardest with every subject (and spoilers, the tests for all my other subjects all gave me results 50-60 percent range.) For English? I thought I was prepared for my first coursework task, got an N result, started trying to study harder for English. Took the second coursework task and received ANOTHER N (and just under the required amount marks to rub salt in the wound.) I was so freaked out that I essentially slowed my studying for all my other subjects to focus on English (managed to write 5 practice essays in 2 weeks) Today was the final SAC, and to say things went badly would be an understatement. I wasted so much time stuck on my first paragraph that I only got halfway through my third paragraph before the timer ended. I don't know if I failed but I'm pretty sure I did. My best hope is that my teacher gives me enough pity marks to pass at this point. I fucking hate this. I hate VCE so much I hate not being able to be a straight A student like my brother even though I desperately want to. I fucking hate trying my absolute hardest on studying only to see on my SAC results that I barely passed. I hate this fucking disorder. I hate that I'm too retarded to study well or remember my notes I wish I was normal enough to actually be good at school. If I fail English (which I probably have) is there a way a can still graduate? Let alone find a pathway into uni???

1. What drives you in life? What do you look for? I'm looking for sucess in my career. One of my biggest issues is that at the same time I want to be successful and rich, I also want to do something that is enjoyable and exciting for me, as I can get bored with life easily. One of my biggest interests is reading and watching true crime. I want to do the best I can in my studies, but I can also become really distracted by subjects like tv, true crime and mbti, which is something I am hoping to overcome.
   
2. What do you hope to accomplish in your life? Like I said before, besides being successful, rich and independent. I also want to do something exciting and enjoyable. I want to be able to go to other countries and meet new cultures, but my family is also very important to me, so I hope I don't get too distant to them.
   
3. What do you hope to avoid doing or being? What values are important to you? I want to avoid regretting my choices in life. Because of that, I frequently spend a lot of time thinking about making the best decision I can and researching the options available. Situations where I have to make important decisions are what makes me feel the worst.

1. Describe how you experience each of: a) anger; b) shame; c) anxiety. I don't feel a lot of anger. Rude and ignorant people make me angry, but I can manage that very well. When angry, I try to speak up my disagreement, but being very logical and without offending the other person.

I also don't feel a lot of shame, as I always think all of my actions carefully.
Anxiety is my biggest problem. I have ocd and tests and life decisions make me feel the worst. I don't manage my anxiety very well and I have to take medications in order to do it.

1. Describe how you respond to each of: a) stress; b) unexpected change; c) conflict. Stress is a big problem for me. I try to tell myself panicking won't help and keep calm, but most times I can't. Sometimes I will start ignoring my problems, though.

Unexpected change can be difficult to deal with, I prefer to be prepared beforehand. But depending on the change, it can also bring some excitement in my life, which is appreciated.

1. Describe your orientation to: a) authority; b) power. How do you respond to these? I really dislike authority, as I want to be treated like equal and treat others like equal. Authoritarian people really annoy me. I have a small desire for power and status, but I have no desire to control other people's lives. c) Love/passion I asexual and aromantic so I don´t feel sexual and romantic attraction. I also not affectionate at all, even with my family and closest friends.
   
2. What is your overall outlook on life and humanity? I feel like life is different for each person. I wrote here the things that I value the most, but these can be different for everyone, and none of them is wrong as long as the person is satisfied and happy. I don't think humanity is good or evil. There are bad people, but there are also a lot of interesting people to make friends with.
   

I’m 6w7 by the way

A couple days ago, my post about wanting Dehya to be as strong as Xiangling got a lot of negative reception and I not saying it was mean and condescending stuff but just negative in the sense that most people didn't want Dehya to be that good and I don't understand why that is, so I'm posting my reasoning for wanting that and I would like to hear some opinions on why future characters shouldn't be as strong.

1. Xiangling, and many other early-game 4 stars, namely Bennett, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Fischl & Beidou exist. To this day, they are the most played characters and for good reason, they are not only strong in terms of DMG and elemental application, they also provide various other things like healing, buffs, DMG reduction & interruption resistance, lot of energy generation and whatnot. Most of them don't need high investment to be good, just medium investment makes them good enough for anything we have in the game. They can also be built with super high investment and then they become even more OP than they already were, and overall, they are way stronger than the new 4 star characters.
   
2. Hyperbloom Powercreeped everything in the game. Good Hyperbloom teams at super low investment beat International with mid-high investment and are easier to play. This is a good thing in the sense that no one is forced to spend for characters they don't want just to do abyss or anything else and no is forced to play characters they don't like, there are more choices now than there were before. Pre-dendro, there were way too many teams that relied on Bennett Xiangling Duo to make them good. There were many teams where there was little to none interaction between the characters like Ningguang teams with Bennett Xiangling or Heizou teams with Bennett Xiangling and many more, which is something that annoyed me as I want to use characters with reactions as the game is sorta balanced around reaction gameplay with some exceptions. It's also just more fun to play that duo with characters that enable reactions and make it better like With Childe International or Sucrose National or even Raiden National cuz in those teams, Xiangling doesn't just exist but she compliments your team in some way. I know this part just might be specific to me but yeah, I don't like teams where 2 characters do their separate things and the other 2 get half carried by Bennett Xiangling. So with the introduction of Dendro and Hyperbloom, Xiangling Impact definitely lessened which is good as there's more choices but at the same time, Hyperbloom is so strong that it powercreeps everything.
   
3. From what we've seen in the new 5 star characters that are similar in role/gameplay to some 4 star characters like Noelle-Itto & Xingqiu-Yelan, the 4 star characters provided more overall team utility but less DMG than the 5 star counterparts. Dehya however, she couldn't even outperform Xinyan's DMG in Mono Pyro with Bennett Kazuha Xiangling. This made no sense to me and it's just sad to see. She also lacks other areas in comparison to basically everyone and that's just sad. So that's why I said I wanted her to be as strong as Xiangling in some sense. Cuz otherwise, what's the incentive to use her over anyone else. And I'm not just talking about Dehya but even the new 4 stars should be the same level as the early game 4 stars cuz otherwise, most of them never get played for the majority of the players. Candace, Layla, Dori, and many more are just not good units and they never get played in most teams by most players, if they were similar in strength & utility then wouldn't there just be more choice for players to make different teams and not just play units they have been playing for the last 2 years.
   
4. So this was what I didn't understand, Powercreep is bad, sure, I get that, but why is wanting SIMILAR strength and utility from the new 4 stars and maybe more DMG but less utility from the 5 stars, why is that bad? Doesn't that make more sense cuz then there would be many more teams that don't need the old units at all and can function just as well as them with the new 4 stars. And same for the 5 stars, if there's a character like Dehya that can't outdamage anyone and provides little to no merit in other roles, why would you use her over other characters? But if she was as strong as Xiangling, then those who like her could play her without griefing and those who like Xiangling would just play Xiangling, where's the issue if it's not a Powercreep but just similar power level?

Time to get a new phone, my phone is finally giving up. I tend to use my phone for very long duration (i am looking for 4+ years atleast when i buy a new phone). Right now I have my eyes on Poco F1
Budget: will love to have something under 20k but can extend budget upto 30k if really needed.

Taking my 3 sons out west for vacation this summer. They’re 15, 17 and 19 (by the time we go).

Older 2 just got a Mavic Mini drone 2 weeks ago and are loving it so far.
So, we’re going to do 6 nights in Colorado with the 17 yr old’s GF’s family, and then either head to UT or WY for another 5 nights or so.
Aside from a 2 night stay in downtown Denver for a work conference back in 2001, I know next to nothing about CO.
