2023.03.30 19:21 jannatrasel Become an Independent Car Dealer: Buy and Sell Cars Without a Lot

If you're looking for a way to make money in the automotive industry, becoming an independent car dealer is a great option. As an independent car dealer, you have the freedom to buy and sell cars without the need for a physical car lot. In this article, we'll explore the steps you need to take to become an independent car dealer and how to buy and sell cars without a lot.
Get a Dealer License
The first step to becoming an independent car dealer is to obtain a dealer license. Each state has different requirements for obtaining a dealer license, but most will require you to complete a training program, pass a background check, and obtain a bond. You can find out the specific requirements for your state by visiting your state's Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA) website.
Choose Your Business Structure
Once you have your dealer license, you'll need to decide on the structure of your business. You can choose to operate as a sole proprietor, a partnership, or a corporation. Each structure has its advantages and disadvantages, so it's important to do your research and choose the one that's right for you.
Find a Location
While you don't need a physical car lot to operate as an independent car dealer, you will need a location to store and work on the cars you buy and sell. This could be a garage or a storage facility. It's important to choose a location that's convenient for you and easily accessible to your customers.
Build Your Inventory
Now that you have your dealer license and a location to work on cars, it's time to build your inventory. There are several ways to do this, including attending auto auctions, buying from private sellers, and buying from other dealers. It's important to do your research and find the best deals on cars that will be in high demand in your area.
Advertise Your Business
Once you have a few cars in your inventory, it's time to start advertising your business. This could include creating a website, placing ads in local newspapers or online classifieds, and handing out business cards. It's important to create a strong brand and build a reputation as a trustworthy and reliable independent car dealer.
Build Relationships with Customers
One of the keys to success as an independent car dealer is building strong relationships with your customers. This means providing excellent customer service, being transparent about the cars you sell, and following up with customers after a sale. By building a loyal customer base, you'll be able to generate repeat business and attract new customers through word-of-mouth referrals.
Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends
The automotive industry is constantly evolving, so it's important to stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations. This could include attending industry events, subscribing to trade publications, and networking with other independent car dealers.
In conclusion, becoming an independent car dealer is a great way to make money in the automotive industry without the need for a physical car lot. By obtaining a dealer license, choosing the right business structure, finding a location to work on cars, building your inventory, advertising your business, building relationships with customers, and staying up-to-date with industry trends, you can build a successful independent car dealership. If you're interested in becoming an independent car dealer, visit the Autodealer License Authority website for more information on how to get started.

2023.03.30 19:21 EdMirror Should I buy Dragon Age: Origins, the whole trilogy, or neither?

The Dragon Age trilogy (I assume it’s only the three games) is currently on sale on steam for like 10 bucks each. I’ve heard very mixed things on these games, so I want to see what the general consensus is.
I love rpgs and my top 5 games are literally all CRPG’s. Stuff like Divinity Original Sin and Pathfinder are the best. I also really love the Elders Scrolls games.
So, should I buy Dragon Age Origins, which I’ve heard is the best one, or the whole trilogy? Or should I just not bother and get something else?

What You Get Phase 0) Digital Economics 101 The Digital Economics 101 module will open 1 week prior to the cohort start date. This is an onboarding module that will get you up to speed so we can get straight into the material. This will be required to finish before the start date.
  • Gain a deep understanding of all of the pieces in the digital economy.
  • Learn about the future of media and code — the front-end and backend of the internet — so you can focus your efforts.
  • Understand digital leverage, distribution, no-code tools, and digital assets so you can take part in the mental & financial wealth transfer.
Phase 1) Creating A Meaningful Niche Every day I hear people going on and on about trying to find their niche.I also hear people talking about how they don’t know how to combine what they love talking about with *what will sell.*You already have the answer. You just don’t have the clarity.
  • Develop a long-term strategy to create your own niche — meaning you don’t have to worry about your “competition” playing status games.
  • Discover your life’s work, curiosities, and obsessions. I see too many people that are uncertain about this for years.
  • Cultivate and turn your vision, goals, and values into a brand that attracts an audience you love interacting with (and that will buy from you, and only you).
Phase 2) Content Strategy There is one thing that separates those who make it in the digital economy and those who don’t.It’s the quality, articulation, and perceived originality of their content. The content you post has to make sense to the people you attract.Everyone has a different voice and tone that they resonate with. **That they are congruent with and trust.**It has to change their thought patterns or behavior — that’s what makes you memorable. That’s what separates you from the sea of people posting surface-level copy-cat style posts.Example and putting my money where my mouth is:
  • Become an expert-level speaker or writer on the topics you care about.
  • Never run out of content ideas for your posts or promotions (without using content templates — that’s how you stay a commodity).
  • Create posts, blogs, tweets, images, and videos that resonate with other’s on a deep level. People will actually ask you how you got so good at what you do.
  • Separate yourself from the ocean of B-tier creators that struggle to sell their products, services, andhave their ideas stick in the head of their audience.
  • Implement our Epistemic Research Method — which is just a fancy way of saying scientific research method… but it’s for researching your mind to craft brilliant content and product ideas.
Phase 3) Crafting Your Offer Most people are sitting on a goldmine of skills, experience, and knowledge (that they can use to help people 1-2 steps behind them). That is what people pay for.Considering 95% of the market are beginners… if you are good at something, you can help them get to your level (no matter how “basic” you think the information is).Do you not watch basic content all day anyway? People don’t want new information, they want to be reminded of what works.
  • Use our Minimum Viable Offer strategy to start monetizing immediately (and have something to improve over time, rather than procrastinating until it’s perfect).
  • Have a strategy for reducing the time you spend working over time (as you build leverage and improve your offer).
  • Know how to create your own customers from the audience you are building, instead of “finding” the right customer for your offer.
  • Take the guesswork out of building coaching, consulting, or digital product offers.
Phase 4) Marketing Strategy You aren’t making money because you aren’t promoting yourself or your offer. That is literally the only way to make money. Have something desirable and consistently put it in front of peoples’ faces. In Phase 4, I will show you how to systemize, automate, and be consistent with simple will be able to make money without having the chance of forgetting to do it (or letting fear of failure get in the way).
  • Learn to sell on social media, in your writing, and across different platforms.
  • Have consistent sales coming in while focusing on your meaningful message (no need to sound salesy all the time).
  • Learn advanced automation strategies that you can implement at your own pace, especially once you validate your offer.
Bonus) The Creator Command Center The Creator Command Center is a Notion template that houses all of the systems. This is how you will manage your brand, content, offer creation, marketing strategy, and systemized promotions for consistent sales. Bonus) Live Product Build & Launch In the first Digital Economics Cohort, I built out my course The 2 Hour Writer.I have videos showing how I build it with the strategies in phase 3 and 4.There is a bonus module that shows how I had an $85,000 launch that resulted in my first $100K month.I did this to prove the strategies inside Digital Economics work if you stick to the plan.***And, this past Black Friday, I blew my that monthly high out of the water in 4 days.***That’s the power of these strategies if you stay consistent with your life’s work.

2023.03.30 19:18 FamilyGuyFan53 Not Sure Which Route To Take

I’m graduating college in a few months and I have offers from both ADP in my hometown where I currently reside and I have an offer to start at Gartner but I would have to relocate to Florida ($5k relocation assistance + an extra $2.5k once I complete my 10 week training).
I actually interned with ADP and I was able to get some hands on experience and great training during my summer with them. I know that their training is often regarded as top tier and would make me into a great sales professional but it’s also a grind and I read that selling payroll can be quite rough (Lots of cold calling and door knocking).
I’ve heard the same things about Gartner and how it is also a great spot to start my career and can lead to great roles in other companies down the line. Here I’d be responsible for meeting with Gartner clients regularly throughout the year and getting them to renew Gartner’s services at their renewal date. With good enough performance I would get promoted to an AE position.
ADP’s salary is lower but since I’d be moving across the country for Gartner it almost evens out.
I’m wondering which organization I should pick because I do like both companies and they both seem like amazing places to build a solid sales foundation.
P.S. I don’t mind relocating or staying here in my hometown. I just want to choose the best company to start at.

2023.03.30 19:18 ChiliPalmer1568 Question about low-ball offers?

Do buyers who make low-ball offers genuinely not understand or know that Poshmark takes 20% right off the top of any sale that we make? Is this really "insider" information, which is why they don't take that into account when making a ridiculous offer? Or is it common knowledge, and people generally just don't care and try to get something for almost nothing, no matter what?
What is the right way to deal with low-ball offers? I've heard some sellers say to decline and ignore them, and others who recommend countering with your best reasonable offer so that you don't miss out on a possible sale. Are buyers who make ridiculous low-ball offers worth my time to determine what I can reasonably afford to counter-offer? How many people out there in Poshmark land have had success with countering low-ball offers? I'm genuinely interested to know if this is a valid strategy or if I am wasting my time 🫤.

2023.03.30 19:16 Timeshare_Law_Firm The Timeshare Law Firm is filling class action cases against many major timeshare companies.

This is the press release we put out announcing our Class Action cases: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20230314005823/en/The-Timeshare-Law-Firm-Filing-Class-Action-Cases-Against-Major-Timeshare-Resorts
The resorts involved in these lawsuits include: "Travel + Leisure Co." (Formerly "Wyndham"); Holiday Inn Club (Silverleaf Resorts, Orange Lake); Hilton Grand Vacations (Diamond Resorts); Marriott (Sheraton, Vistana, Hyatt); Berkley Group (Vacation Village, Lando, Massanutten); Geoholiday / Sapphire Resorts; ResortCom (Villa Del Group, El Cid); Bluegreen Resorts; Capital Vacations; And Westgate.
These lawsuits involve mass violation of Consumer Laws that where specifically designed by Government Regulators to protect Timeshare Purchasers at the time of sale, BEFORE they sign a contract, thus a failure to provide Government Mandated Warnings from Legislatures or the Department of Real Estate such as:
  1. Timeshares are not a good investment;
  2. Timeshares are not an appreciating "asset" for your children;
  3. Timeshares are not easy to sell;
  4. Consumers should not rely on hours of oral promises made by sales reps and managers.
It doesn't matter what state you live in or where you bought your timeshare, because the Class Actions and Mass Actions are filed against the resorts in states of strategic importance. Even if you purchased many years ago, under the Discovery Rule, your rights can be renewed in 2023.
Read the press release for more information. If you have questions, call us at 321-224-111 or leave them in the comments down below.
The Timeshare Law Firm believes in open transparency, and you can view some of our active cases on our Website at our Orlando Florida branch, our Las Vegas Nevada branch, and our Gatlinburg Tennessee branch offices. You can verify our credentials at the Bar Association - we've served 9,000 timeshare clients without any sanctions. https://www.mywsba.org/PersonifyEbusiness/LegalDirectory/LegalProfile.aspx?Usr_ID=000000031068

2023.03.30 19:16 CutProfessional9907 Gave it my all on my final day of giving

Started JM’s 2~3 years ago, got burnt out from being a heavily relied on shiftie and ended up putting in my resignation recently. I’m one of the only day of giving veterans at my store so I figured I would help out and put a third day of giving under my belt Never have I been so exhausted and validated in my decision to leave…. Day before D.O.G. I asked to be scheduled extra for nightside to set it up. Someone got sliced, okay I will close and be back at the store in less than 12 hours no biggie D.O.G. Rolls around, lunch is a slaughter but most things are getting done, the midday people after I leave don’t do much to set up dinner and the GM under-scheduled closing. I come back to close after giving myself a split, start everyone’s breaks and hauling ass, and still somehow managed to get out barely before 10pm
Nobody but the closing lead took me seriously about concerns for nightside, I didn’t have to put myself on for all those hours but it seemed like the right thing to do. Management loves never working a close, even when there’s callouts! 🙃
Despite my venting and frustration I am glad I gave it my all. I am happy to have raised so many sales for charity yesterday, and to have kept the store alive until the very end. I am sad to leave the wonderful team members I care about a lot but my JM’s has been killing me for a long time and at some point, enough is enough. I hope my soon-to-be old store gets better for the sake of the employees, and I hope you all here have smooth operations. Thank you for taking the time to read this vent-y post too lol

2023.03.30 19:15 Conscious_Guess4229 Finally a girl agreed to date me after 11 months in rehab

I'm still quite young (18M) but I had a shameful addiction to meth for 3 years that made me lose friends, family, my girlfriend and my happiness; that made me look haggard, pale, very thin and with an angry face. Thanks to that I lost my studies and dedicated myself to the consumption and sale of drugs at adolescent parties in my city while my mother was dating her new boyfriend a month after my father's death, so she didn't wear much attention.
I continued using crystal meth and living a very fast life until over a year ago when I was locked up in a rehab center of zero quality, where I met the worst kinds of addicts, thieves and mental patients, the place reeked of shit and there were only 2 meals a day.
Anyway, I left in January of this year with a different mentality, my old friends seem immature to me, my family no longer loves me, who I considered the love of my life stopped loving me and I lost all my money thanks to the stupid substance , but I have a little glimmer of hope that things will be better, now I have a stable job in a smoke shop and I met a girl I knew by sight but I never dared to talk to her until I got out of rehab, she didn't care My past matters as long as I'm a good person in the present. By the way, I'll see her in 2 hours and I'm very nervous because I'm going to see her at her school where her friends are and it's been a long time since I've talked to girls lmao.

2023.03.30 19:15 Luciferskii Business tips to get the IT company from 0 to profit

Hi! I have a company specialized in IT. It is a small company consisting of 10 people. The company is based in a very small country and one of the poorest in Europe. We've been working on a low-code platform for about 3 years and it is done, but a little bit buggy. The problem is that we can't get projects to work on, using our platform. Also, we don't really have the resources to go for sales outsourcing internationally.
One of my ideas, was to attract investors. But how to find them? Here in our country, there aren't any big investors.
What is the best advice you would give in this situation? I will deeply appreciate your advice!
Thanks a lot!
