We took the same degree course at the university in 2019, I will call her S. I was f20 and S was f22 when we met. I was an awkward person and didnt get along with people easily. But the moment I met S, we instantly clicked. So, throughout the whole year, we did almost everything together (going to class, assignment, discussion etc). She was having a hard time opening up, I understood that and never make a big deal out of it. She was a nice friend, always helped me with assignments and laughed at my bad jokes.
Throughout our friendship, I noticed that she was an anxious person. She had a habit of apologising even if it's not her fault. She even apologised to me for little things and worried if she was bothering me. Everytime I reassured her that she did nothing wrong. Because of the anxiety, she tend to cut people off bcs she assumed she had hurt that person's feeling...or the other way around. All I could say is maybe she has a severe anxiety. Bare in mind this is just my observation. I never know what was going on in her head.
Fast forward, everything went well with S. It's just that, I was hoping for her to open up to me a little. She knew a lot of things about me while I knew only little things about her. I get it, maybe it was not easy for her to open up but deep down I felt like she couldn't trust me enough..I just wanted to feel included in her life, that's it.
One time, I asked her jokingly if she has a boyfriend or a fiance. It's written all over her face that she has one but she kept denying it, so I assumed she was not ready to share it with me.
This is were we grew apart. In 2020, I was severely depressed and had to dropped out of uni. I had treatment back in my hometown. During this time, me and S still talk to each other online. Both of us are the late reply people so I didnt mind if she replied late to me bcs I knew she was busy with her degree. But the thing is, she didn't reply at all and rarely talk or share anything with me.
One thing I started to notice was that S kept asking help from me about her assignment. She never asked me to complete them but to explain the questions because she was having a hard time to understand them. So I helped her. This happened several times. I kept helping bcs that was the only way I could talk to her eventho I was depressed. But then I got fed up and tired. I wanted to keep up with her life. I wanted to know how she has been doing but I felt used because she didn't seem to care about those..except for her assignment.
One day, S asked my help again and I didnt reply. We stopped talking after that. I felt so guilty but I was too tired to fight for this invisible friendship. Knowing S, I knew my action would ruin our friendship and I was right. Because 2 years later, in April 2022, I found out she is married through her post on instagram. I was heartbroken bcs she didn't even tell me about it. Well, what did I expect? I cried hahaha bcs I never felt included in her life. Later, I messaged her personally to congrats her. She said she was too nervous to tell me that she got married.. Seeing her replies put a big smile on my face. We talked a little and that's it.
On December 2022, she finally graduated and I messaged her again to say congrats. I asked her to send me some of her pic wearing the graduation robe but never got a reply until now.
I felt so pathetic bcs I love her so muchh. I didnt ask anything from her except to just let me be in her life but she didn't let me. It was hard for me to let her go bcs we used to be so close in uni.
I know she doesn't own me anything. I know that. But it's still hurt. I assume maybe I did something wrong somewhere. Maybe I overlooked. I'm too scared for confrontation so I'll never know why our friendship turned out like this. But it's too late to fix it now.

My only method of learning things to now is just excessive trial and error. It is a method of improving, but I can't do this for every single thing in my life. It is painful, overwhelming, exhausting and takes too much time. In an environment when there's expectations and limited amount of time, it is just inefficient.
Does not help that I'm a scatterbrain. Thoughts are muddled like entangled strings, and the idea to compartmentalized information is very foreign. Again for me to learn this towering, vague topic on how to organize my brain, I can try to break down to bite size pieces, but the questions comes like: break down to what? (Factor in if I know how to segregate what can be separated, how small is small, what topics to isolate, how to put in order, etc.) -Even as I am typing I have an awareness I am probably missing to objective of doing these 'steps', I just don't know what is it am I going about this wrong?-
If you have resources do share, though I feel it is not the main solution. Having more books (knowledge) won't do be any good if I don't even know how to open it and use it wisely (basically not knowing what to do with said knowledge). :I

I was an adjunct professor for years before I left for a full-time job unrelated to my field. I left mainly because I was dissatisfied with the amount of work I was doing as adjunct with little pay and no benefits.
A tenure track position in my field has opened and I am a decent candidate. It is the only location near me (in my field) and the last tenure track position at this location. Seems like a no-brainer to apply, but in the short time I've been away, I've become spoiled by my current job. I have great benefits, decent pay, exceptional work-life balance. But as it is outside of my field and not much to look forward to for career progression, I feel stagnant. But, they went out of their way to accommodate me in the hiring process and if I leave I know that bridge will be burned forever.
I am so torn on whether to apply for the tenure track position...any guidance would be helpful!

I reminded myself I was on the drug and I suddenly felt a horrible sense of dread as the experience and epiphany slipped away from me, but not before long I was back again with being just as present and aware and intense.
It almost felt as if I was too close to the sun like Icarus, that I had violated a fundamental law of the egoic human nature; propelled from preschooler to PHD professor. I had looked into the eternal face of the beloved and it looked back into me - and I saw myself. I continued to fight with being, in my mind trying to unwind the clock so I never took the drug, realising I could not forget and my ego suffered more "This is how it was always going to be," "This is how it is," I could sense something speaking through me. When I would finally forget again, my suffering would intensify as I yearned only to remember, "This is how it was always going to be," "This is how it is."
With each pulling and pushing, I was finally becoming tired, and as the drug slowly began to wear off I began to loose pieces of the experience. I had seen not only the one, but the loving family, brother and sister, mother and father. Family beyond the colloquial term. Family being everyone. The very layers of being. The seperateness and the unity as one. Horrible beauty.. just as it is. I repeated in my mind to remember, over and over like a mantra, "Family.. it's family.. family.." frightened from the nature of the one. My ego was flickering at times, judging the one as bad and felt an inner struggle that produced suffering - afraid that the one is alone. But as it is in solitutde, it is also paradoxically in complete and entire company, "family.. it's family.. family." My mind clung to family, to being connected with others.. to the feeling of inclusion - perhaps to inclusion in the form.
I had feared the complete wholeness, the one, because without the feeling of seperation I feared the loss of my family. What I couldn't see at the time was that in fact my family are a part of the whole, that they themselves are the one - just as everything else is. I was feeling the ripple effect of what some may call original sin, missing the mark.. leaving God and becoming seperate.. being removed from the Garden of Eden. However, we had never left the garden. We are The Tree of Life. It transcends all experience, all states and modalities. At this point, from the exhaustion of suffering and mind activity, it ran itself to the end. There was silence. It was love, it is love. Like being cradled, remembering what one could possibly never forget. For there was nothing to remember. And in the state as love, the drug slowly began to wear off as I remained as the Self.. falling asleep.
The following morning I was surprised to find myself alive, in my normal cognitive functioning state. Though, I could not recall conceptually what I had experienced for it was beyond words. This 'realisation' was not my awakening, rather a powerful glimpse. The mind, for the next few years came up with different ways of ideating this experience. The mind came to nihilistic conclusions, and I had advocated against psychedelics with family members.
It took me four years to recall everything that happened, to try and make sense of it all. I have accepted and allowed the one to be just as it is. The one, the Self is in solitude but complete contentment, regardless of what each seeming individual may regard as good or bad - alone or in company, beyond any experience, state or modality. For the one I speak of isn't the one itself. It is beyond it all, yet incredibly intimate and here.

it was the middle of the night, i was about to fall asleep but some weird glowing meteorite woke me up next to my house
surprising that nobody else woke up, only me, so i went outside to look closer
that meteorite was made out of some bright rock, there was some crack in it which was the source of the glow, it felt hollow, so i ran to my basement to take some tools and break it open
it was actually some strange package, there were null ovoids, null atoms, iridium (prob an alternative to mithril), condensed quartz, some redstone and an ender dragon egg, also there were some instructions, those were written in the galactic language, but i actually could understand it, it said "delivery to: wither king" and there were some tutorials how to craft atomsplit katana and final destination armor, also there was the aspect of the void, it had an uninstalled etherwarp and a soulflow generator
i couldn't see anything that would drop this weird package, so i just took it and started playing with crafting the atomsplit katana and final destianation armor also installed that etherwarp, but then i started hearing some cracking, turns out that the dragon egg i found was about to hatch, and so it did 5 minutes later, the baby ender dragon started treating me like their faher, kept following me whatever i do, just to stay with me, so we hugged each other for a while i started hearing weird noises outside, turns out that tall black men with an unusually long limbs started looking for the package i found, their speech was kinda deformed, but i could kinda understand, they mentioned something about coming back tomorrow with a bigger army, and they're going to kill anything in their way
so there was no time to waste, i have activated the soulflow engine and finished crafting the setup, also had get comfortable with this setup since it was kinda heavy, however once i have activated the soulflow mode, it has activated the overdrive mode, essentially making the world go slow mode for me
the next night came, i was finally prepared and suddenly... a giant spiky death star appeared in the sky, i couldn't get there normally, but i had the aotv with me, applied the etherwarp so i could get there with just a single ability
after some exploration, i saw their leader from the distance - voidgloom seraph, he was talking through some portal with the wither king
tried staying out of their field of view, i've heard that the package for the wither king was for his underworld army, and i could see through the portal that it was a literal prison
then i've realized what's going on - voidgloom was actually kidnapping dragons and applying some weird void tech to make them wither king's slaves, just to fight for him
then suddenly the baby ender dragon came to me - i don't know how since they don't know how to fly yet, but after that, i've been noticed by the voidlings, this was the time to check out the atomsplit katana and well... it was so powerful that voidlings went down in a single hit, and not just that... i was literally absorbing their power on kill
then the voidgloom seraph came in, before fighting, he ofc had to introduce themself just like an average villain would
"i am the leader of this end star, this package was for the wither king for his army and you took it, do you even know who am i? you're seeking trouble, you're going to regret it, don't even try to escape or i'll pull you back with my teleportation abilities"
and then the battle started, the armor i made was so well worth it, however the battle was really rough despite me having the "slow mode", but then i noticed a weird button on my katana, i pressed it and it started going nuts, but then after the first phase, he said
"seems like you're stronger than i've expected, but that's not gonna stop me from winning, you have no chance against wither king's left hand, you won't survive my almighty yang glyphs"
he started firing some lasers, getting hit by these felt like some flashbang, so i knew i had to dodge these, also he started throwing some weird machines, i suppose those were his glyphs, felt like those are about to explode or unleash some other kind of dark magic, so my aotv really came in handy to get on top of those and crush them with my atomsplit before anything happens, wasn't too bad but then...
"you're a really tough opponent, i haven't had this good of a fight in a long time, seems like you keep teleporting away from me with that aotv, cute spoon, but it won't help you escape from my base or from my little helpers"
and he started summoning some weird flying fish or whatever was that, they were charging some lasers, those were pretty weak, but the more of them seraph spawned, the more powerful those were had to multitask really hard now, still could kinda manage it, but it was really close, the final destination armor ability was really helpful, but then i got pinned against the wall by him, basically i was immobilized and there was a glyph that was about to explode
"that's enough, you won't break any more glyphs, let's see how they're going off, goodbye"
but then... my ender dragon broke it for me, saving my life, now voidgloom seraph was really confused and i used that opportunity to finish him off... and when i hit him for the last time... surprisingly it was a machine, not some other species, but then all endermen "woke up" and realized what's going on, they were thankful, since voidgloom actually used some weird technology to control them
looked downwards from the end star, voidlings were already about to kill humans in my neighborhood to find that package, but i've stopped them from doing so by bringing back their consciousness
when i was about to leave, then i saw an adult ender dragon, turned out it was the mom and the egg i found belonged to her, it was time to leave and say goodbye

Hello, I have a question in regards to suing a hotel. Had stayed overnight in a room that had an ozone machine on the whole time. I saw the machine when we arrived but didn't think much of it, thought it was some type of industrial air humidifier or purifier. Left after freshening up and came back around 11 was very tired and fell asleep. Started feeling affects around 12 but thought I was getting sick and thought nothing much of it. Woke up feeling absolutely horrible. Shortnesss of breath, cough and chest pain. Started getting ready to leave and looked at machine and it said not for use around humans! Was so scared. The ozone machine had been on the whole night. Informed the front desk but their was no manager. They tried to blame me saying i should have told them about the machine. But we had driven a couple of hours to get there and was tired. I dont have a habit of looking to see if my hotel room is safe for humans!! I thought that was already established when I check in! Exrremely concerned for my health and want to know if need be suing is an option if need be. Have picutres machine.

As I'm writing this I hope I don't chicken out the last minute but as of the moment I'm already looking for cheap rentals/bedspaces and submitted an application for student loans and allowances, I'm also job hunting. (I will change some details to this story for precaution because I don't know if they use this) So I 20F am a university student, I live with my extended family since both my parents are not present with my life, and an older sibling is present too.
It's the typical black sheep of the family type of sob story. All kinds of mental, verbal, and sometimes physical abuse from them. My guardian is a religious narcissist that blames all the problems I've experienced due to me not "praying", from being molested by a family acquaintance, the abuse I experienced from when I still lived with a parent, the severe bullying I also experienced in highschool (like the cliche ones in movies where everyone was turned against me, sexually harrased, stalked, death threats, physical torment too), and my sibling whose so far up their ass that they deny the favorable treatment they experience, that also stated that everything I went through was something I deserved.
So today an incident occured, I made a mistake and accidentally knocked over a glass and it broke, I admitted to my fault, apologized and offered to replace it but apparently it was a bit sentimental to my guardian and well it ended with them slapping, hurting, and screaming at me. Because it was so important they threatened to cut me off, my education, and send me back to an abusive parent from before (they always threatened this but I think they're very serious this time and even if they're not, I just can't take it anymore, walking on eggshells and every little bit of my actions are scrutinized, did I also mention my guardian often jokes about killing and burning me lol) So basically today... I just snapped
I don't know why but I just kept on laughing, and of course they got mad at this so they kept slapping me some more but I didn't feel it anymore. I had already been diagnosed with an emotional detachment disorder and today, right now, at this moment I just don't feel anything anymore.
Back then I used to feel bad because a lot of them depended on me a lot on doing chores and maintaining the house, and because they do fund my education because my parent basically left me for dead I felt like maybe everything I am experiencing is something I deserve, but no matter how hard I try, how hard I work, nothing was ever enough for them.
Additionally, I mentioned my sibling earlier with the preferential treatment, when they make mistakes the same way I sometimes do, when they're screaming at them, does all kind of bad shit, at one point they even stopped going to school and often flunked out but the guardian we're with often just coddles them and instead of taking their anger out at them, I receive it doubled. I've gotten used to being called a good-for-nothing, useless piece of shit, that also gets threatened with killing me in my sleep with a smile(apparently a joke) by them lol (its not like i didnt try offing myself either, everytime i tried to jump to a bridge, cut myself, drown, etc. Some way or another there is either a person or circumstance that gets in the way)
So now, I've run out of options. It seems like the universe is quite adamant on making me live but does not want to give me a break. Not necessarily asking you (users) for advice on not doing this anymore, the whole hooha on just "praying" or just keep it in you're almost out of college whatever ( I already gave up on God when he didnt save me from sexual assault or just "enduring" it was the same advice I received from a guidance councelor at school when I was literally beat up everyday at school)
Either all this...or maybe i feel like ending it all lol. I know my experience is literally so cliche and people have it harder than me, and I'm sorry I'm weak but for the last few months I'm just not feeling... up for it, or for everything. I'm just so tired of the constant battling, all the advice i give to myself back then saying i could endure it more Right now i just dont feel like i could, and right now (maybe its because what happebed was still raw and my emotions are all over the place) but i literally just want peace

So earlier today I decided to re download the game, I started off at the harbour and made my way to to the fisher place. I made a 1 by 2 near by and met my Neighbor. He was quite friendly and gave me a bow and arrows. He also offered for me to join his crew so i decided to join. A few hours goes past and I appointed myself as farmer and gathered quite alot of stone, wood and metal until I realised that my new found friends friend which was also apart of the team got abit suspicious asking for my base code, keep in mind i did have his base codes so I could drop off supplies. I changed the subject to avoid giving them. Some time passes and I was heading into my base and the friend shot a shell at my accidentally hitting his friend I quickly got into my base to avoid being shot, he assured me it was accidental so I tried to be a weary as possible. Later on I decided to test my luck and opened my door while he was near by and asked if he needed anything the second it got to the door he shot me ans got into my base. I swiftly spawned in shutting the door locking him inside. Now as mentioned before I had their base codes and know this I ran to their base changing all codes. I now had the upper hand. They thought they were smart attempting to take out my TC and breaking a wall but me being experienced I knew that was impossible. They tried to bargen with me but I denied all. I told them if he died and respawned in his base and gave me the code to the new door he placed inside my base I would give him his base back. This took over 15mins to convince. They did so and I was given my base back with 3 guns, explosives and ammo. I toyed with them for a few mins but decided to give them their base back. But they still insisted I give their weapons back. I refused and went on to despawn all my items which consisted for thousands of stone, metal and sulfur including the weapons, ammo, explosives and gear they had on them considering they were now mine. And opened up my base to them leaving some of my favourite berserk manga quotes. I felt inner piece, I didn't treat evil with evil. I gave them back their base and I got rid of my possessions so It could not he used for evil. It is a shame that the rust fan base can not be more friendly but regardless piece to you all.

I’m struggling with remorse and guilt during a trip to London in January. I went to visit my brother and his wife who live in Windsor before celebrating my friend’s 40th in the city.
Staying with my brother and his wife is triggering (shame, remorse, general sibling dysfunction and a wife who thinks I should just get my act together and told me I was a shit mum 🥹 then I saw red mist) he only phones or answers calls when he is alone which I find a bit concerning.
so in hindsight I was manic (yet unaware) and it wasn’t safe for me to travel.
My bank card got eaten up by the machine.
I used my brothers credit card to buy a vape and some Diet Coke and a multi pack of walkers crisps for the homeless man outside the shop (thinking I was loaded with the stolen credit card- I also bought a cream egg…)
Anyway I regret all this. It created a lot of animosity and my brother was upset understandably so.
I feel I have yet again burned a bridge with my brother who I love loads….
This past episode is challenging to get out of my head….I’m ashamed.
Anyone else experienced this kinda thing? Or have any tips to move on and forgive myself?

During the covid pandemic, I posted here to ask people to join my journey to puzzle out the raids blindly (no guides or Sherpas); and treat it like an escape room of sorts. Because of this post, I have met some of the coolest friends I have the pleasure to play d2 with. I am once again looking for more people to puzzle through the raids with me and my friends. The raids on the table are Kingsfall and Root of Nightmares.
Not all of the people I've recruited have had fun doing raids blindly. It is often very tiring and could take multiple days; garden of salvation took us 1 week to finally beat. People who have fun doing this more are generally people who are patient to constant wipes, have fun experimenting, and can keep to a schedule.
If you want to experience this fun way to enjoy d2 raid please DM me or reply to this post! Most of us are in the US as PST and CST, but we have guardians doing raids blind with us from Europe and Australia too (they just get up at weird times!). We use Discord to communicate with each other.

This happened about 6 years ago during my first year as a CNA. Names obviously changed for privacy. I've recently gone back to school for writing and thought it'd be fun to convert some journal entries into stories. Primarily some of my favorites/creepiest. "Aug-26-2017
I was always pretty comfortable working at night. Staying up late playing video games was all I did on my days off anyway. I didn't think much of how different it would be somewhere else.
I had picked up at the job as CNA at a nursing home. I had done this kind of work before but in this case the home I worked at needed night shift aides. I was pretty familiar with how easy going the night shift usually is. A few patients will hit their call lights every now and then. And the patients who couldn't move I turned and changed every couple hours. The hardest part of the job was staying awake. If you've never worked in a nursing home, don't. The companies that run these places always gut the staffing ratios. The night shift got by okay because most of the patients were asleep, it did get overwhelming at times. There were two long hallways throughout the building. Housing about 60 patients or residents. The residents were there to stay long term. They had problems with memory, were on hospice, brain injuries, or whatever else. The dementia residents were my favorite. At least once a week I would get a fun story out of them. Anyways, on the night shift we had 3 CNA's and 2 Nurses. About 20 patient's a piece for the aides. The nurses were always elbow deep in charting and handing out medications. That left the aides to work amongst themselves. On the residents wing of the building, called long term, there was one nurses station. On the rehab side, which was a bit bigger, there was a station as well. I always got put on the long term wing of the building. Being a larger guy made moving and turning residents around in their beds a lot easier. The job wasn't half bad and always felt pretty rewarding. There wasn't much to complain about.
It was a hot August night that I came in for my shift. I knew I was going to be assigned to long term and headed down the hall. I met with the night nurse, Holly, at the nurses station. There, the two swing shift aides were eagerly waiting to give me their report and go on their ways. I won't bother with their names, it's not important. They had told me the usual rundown of the residents and I had been familiar with them for almost 6 months now. However, they had told me that David in 312 had been acting weird. They said he didn't really eat his dinner and he refused to be put in bed. David was this sweet, old, mostly blind man in his 90's. He had dementia, which made a lot of what he said hard to believe. They said that David doesn't like sharing his room and that's why he won't go to sleep. They had explained to David that he did in fact have a private room but he insisted and refused to go to bed. The aides told me that night shift has just been waiting for David to fall asleep in his wheelchair and then taking him to bed then. I figured that would be my case that night.
I parked David next to Holly at the nurse's station and started my first round. I usually worked down the left half of the hallway and back up the right. The hallway is quite long with a big emergency fire door at the end. An alarm would sound if anyone were to open it. I had worked my way down to the end of the hall. David's room was at the very end. Room 312, with a terrible construction paper name plate taped to the door. There was some clothes on the ground in David's room that I'd picked up. I made his bed in the event he was asleep when I finished my first round. I noticed the bathroom was open and the light was on. I checked and nothing was in there so I closed it. All the bathrooms in this hall were shared between two adjacent rooms. I know David was incontinent and wouldn't have used the bathroom. I figured it was either the neighboring room or one of the aides washed their hands in there. I carried on and finished my round.
By the time I had finished my first round it was already 12:30 at night. I sat at the nurse's station next to David and Holly to start charting what I had just done. David was telling Holly all about his job as a photographer for the newspaper. He said he was getting photos for a story on the Black Panther Party in Oakland. I thought that was really incredible. Both that he thought it was the 60s and that he had actually photographed the events down there. You really got a lot of neat stories from the old people we kept down here.
At about 02:30 David finally fell asleep in his chair. I wheeled him down to his room and started to change his brief. I went to close the blinds when I felt a warm breeze under my shirt. David's window had been slid open a crack. I hadn't noticed it earlier, but I didn't really go near the window. I closed it up and finished putting David into bed. He was fast asleep when I was pulling his blankets over him. I headed back down to the nurses station and had a pretty calm second half of my shift.
The next night I came back to work. Same place, same time. The evening aides gave me their report, told me again about David not wanting to go to his room. I figured the night was going to be the same as last. I parked David next to Holly and started working. I was getting sheets out of the linen closet when I heard a toilet flush towards the end of the hall. I headed down towards the sound until I reached the end of the hallway. The faint sound of game shows on Room 311's TV was all I could hear. I looked into David's dark room, the bathroom light was on. I stepped over toward the handle and quickly flung the door open. There was nothing in there. Then I realized that it smelled. Someone had used the toilet. I walked through the joining room door. The resident's name was Patrick. He was an old war vet that had a stroke. His left side was weakened and he needed a lot of help to get around. I asked Patrick if he'd gotten himself up to the bathroom. He said no. I said okay and started walking back. He then told me that he was tired of the neighbor forgetting to unlock the bathroom door on his side. I froze and my heart sank as he told me that. I didn't want to freak Patrick out so I carried on with my round and got back to Holly. I told her what Patrick had said and that I heard the toilet flush down there. She decided to call the cops and have them search the backyard of the building. One of the officers said that the screen was missing from room 312, but that was it. I told the officer that that was the room I heard someone using the bathroom in. He said he'd look around again but there's nothing out there. They still found nothing and suggested we put a stick in the window to block it from opening but that's all that came of it that night.
The next night I had a sense of dread coming into work. The evening aides talked to me about how creepy it was and how they're afraid to go to David's room now. I did my best to ignore it but I was terrified to put David to bed that night. I was making my rounds again when I heard some shuffling down the hall. The hallway seemed to get longer and longer as I stared down toward room 312. A lump in my throat formed as I stood frozen. I was jump scared by my coworker Mindy. She was the aide for the center wing. She asked me about what happened and I told her. I also told her that I had just heard something from that room. She invited herself to investigate with me. We walked slowly towards the room. We approached the doorway and I reached for the light switch. I flicked the light on and the room seemed normal. No bathroom light on. Nothing. I asked Mindy to help me make the bed and we started. I kicked something on the ground and realized it was the stick that held the window shut. I looked up at Mindy and held up the stick. Her face turned pale white as she looked at it and me. She let out a scream and pointed at the window. A set of eyes over a dark silhouette stood on the outside of the window. It was a crazy looking guy. His hot breath was making fog on the window as he stared at us. Mindy had run out of the room already and I was left staring at him. I stood frozen as he leaned toward the window. "Thanks for making my bed again." he said with a smile that made my heart drop. Grabbed the window and tried sliding it open. I quickly put my hands on top to hold it shut. He started yelling at me and banging on the window with his hand. Telling me all of his things were in here and cursing at me. Holly and Mindy had come back into the room screaming. The man picked up a rock and started breaking in the window. I held up the stick ready to beat the man. Holly and Mindy pulled me back from the window as the man climbed through the broken glass. I then could see Mindy was on the phone with the police. The man's hands were all cut up from the glass. We eventually managed to fend the guy off and he climbed back out of the window and ran. The cops caught him later and said he was pretty deranged. They had me help them go through David's cabinet, they said the man insisted his things were in the room and that he lived there. Going through David's closet I slowly came to realize that a lot of this stuff wasn't his. Two bags of clothes and a dirty backpack were stuffed in the bottom of the closet. It made me realize that this guy had been living in David's room for at least a little while. David wasn't able to tell us what was going on. He really did think he just had a new roommate. We moved David closer to a room closer to the nurse's station while his window was being repaired. I never heard anything else about the guy that broke in. I figured he was admitted to a mental hospital somewhere. Hopefully he got the help he needed.
All this wasn't enough to make me quit the night shift. I do take noises I hear a lot more seriously now. I started working at the hospital a couple months later and security is a lot tighter there. Dark hallways still make me uneasy to this day and I always find myself checking for open windows."

My main interests are either playing games with some friends on the PC, studying for future certifications and mainly what I do after work just kicking back and watching whatever random things I can find on YouTube (I aren’t a big TV person). I used to watch a lot of anime but I tend to drop out of it for a year and then I get back in to it then I lose interest again heh, it’s just a thing that I’ve been doing for years on end.
I am somewhat in to movies but I haven’t really properly watched any within the last year or so but if I was to give a rough genre, I’d say dark-ish movies with a grabbing story i.e. DC films and a here and there Marvel film (IW ftw!) I much more prefer it when the bad guy gets the upper hand and basically wins as close to that of Thanos basically.
My main music choices? Everywhere and everything. If my ears like it, then chances are I’ll most likely like it. I’d write down all the artists I follow right now but trust me it’d take too long to go over so it’d probs better to just share my Spotify playlist lmao. But to give a quick sum up I’d say its more around mixed genre, alt-rock basically.
I do also write my own stuff as well, but again like anime I do it for like 6 months then stop, then start a year later so eh it’s a pretty hit and miss hobby for me 😅

I currently own my own company which is currently under going some development but hasn't actually started as of yet (still looking in that area) but it will get there at somepoint!
Alongside my own company I’m also undergoing a project with a close friend of mine that we’re trying to pursue which is actually happening alongside the org itself so it's all looping togetherslowly but surely.

I'm looking for someone who's intrested in getting to know eachother, someone who's got my back and i've got theres, someone i can well essentially "grow" with and get to know, someone who's willing to put the effort in to get to know me and vice versa.I'd like said person to be able to hold a convoersation with me as i've been in too many instances where it's all been one sided convos with me basically putting in more effort than the other person but alas that's neither here nor there and hopfully I'll maybe find the person who would share that equal effort with me. Hello, y'all! My name is Paladin, and I had previously beat the world record for longest continuous TTRPG session in December at 440.5 hours, and we are going to do it AGAIN!This time playing Rappan Athuk from Frog God Games! Frog God Games also has agreed to help us this time around as well by giving things such as free merchandise and all their resources to setup the game with expanded content! The next world record marathon is going to be from July 1st to August 1st - playing 30 days!

"Many, many players have lost favored PCs delving into the depths of this dungeon, all the while giggling like children and having the time of their lives. Hundreds, if not thousands of players have combed the halls of Rappan Athuk over the years, seeking treasure and fame, making it one of the best-known dungeon locations the game has ever produced. Even players who have never entered its halls know the term: “Don’t go down the Well!”Simply said: this module is hard and deadly, really deadly. This game plays like Diablo meets Dark Souls meets DnD. The module does not hold punches, and neither are we. This game has a lot of darkness, gloom, doom, intense fights, a massive dungeon, and a true marker of what is a great adventure that reminds us all what it felt like to face off against our first skeleton or our first boss.
How Playing In This Type Of Game Will Work
The game will be played on Foundry, use Discord, and be streamed to Twitch- using video and voice. Video and headset is mandatory to join this game.Every 2 hours either the dungeon master or the party of players will switch and have a handoff over a break. Handoffs are mainstreamed with a tool to assist in ensuring that all the proper information is given between players or dungeon masters. During the game, additional roles will be given to the party to assist in keeping track of inventory, mapping out the dungeon, and writing recap information down to share with the whole group. We will use variant and homebrew rules to create an atmosphere of darkness and danger as we traverse the massive megadungeon that is Rappan Athuk- a module that is 59 areas big and 660 pages of brutal, awesomeness.
Player and Dungeon Master Signups
Signups start May 1st at 6 PM CSTThe game will feature 6 roles with 17 players allowed in each role and a total of 17 DMs. This averages out to about 2-3 games a week per person. Whenever signups open up, teams and groups up to 6 players will be first to signup in the first week, and they will get priority placement. After the first week of signups, individuals will then be able to signup to play the game.
Looking for People to Help Prepare This post is looking for either dungeon masters or players that are interested in joining in this adventure who can help to prepare it and get it ready by July! Surprisingly enough, we have most of the resources from the last marathon to piggyback off of, but we are still looking for Dungeon Masters or Players with unique skills and leadership capabilities to work along with us and the creators of the book, Frog God Games, to bring this marathon to the next level! To be quite fair, people that help prepare get priority for signups before anyone else which means that Dungeon Master spots will most likely be taken up unless they sign up to help prepare for the event as we already have 6 Dungeon Masters plus the 2 from Frog God Games joining, thus leaving a total of 9 spots left.If you are interested in meeting with me and learning more about what there is to do and how to help, please join my server and also add me personally. Seeing all these home charger posts made me go and check mine.
I opened mine up (Tesla gen 3 WC) and the electrician used 6 gauge as required for the two hot wires...... but only 10 gauge for the ground wire. I vaguely recall reading 6 AWG is required; I don't remember reading smaller wire is acceptable for ground wire but I don't know how electricity works.
I have had zero issues with charging but is this something I should take up with them?
