2023.03.22 06:27 h1nibun does macduff have his own 1:1?
i visited the mccitrick here in new york and quickly fell in love with the whole experience. even though it was my first time, i was lucky enough to get a 1:1 with matron lang (where i fed her two cups of tea!) and a smattering of intimate moments with other members of the cast.
try as i did, i couldn’t for the life of me figure out macduff’s path for most of the show but i adored the actor in the role. i was wondering then if macduff does have a 1:1 as part of the show? i followed him for half a loop before losing track and never saw him pull anyone aside.
beyond excited to hear from you all <3

2023.03.22 06:27 Tavi0022 tipping culture, I don't get it HELP
Where I come from we usually do not tip for anything. So tipping culture is a new universe for me, I feel awkward when doing it, I don't know how, how much or when to do it. For example let's say am at a fast food place like Wendy's, do I have to tip? Is it the 15-20%? At the supermarket do I have to tip? Or if am shopping at H&M? Do you tip or How much is a good tip in this kinds of situations, do I give it right away when I pay or say something. Help, this really confuses me and I'm going to new york on a trip :(

I cannot find where I should click to access the information of my sinners or their identities much less their egos, I have been scrolling and searching around and there is still no trace of where I need to click to be able to use the goddamn tickets much less look at their attack's stats. Please I genuinely can't find it.
PS: I don't think I'm using the flair right but it's the closest thing I could get beyond general discussion.

I've been watching Ashley since 2018 and I'm starting to wonder if her Youtube persona was just that somebody the complete opposite of who she actually is. Watching her go down this weird high-fashion Parisian new york girl has just had me feeling all sorts of wrong. I loved her content for literal years but man I can't imagine finding her now and liking anything she does.

We’re in the process of getting started with IVF, have changed clinics prolonging the journey but for a fraction of the price which takes the edge off our frustration. I just would love any advice or tips to A) keep sane!! B) help us finally succeed ❤️

With the right tools and design, real estate professionals can easily navigate through a comprehensive database of Dubai properties, gather valuable insights, and make informed decisions. In this blog post, we will discuss some key tips for building a user-friendly Dubai real estate database. Choose a Simple and Intuitive Design The first step in building a user-friendly Dubai real estate database is to choose a simple and intuitive design. A clean and organized layout will make it easier for users to navigate through the database and find the information they need. Use clear headings, subheadings, and labels to guide users through the different sections of the database. Focus on Search Functionality Search functionality is an essential feature of any real estate database. Users need to be able to quickly and easily find properties that match their criteria. Make sure your database has robust search functionality that allows users to search by property type, location, price, and other relevant criteria. Include High-Quality Images and Videos High-quality images and videos are a must-have for any user-friendly Dubai real estate database. Include multiple images and videos for each property, highlighting key features and amenities. This will give users a better sense of the property and help them make informed decisions. Provide Detailed Property Information Providing detailed property information is key to building a user-friendly Dubai real estate database. Include comprehensive information about each property, including square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, amenities, and any unique features. 2023.03.22 06:21 nyctrancefan Extend Lease, or Renew and Break/Transfer Later?
Hey everyone - I'm sort of cross posting this from
NYCapartments for more exposure/responses - please let me know if it's appropriate. Thank you!
I live in a nice 2 bed near the Barclays Center, paying 2800/mo total. Unfortunately, I'll be leaving the city this summer to go to Pittsburgh for school. My current lease
ends in May, but due to how I want to wrap things up with my current job and when school starts I'd prefer to
leave in August. I've lived in the Apartment for 1 year and 1 month and signed a 15 month lease. My roommate and I are clean, quiet, and always pay on time. Unfortunately I didn't have the foresight to sign a lease until August.
Having said that, my landlord notified me about renewing, with a new offer of 3500/mo total, which is interestingly what they tried to rent this place for before on streeteasy, before dropping it to 2800/mo that we are currently paying.
Would you guys have any suggestions as to the best way to extend my lease to August/stay until August? I am considering 2 options:
- Renew the lease and leave after August, transferring the lease to someone else/subleasing.
- Pros:
- If I tell the landlord I am renewing, then they will probably be willing to reduce the rent from 3500/mo.
- They will agree to a renewal but may not agree to an extension.
- It should be easy enough to find someone to rent this apartment as its in a nice area, with good amenities (Washer + Dryer in unit, close to new metal appliances, nice countertops etc.)
- Cons:
- Big risk of finding a subleasesomeone to take over the lease. If it ends up being a sublease and the person doesn't pay, I'm pretty much screwed (I think at least - have never subleased in NYC before).
- Explicitly ask for a lease extension until August.
- Pros:
- Less complicated/cleaner. Less risk on my end of getting bad subletters.
- Maybe I can convince them that they will get a better price in August? NYU Students? I doubt it though as they know the market better than I do
- Cons:
- Landlord may not agree to extension.
- If they do agree, they will probably make me pay the 3500/mo no matter what. They have no incentive to reduce the rent because they know I'll be gone in two months.
- If they don't agree, I'll probably have to renew + break the lease at 3500, as they won't be willing to negotiate down. E.g. there's an order of operations issue.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do here? I know it's a bit of an awkward situation so I appreciate any advice!

2023.03.22 06:19 KenneallysFunerals Everything You Need To Know About Negotiating With A Funeral Director
| No one wants to find himself or herself in a position of wanting to hire funeral directors Campbelltown. However, it can be inevitable. In your grieving time, most people aren’t willing to shop around and find the right director at the right price. When you add emotions, grief, and time constraints to a director saying funerals are not just about the dead, they are about the living. It is important to view directors as business people and not clergy members. Directors may also say that burying your loved one provides healing and support to the family. They are implying not to short-change the dead. A lot of consumer advocates will alert you that directors get paid for the costs associated with funerals. Also, as much as you pay them, directors will provide services that no one else would. Most people report that they healed from their grief after talking to directors. Directors are professionally trained to provide the mental and emotional support needed during the time of grief. It is still best to know how to negotiate with directors. Plan ahead When you plan in advance and purchase burial insurance to cover the costs of the funeral, you protect your family members from entering into bad deals. Not all directors are bad. In fact, most of them are good people but we have a few funeral directors that are just after your money. Planning ahead will ensure you find the right director. In your plan, you should create a budget for a funeral director. Make sure you research to know the average market price of hiring directors. This way, you will not come up with figures that are too low to hire a professional director. Make sure you stick to the budget to avoid overspending. https://preview.redd.it/4pzmpxwi68pa1.jpg?width=275&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=61212d6aeefe8c6e3af361688b562d7594253313 Negotiate the price Directors are understanding people. Most of them know that you need their support more than they need your money. They will listen to you. You should speak up and they will listen to you. Tell your director what you are willing to pay and how you wish to pay. Some directors will even allow you to pay in instalments. Summary of expenses Directors should give you a written price list for their services and products. The list should include the cost of basic services. All customers must pay this price which can range from five hundred dollars to five thousand dollars. It covers the professional services offered by the director and staff. It can also include permits, planning, death certificate copies, coordination with the crematory or cemetery, and so on. Know the funeral process If you want to get the best deal from funeral directors Campbelltown, you should know the funeral prices. There are three sides to understanding the process and the costs associated with a funeral – funeral services, funeral merchandise, and funeral cash advances. Funeral services include refrigeration, basic service of the director, embalming, body transport, church service, hearse transport, and so on. Funeral merchandise may include the casket, book, player cards and so on. On the other hand, funeral cash advances include church fees, funeral escorts, death certificates and more. submitted by KenneallysFunerals to u/KenneallysFunerals [link] [comments] |

I find it scummy that Big W has risen the price for SW&SH prices from $6 to $7. I thought they were at least going to keep those at $6 and anything from the new era at $7. Guess that was wishful thinking.

2023.03.22 06:18 HugeRichard11 Using The Train Walkthrough w/ Pictures
Seeing pictures I’m sure will help familiarize many planning on taking a trip or those that have fears of using the rail if it’s something new to you. Also I use the words train/metro/rail/subway rather interchangeably.
First off I’ll be using Google Maps for these, but the in-person principles for most apply the same on any other platform.
Part 1 https://imgur.com/T1lidhT When you start the route the first thing you need to figure out is where to enter.
Tip: The best way to do that is zoom into the starting point and sometimes Google will pinpoint where to enter a specific entrance.
In my picture you can see it tells me to enter also in the description via the Meiji-dori Ave exit which despite the wording can be used to enter and exit.
https://imgur.com/xldHjso Where you enter sometimes doesn’t matter as long as it contains the correct metro line you need. Which in my case I need the Ginza Line at Shibuya station. You will often find a good amount of signs at Tokyo stations telling you which metro lines are available in them.
https://imgur.com/9Ruevh8 https://imgur.com/jDbWiiF There you can buy a ticket to enter, but understand and I’ve only used this method once after landing in the airport. Is that you have to select the fare amount to in a sense “deposit” into this train ticket. As once you exit later is when the actual cost is accounted for.
Tip: Realistically most new people don’t know how to calculate this, so I recommend scrolling down on Google Maps for your route and it should tell you the actual total fare amount. Once you buy the ticket you can use it to go through the gate.
Note: I believe they only accept cash at least that is how it was for me at Haneda Airport
https://imgur.com/PJ5r3A1 The better option and is why I don’t know too much about the above method is simply using a Suica/Pasmo. I won’t go into them too much since they’re already covered pretty extensively in other threads, probably the FAQ too.
Note: There’s a problem with Visa cards sometimes for using it with Apple Wallet. I had trouble using my Visas, so I recommend adding a Mastercard or Amex to your Apple wallet before your trip. Which I fortunately added a dozen or so of my cards beforehand in case.
There’s also the JR Pass which operates similar to the ticket, but is unlimited for certain amount of days on JR Line rails. Again also covered extensively, so won’t go over that too.
Use the ticket by inserting it and make sure to grab it before leaving. Or use your Suica/Pasmo to get through the gate by tapping it on the giant part that has an “IC” on it.
https://imgur.com/LOM2Y8f https://imgur.com/551y5P9 Once in the station make your way to the train platforms by following the signs that tell you which direction to go for your specific metro line, which for me was the Ginza Line. I have more example pictures of the signs in the second part.
When you are finally at the train platform area usually there are two platforms, one on each side or more depending on the station. On the Google Maps image previously you can see it tells me to go to Platform 1/2 which means I can embark on either platform options.
https://imgur.com/Ad0RgA0 https://imgur.com/hfLxQ4g https://imgur.com/rxssM6p Make sure you are at the correct platform as some are separated and if the train comes and you’re at the wrong platform. You probably won’t have the time to get to the correct one and board the train.
Tip: The best way to make sure is look at the signs above. They will have the platform number along with other useful information such as which metro line is associated for the specific platform. For some more modern ones that have digital sign boards they contain the incoming trains for the platforms with their intended direction and time.
https://imgur.com/xD8eKl9 Note: You can see there are different kind of trains from rapid, express, and local. On Google Maps it mentions which kind it is, so make sure you get on the right one as the non-local trains will skip stops.
Once the train arrives there will be digital displays on the side of the train carts mentioning which direction / ending stop the train is heading for. Make sure it matches what Google Map for your route since a number of other trains will likely stop by too.
https://imgur.com/VCOjlLE On newer trains I’ve been on such as the Ginza Line they have big and detailed displays giving a ton of information of further stops. Some older trains will have a more pixelated singular line information display center.
Tip: The lines and station stops have specific circular logos. For Ginza Line you can see it’s a “G” inside an orange circle with the numbers representing the numbered station. On Google Maps it says to get off at G12 which I find these more straightforward than remembering the station.
https://imgur.com/JljmljX https://imgur.com/V3lCVaS Each stop it also displays which train cart you are in and where in the station are the exits for escalators, elevators, and restrooms. I don’t really pay attention to those parts since the crowd will more or less flow a certain way. Along with on the display are which doors will open.
https://imgur.com/PeYNuJz If you were using the ticket method and end up with a higher fare than you originally put on the ticket then you will need to do an adjustment at the machine.
https://imgur.com/qkNGY75
Part 2 At this point you successfully have used the rail to get where you want. However, if your trip is further with other trains then this will go into transferring to the next train which is simple.
When you get off the train you want to look at Google Maps to see which the next metro line you will need to go towards. I don’t bother with the Google Map walking directions for this part since there are a ton of signs directing you where to go.
https://imgur.com/0w3YtaT For this route you see I need to go to the Tozai Line. There will be overhead signs specifying the direction you need to go to
https://imgur.com/hI0cmxv There are multiple different signs directing you to the metro line platform every few steps including ones on the pillars, walls, and overhead signs. Simply follow the direction the arrows are pointing towards.
https://imgur.com/8NHO3pp https://imgur.com/eXnuZwF For some they have a giant board telling you of all the stops along with which platform is on each side.
https://imgur.com/69ZBIka For my train Google Map says I will need to Rapid train at Platform 3 that will transition to a different train while staying on board even after the last stop.
https://imgur.com/d8UjiAP Here it is best to confirm again, you are at the correct platform through the signs around you. Pay attention to the direction of which the station number it goes toward as T10 to T01 would not be what I wanted as that would be going backwards. In addition there are also mentions of which direction the train is going through signs on the wall.
https://imgur.com/GpJAdY1 https://imgur.com/0t7kuaS https://imgur.com/oG2Bqlw That ends it since the transfer is basically the same thing just longer. Hopefully you learned enough that you can read the Google Maps route info to see what is important. Things to focus on such as the intended ending stop that determines the direction, the station number icon, local/rapid/express, and mainly which platform you need to be at.
Additional Items - Things to be aware of such as train etiquette is recommended to follow. I noticed most trains are extremely quiet, many don’t talk and if they do it is at a low voice. Many commuters are usually on their phones or some are even napping or sleeping. So it would be recommended to be quiet to not bother others. In that same vein I would say people don’t eat or drink on the train either besides the bullet trains.
- People on the escalators stand on the left and walk/move on the right. If you plan to stand on the escalator while it moves stay on the left
- In many of the pictures you will see it shows the train cart number at the gate. Google Maps suggest certain carts to get on that might be less busy or easier to disembark. I don’t bother myself, but might be useful for others.
- Masks are generally from what I hear from Japanese people pretty recommended for wearing on the train since it’s an enclosed space near others.
- Trains generally get very crowded especially during certain hours or days, so if you plan on taking luggage with you regularly on the train it might be too cramped to do. Noted while still doable, might be rather uncomfortable to do. Though generally most do, but it’s often small suitcases if you got a massive one it might be better to do luggage forwarding through TAQ-Q-BIN.
- There are elevators often to get up to ground level. The overhead signs usually will point out where they are, but it can still be a hassle to find them.
- Goes without saying, but if you see an elderly person that looks like if they fall, they will die. You should give up your seat for them.
- Most stations have some kind of gate attendant there that can help if you have issues getting through the gate through some error or something.
- If you enter and exit the same gate it won't charge anything though sometimes errors out and you have the get the gate attendant to fix it for you.
- They are safe with tons of officers and attendants I notice just walking around or standing by.
- So far all of the ones I’ve been on have great A/C and heating.
- Most trains aren’t doing wild turns and what not that I noticed many regulars will just stand there and not hold onto anything.
- At least in Tokyo there are so many trains going the same way that if you miss your stop or train, or get on the wrong train, there will likely be another one in a few minutes so I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
- You can search on google maps the Metro Line to see all of its complete route and stops
Throw this disclaimer to say this is one specific case and i'm sure there are differences between others metros, locations, and whatnot. Posted this in my profile since it's not allowed in the subreddits

Genzandu is a nationally certified life coach with over 20 years of experience helping people achieve their goals. As a life coach, I work with clients to help them identify and understand their goals, develop a plan to achieve them, and manage stress and anxiety so that they can reach their full potential. My approach is personalized and tailored to fit your specific needs. I also offer a variety of services, including counseling, goal setting, and mindfulness training. I believe that every person has the ability to achieve. Certified Professional Life Coach in Virginia Coping strategies for overcoming negative self-talk Today I wanted to share a little bit about how to be kinder to yourself, an incredibly important skill that is not always easy to achieve. When you become accustomed to negative self-talk you must treat it like a habit to overcome it. What I mean by this is you have to first acknowledge that what you are doing is damaging and be more aware of when and why you say negative things to yourself. When you catch yourself criticizing yourself, pause and notice what is triggering such a response. Whether it has something to do with your appearance or because you made a mistake it’s important to understand what the cause is without judgment. This is part of the process of learning to respect yourself. Next, reflect. Write your thoughts down in a journal if it helps you identify these feelings. Now you can reframe your thoughts from a more informed and understanding perspective. Don’t say something to yourself that you would not say to someone else. Instead, focus on your positive qualities and strengths rather than your shortcomings. In other words, combat your negative thoughts with positivity. You are not expected to break a bad habit overnight. What’s more important is that you make a commitment to treat yourself better and remain patient with your progress. I hope this piece offers you some guidance and as always please feel free to reach out with any questions. How to develop self-acceptance A client recently asked me what self-acceptance is and why it is important. To put it simply, self-acceptance is the act of accepting your traits the way they are without the urge to change them. Self-acceptance impacts your emotional well-being and capacity to feel comfortable and happy in your own skin. So how can you practice becoming more accepting of yourself? - Write down what makes you unique. If you become stumped, make it fun for yourself and ask your loved ones what they think. This will help you generate ideas that will ultimately help you identify the qualities that you love about yourself.
- Be kind to yourself. Think about how you speak to the people you love and turn that dialogue to yourself. Replace negative self-thoughts with feelings of acceptance and love.
- Reflect on your weaknesses in a nonjudgmental way. While it’s important to focus on your strengths you have to accept all qualities of yourself to fully develop self-acceptance. So, ask yourself what you wish to improve on, and take it from there.
I hope these few tips will help you on your journey of self-acceptance and happiness. The benefit of setting smart goals for building confidence As we move into the new year it can be easy to fall into the trap of setting broad goals that we often let go of a few months later. To prevent this, I recommend you set SMART Goals that stand for specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely. Working towards specific, measurable goals provides direction and creates clear objectives. A clear plan of what you can do each day to make progress forces you to act. Once you see daily gains and improvements you stay motivated, which generates progress. Achieving SMART Goals is rewarding and helps build confidence. Any time you push yourself out of your comfort zone where you accomplish something new without becoming disheartened can greatly boost your confidence and outlook on the next big goal. All in all, as you are setting your new year's resolutions, focus on how you can mold them to be as specific as possible. 2023.03.22 06:16 aegeusss Personal Opinion on Notion's Recent Direction
As a three something years old Notion user I feel the need to share my thoughts on Notion's recent decisions and targets. The reason I am writing these down is to understand if there is someone else who shares my thoughts. The main idea of this topic, in short, is: I don't like Notion to turn into a B2B app rather than a B2C app as it was in the first place as a common user.
Let me explain; as a non-technical guy who uses these kind of apps for both personal and small business needs, I remember in the old days how Youtube content creators would promote Notion as a complex note taking app. They would compare it with other note taking apps like Google Keep, Roam, Obsidian, Apple Notes etc. It was always about unique users; how one person could use it as a note taking and productivity tool and as a simple database app etc.
But then something changed along the way and Notion management started pushing new features which are commonly used by big teams and corporations; like (Teamspace developments, Slack, Zapier integrations; Cron purchase etc. Even pricing schemes are based on user count) And while doing these, they have willingly ignored basic requests like Google Calendar integration, offline support or 2FA for everyday users like me.
Look, I did not come to Notion for this in the first place. Don't get me wrong; of course, it is Notion's decision where will this ship head to; if they want to make money on selling a product to companies, fine; I get it; there is more money there. But I got on this ship thinking it was going somewhere else. At some point if the captain of the ship would change the course without telling me and decided ignoring my requests for a better personal use, then I will have to abandon this ship in the near future, sorry.
(And this is not a danger only for me; I can see that well known Notion promoters like Marie Poulin, Thomas Frank, Red Gregory will have to leave this app in the near future because this app is converting something into a big, complex programming language where it will only be used in the future by professional coders like Phyton, Pearl, Ruby etc. It's not a toy of the man on the street any more. To iterate again, I am a non technical guy and started using this app due to it's simplicity yet complexity in a level I can understand and implement; that level gone up to far now; I can't even follow new features regularly let alone I learn and implement them for my personal needs.)
To end my thoughts, in my eyes, Notion is the new big devil company for me; as a simple and long term user guy, I am not their main goal anymore; they are not trying to satisfy my personal needs since I am not a big company to pay them well on an enterprise plan; so I understand my number one personal requests like Google Calendar integration, offline support or 2FA may never come to this platform. And I am not even talking about the general slowness of the app which is getting worse after the implementation of AI and charging AI separately other than user's paid plan :))))
I am relived now to have said this all; I will look for alternatives; these are my personal thoughts anyway.

2023.03.22 06:16 PoppyToffee Someone shared on a subreddit today about their decision to have their unpredictable and dangerous but beloved dog behaviorally euthanized. I have something to say.
The mods predictably shut comments down, as this topic is polarizing, but as a professional dog trainer, I had this to say. I wanted a to reach a larger audience so I'll share this here.
I commend you and respect your decision more than you know. I've been a balanced trainer for almost two decades, anvjhh it's one of my biggest hopes that we will see the stigma surrounding behavioral euthanasia will lift because I don't have enough fingers and toes to equal the number of times I've weighed and laid out for owners and concluded that BE was the kindest, most responsible, and most of all, the RIGHT choice. Because these dogs, and before anyone gets sand in their ass crack about it (and I would hope my fellow honest professional dog trainers will back me up on this), the majority of which are pit bull type dogs, must meet certain criteria to meet that places them snugly in the category of "Irreparable - Too Dangerous". For anybody with logic, the pit bull and it's close cousins are bred for fighting and bull baiting or hunting. It's just common sense that a type of dog created for that type of activity are going to have alheightened aggression. Terriers in general were all need for one reason, and that is to kill. Every single breed. And they're all quite scrappy anyway. To have a dog that possesses this as a genetic trait takes accepting and rearranging your life and learning to keep people safe from your dog and vice versa.
It's not a decision that I take lightly (although when I come to a conclusion it is made there on the spot - it's very easy to assess what you should do with a dog in terms of training or medication, and of course, BE. And I'm not biased in terms of being heavy handed when I give them my professional opinion, it doesn't matter the breed. I have told owners of 5lb dogs that unless they were willing to put up with it, that was on them, but that my recommendation is that they elect for behavioral euthanasia. I had a couple of veterinarians in area the area whose numbers I'd provide them with who were willing to perform the operation, because a surprising number of vets will not help ease the mental pain suffered by a dog who cannot voice it's anguish. As long as it is physically healthy, it shouldn't be out to sleep, is their logic.
But a life spent constantly tense, in a perpetual state of hypervigilance, finger snap personality changes, anxious, told by your brain something is wrong and the answer is violence, or just being true to it's nature as a dog, which is where a dog is just wired to carry out the cycle of predation; locate , stalk, chase, bite, maul, kill. This genetic trait can be more problematic to ever solve since it is a self rewarding behavior; tack that on a breed already predisposed to genetic aggression and you can have a dog that is far too dangerous for anyone less than a seasoned trainer to ownand those types of unicorn homes with no other dogs, other animals, kids, frail people, or close neighbors and are super vigilant when they're out tnd anal retentive when it comes to keeping the dog contained securely are as rare as their namesake. Part of our job as canine professionals is to not only evaluate and trainer a dog, it is also to make sure you are not putting everyone in the community in danger. Even if your dog "just" kills the neighbors cat, it wasn't "just" a cat to them just as your dog isn't "just" a dog to you. That cat was family to somebody.
Scenario:Now imagine you didn't rationalize that your dog killing something without provocation. Your dog is out of control. You consult with a trained professional (say, me). We talk and establish that your dog checks of the majority of the boxes in the section marking candidates for BE.
You allow the trainer to see the dog in it's home environment, in it's territory (a short 5-6 blocks up and back around and back (hopefully coming across some triggers so I can observe and see if it is manageable, and in an unfamiliar place, where we get in the car and drive somewhere the dog has never been and observe the behavior then, then assess the owners training and management ability. A weak or incompetent trainer simply is not acceptable and not everyone is good with animals. They simply cannot read body language, pick up cues, expert enough authority over the animal, or effectively communicate with the dog in a way it will understand, or come across to me as chronically irresponsible, lazy, wilfully ignorant and refuse to take direction, too constitutionally weak to handle a dog that represents a safety concern, that is all take into consideration when I offer you my final decision. Behavioral euthanasia is the best and kindest option and that I can walk you through it. I help you to understand it is not a failure on your part, or what you could or shouldn't have done. Sometimes a dog just isn't wired right. It could seriously hurt or kill someone including you in the blink of an eye. Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't, and when a clear pattern of dangerous behavior. Every single owner of a dog that seriously injures or kills someone says "But he never did that before."
You decide to disregard this advice, thinking it cruel or evil, or thinking I'm taking the lazy way out, question the trainers integrity and judgment and skill because "So-and-so from YouTube doesn't give up on his clients. All dogs can be fixed, I just need a different trainer, a better trainer
I see you around on FB, your feed is a continuous documentary of your catastrophic attempt to own and safely manage a dog that's a walking time bomb; " Today Zeus almost killed another dog for no reason at the dog park today. I just don't understand we've been working with trainers and he was doing pretty good, he even played with this same dog last week now I'm asking for prayers for all of us"
You almost don't want walk him anymore, but he needs to go out, right?
The walk is lovely until you turn the corner and uh-oh! Zeus literally turns you into a human kite soaring along behind you as it pursues a particularly tasty child with their faithful object of your dogs fixation originally. It tears the into other dog, being at eye height, the child is severely bitten, mauled or even killed. Yes, it happens. At least once in the 60 ish on average canine inflicted deaths in my country, the US.
When I recommend BE, it is for the sake of the dogs mental health because a life of severe neuroses you neither understand nor can explain, or spend you life doped to the gills under lock and key 24/7, or warehoused and forgotten to languish and take up teousrces for years. You should ALWAYS be present during the euthanasia of your pet, even if it breaks your heart. One, because you need to be there to provide emotional support and hold your dog while they administer the sleepy time juice. And if you don't stay with your animal and leave it anxious and confused to be PTS in the already stressful vets officer, you're a dick, full stop.
AND AND AND. You also NEED to be there and see for yourself that your dog really has passed on, check for a pulse when the vet announces TOD to you. There really are vets out there who will go as far as deeply sedating a dog when an owner they gauge naive enough to have their dog pumped full of enough anesthesia to knock out a horse and it suppresses respiration, they tell the owner the dog is gone and sneak it out the back door to take home because again, they're ARAs, which is much different than the superior support of Animal Welfare. If you're not there for the procedure, there is a high chance of some do gooder who just takes the dog and flips it and puts it in some random home, where oftentimes someone is hurt severely.
ATTENTION: Did you know there are only two freaking states in the entire US where it is *required by law for shelters to give the dogs bite history to you?* That's right, 48 states don't have to tell you your new pet was in the shelter for almost ripping the previous owners kis face off. Sickeningly, there is even a "nom-profit charity" called "The Lexus Project" who devotes MILLIONS to slimeball lawyers whose purpose is to represent dogs who have SEVERELY hurt or killed people, one such famous case is with Mickey pit bull in Arizona who almost ripped his owners young kids face off because he was a resource guarder. People blamed the kid for a dogs bad behavior and they came and the mayor of some town nearby adopted the mutt and gave it a lavish life while anti human pit worshippers sniffed his farts for rescuing a "poor innocent pibbles tortured into having to fight for his life from an evil six year old". It's pretty sick and you can Google it; it's pretty bizarre and sick to me. Most of the dogs are, surprise... Pit bulls.
The reason I never advocate rehoming these dogs, not only is it irresponsible as fuck to place a dog whose unpredictable aggression is so bad that a loving owner decided it wasn't safe to have anymore, but again you have to weigh the risk to a community. Sometimes even one attack is enough to take a life.
It's a difficult choice to make. Don't beat yourself up. You are releasing your dog from it's mental prison and taken a lot of anxiety and stress surrounding your dog lifted from not only yourself but the entire community. I'd suggest finding a reputable breeder next time who knows what they're doing mixing genetics and breeding anomal

Phish, Monday 03/22/1993 (30 years ago) Crest Theatre, Sacramento, CA, USA
Gap Chart, Tour: 1993 WinteSpring Tour
Set 1 : Chalk Dust Torture , Guelah Papyrus , Uncle Pen , Stash , Bouncing Around the Room , Rift , Weigh > Reba , Sparkle > David Bowie 1
Set 2 : Golgi Apparatus , It's Ice > The Lizards > Tela > Wilson > AC/DC Bag > Colonel Forbin's Ascent > Fly Famous Mockingbird > The Sloth > McGrupp and the Watchful Hosemasters , Mike's Song > I Am Hydrogen > Weekapaug Groove
Encore : Amazing Grace 2 , Fire
1 Simpsons, Oom Pa Pa, Random Note, and All Fall Down signals in intro. 2 Without microphones.
Jamchart Notes:
Reba - Really fluid and laid-back jamming, with Trey all but absent (relatively speaking), as if inciting the others to respond. This results in an all but total dialing down of the sound. Not so much a secret language, as a testament to the band, who, via subdued and nuanced playing, manage to maintain the structure of the jam before Trey works through a series of cool rhythmic shifts and wonderful sustain to arrive at the "note."
It's Ice - Band uses the jam as a segue for a performance of the entire suite of Gamehenge songs, one of only 5 such performances. Unfinished.
Show Notes:
Trey and Mike teased Fire (Ohio Players) in Stash. The Bowie intro contained Simpsons, Oom Pa Pa, Random Note, and All Fall Down signals and Mike teasing Sailor's Hornpipe and briefly Split Open And Melt. The second set included Gamehendge narration in between songs from It's Ice through McGrupp. This was the first Gamehendge since October 13, 1991 (193 shows). Trey teased Johnny B. Goode in AC/DC Bag. Weekapaug contained a Sundown tease from Mike. Amazing Grace was performed without microphones.

Encore : Magilla , Golgi Apparatus
1 Aborted twice. 2 Vocal jam partially based on burgers. 3 Vocal jam in intro.
Jamchart Notes:
Run Like an Antelope - Really good and unsual vocal jam in the intro, followed by a pugnacious jam with sick Mike and Trey.
Show Notes:
This show started with bad sound problems, resulting in the band aborting two attempts at a Chalk Dust Torture opener. After the first Chalk Dust failed, the band said a round of "thank yous" and Fish added "good night, we'll see you next time." Antelope contained a vocal jam in the intro and a Jean Pierre tease from Trey. YEM contained Who Knows teases. The YEM vocal jam was partially based on burgers. Before Terrapin, Fish was introduced as "the late Henrietta," and then commented that he is no longer Henrietta, but has not yet thought of a new name. He and Trey introduced Chris Kuroda (as "Cooter," with a "Charge!" tease) and Colorado fan "Erik the Viking." Terrapin included a brief Whole Lotta Love jam. Weekapaug contained a Theme from Bonanza tease by Trey.

2023.03.22 06:14 ThatBlackKid69 [Toronto, ON] [H] 6700 XT, finalmouse TenZ s, ViewSonic ELITE XG240R 24" 144Hz, VS550 PSU, AOC 21.5" 75Hz, Broken RX480 4GB [W] Cash, PayPal
Hey there, I have quit gaming altogether and have no need for these items anymore. They are in great condition except for the RX480 which is for parts only and not working. The prices listed here are asking price but I am willing to consider reasonable offers.
This model is MSI Mech 2x and it's brand new as far as I can tell, I bought it used about 2 months ago and runs flawlessly, never overclocked or mined. Apex was pretty much glued to the FPS cap (240).
- finalmouse Starlight Pro Tenz small: $350 Timestamp
This mouse is cross-listed with
MouseMarket so it is first come first serve basis. There really is nothing to say about this mouse except that it's awesome, also in pristine condition. No nicks, scuffs, scratches, double clicking, or any scroll wheel issues.
- ViewSonic ELITE XG240R 24" 144Hz TN: $200 Timestamp
This is a high end TN panel, bought back in 2020. It has good viewing angles for a TN panel and really fast response times. Has one dead pixel that is not noticable, otherwise this monitor is in great condition. No HDR but has good brightness and Dynamic Contrast Ratio, and absolutely 0 ghosting or smearing. Also has FreeSync Premium.
Less ketchup and mustard. Plenty enough to drive low/mid-range systems and is 80+ certified.
Nothing crazy here, just a basic office monitor with a less awesome stand than the ViewSonic one, also has basic FreeSync for some reason. Item is in fair condition.
- Broken Sapphire Nitro+ RX480 4GB:
$50 $25 Timestamp
FOR PARTS ONLY, not sure how it died. It seemed to overheat while I was playing and just failed permenantly, fans don't spin on boot-up and no signal. Could be used for cooler or other PCB components.

2023.03.22 06:13 JoeDKat New TW200 for 5'7" 140 LB male in Western Colorado - Smart or Dumb?
tl;dr: Looking for best "jack of all trades" dual sport for someone new to this type of motorcycle, fairly short and average weight dude in Western Colorado, seeking to ride on a little bit of everything (some street, mostly trail / off-road, etc). Leaning towards TW200. TIA
Howdy y'all. I am sure the veterans of this subreddit have seen this question countless times, but I was hoping for some insight a bit more specific to my situation if at all possible. I've been looking into dual sport for a bit, and as far as my needs and price range goes, the TW seems like a solid choice. It'd be my first dual sport, I've only ever ridden 200+/- cc dirt bikes and a 220cc scooter.
I hear the TW is fairly good for newbies, too. I would be primarily riding in off road and trails, sometimes through town, however, some good spots to visit would require hopping onto SH 92 and SH 65 (and beyond) with 65+ MPH speed limits. Would I have trouble on the highway? From what I've read and watched, it sounds like I'd be okay.
That being said, I am open to any ideas. The used market in my area seems fairly limited. I am willing to pay a bit more for something that'd be better, but I also keep hearing that this likely won't be my forever bike, so I apparently shouldn't go all out and get something like an expensive scrambler or Ténéré even though they seem absolutely incredible. I've also heard good things about the DR650S, the DR-Z400S, the KLR650, the KLX300, and the CRF300L... lol. It's a bit much for a newbie and I'd love to hear some additional opinions and insights.
I guess I'm kinda being too hopeful and seeking something that may not exist, something that would be perfect on the street, off road, and trails while also being able to go a fair distance (though that part is somewhat negotiable, I know adv bikes are better for distances on pavement). I just really want to get back into riding and exploring again.
Thanks in advance, sorry for the big post.

2023.03.22 06:13 coda514 Are the bigshots at Adobe the smartest people at the party?
I'm not commenting whether its good or bad but you have to admit, from a business standpoint its pretty smart. Hey, we're gonna let you sell your AI art on our site ~Adobe Stock. So we agreed and submitted work. Hey we're gonna use images you submitted to Adobe stock to train a model for our new Image generator software. ~Adobe Firefly. Which gave them a pretty sizable and diverse set of images to scrape, for free if I understand correctly? If Firefly lives up to its promised features it looks like a game changer, which takes some doing with the speed at which AI art generation moves. Thoughts?
