2023.03.31 18:29 Big-clock19 Adjustments to make the game fun

I feel - and I'm sure I'm not the only one- that the game is getting repetitive and boring after a while. Cards are useless after 2 months, all players have the same team and every game feels the same. So here are some changes I would like to see:
-Make scoring under the rim easier and add fouls and free throws more often.
-Prime players will lose power instead of gaining if there are 2 or more in the same team. (1 prime player per team).
-Add an alley oop button or make it easier for all players.
-Add more signature moves and make it easier for players to make those signatures moves (ex. Kareems skyhook, eurostepping etc)
-Spin and move dunks. (If you spin around a player he will layup despite being wide open and close enough to dunk.
-Go slower with the pwr increase so cards are valuable for a longer time.

2023.03.31 18:25 Kokachin23 DH treats me and our BD differently than BM and SS(9) and told me I’m insecure with BM

I’ll try to make this short as possible. My DH always think that I am very insecure with his ex-wife. Maybe or maybe not, I wonder where it’s coming from. Me and DH has been together for almost 3yrs now and married for a year. Recently I sold my house and DH wanted to merge our finances. I am fine with it except that he never wants to save money which makes me nervous. I have access to his bank account and credit card. The main point of my post is I feel like DH is treating me unfairly when it comes to finances because he gives BM whatever she wants. He recently gave up his rights on claiming their son in his taxes, they switch every year. As his wife I feel like he should have talked to me about it first but he just made the decision with BM so she can be happy. Now BM enrolls SS on all this extra curricular activities and DH will just say yes with everything she does and never tells me that he owes her $$$ every month now for the tuition until I see it in his bank statements. I feel like I have the right to know everything that’s going on since its my money too. I recently made DH sign an agreement with BM about the tax return since it’s in exchange that he doesn’t have to give her any CS every month. That is to protect him from getting a court order for back pay. DH didn’t want to give it to BM and thought that it was a stupid idea but talked to her about it. Because BM doesn’t want to have any conflict with me, she voluntarily printed and signed it because DH refused to give it to her to sign. DH makes 3x as much as I make and he pays for all extra stuff for SS (tuition, medical,dental). I recently just had a baby (6weeks ago to be exact) tho I have a really good insurance but still got a $2600 bill. I asked DH to help me pay for it but he told me that I should pay all of it overtime. I am also paying for our insurance. I make $49k and he makes $165k. I told him he always say yes to BM whenever she asks him for money, why is it so hard to even help me and BD’s hospital bills? His answer was i’m just very insecure with her. Am I wrong for feeling like I’m getting treated unfairly?

Is it just me or does the new tacky version of a “silver border” combined with the fact that the cards seem to be much thinner make me feel like I am buying knock-offs? I even pulled a full art Koraidon ex on my first pack and it looks and feels so…shitty… So unimpressed with how the cards look.

2023.03.31 18:00 Ancient-Guide I'm disappointed that I won't get to watch his life fall apart

An ex partner and ex friend who asked for so much emotionally and financially of my entire friend group. We considered him a close friend for years and supported him without question. If he needed something we helped - letting him barrow cars for months at a time, finding him jobs after he'd lose his last one, paying for surgeries, giving him places to stay, paying his rent when he was short, taking him on trips with the group even when he couldn't pay, including him in activities because we considered him our friend. I don't regret helping him, and I know all of us would have done those things for anyone else in the friend group - We take care of our friends.
We all moved in together, and he kept picking fights with everyone in the group, ignoring house rules, and generally causing tension in our home. We went to him as friends, had constructive conversations that he seemed to take well, but at some point he decided we were bad friends and that he didn't want to live with us or continue friendships. He called the police on us, accused one of us of assault, and has played the victim card to the extreme. He's made the last 6 months absolutely miserable.
We've all cut contact, and I'm so glad he's out of my life, I only wish I could watch his life crash and burn. And I won't have to lift a finger for karma to come crashing in. I'm confident he won't be able to hold a job long term, and his current position will catch him with a drug test sooner or later anyway. When he loses his job he'll lose his car, his apartment, his dog. He's never been able to save money, he literally spends every cent on weed. He'll have to move back home to a family he hates and a state he hates more. He's going to be miserable, he killed all of his friendships in one blow and I hope he lives a long time to suffer the consequences of his actions for once.
