The main reason I choose to wait is because the connectivity is a bottleneck. First gen only has Display Port 1.4, so max HDR 10bit framerate is 157 Hz (Unless display stream compression works on DP 1.4?) .
Otherwise, second gen seems like we can expect much higher brightness and slightly higher refresh rate. I wouldn't expect it far behind the TV release... but these seem like very different panels?
Fingers crossed for higher pixel density (110 Pixels Per Inch is not great) and improved screen coating

I started a permanent job some months ago and after being there for sometime, I realised that the work wasn't a great fit for me as the work was very different from what I thought I was going to be doing. To add to all this I was also experiencing some discrimination at the new workplace, all of which made me miserable and depressed and so I decided to leave. I took sick leave for a few weeks for the sake of my mental health and in the meantime let my first job know that I would be leaving the job soon.
I started looking for other jobs, and I found a new job which was a contract role. The problem is that the second job I just got has a rule that states I cannot be working for any other company. I agreed to this as I had already decided to leave the first job, so I didn’t think there would be any issues, however after checking my contract, I realised that my notice period was much longer than I anticipated which means that my contract at the first job doesn't end till after the new job starts.
For example, lets imagine that my new job started on the 15th February and that the old contract ends on the 20th February so there is 5 days overlap between the two jobs contract starting and ending.
I've already given my notice to the first company, so I won't be working for the first job anymore, but I am worried because the contract for the first job ends after the new job starts and the second job stipulates that my contract must have ended before starting with the new company.
Can I just start the new job (on the 15th) despite the fact that my old contract wouldn't end till the 20th? I’ve already given notice at the old place and accepted the new job, so I can't reverse either of the dates. Is there a possibility that the new employer will find out about this from HMRC as it is a contract job?
I'd appreciate anyone's advice. Thanks

Hi all.
I've been using some online calculators and reading articles for the past half hour, but I'm not the best with numbers and angles and haven't figured out the the exact formula I need to use to determine the minimum board length I will need for my rafters. Wondering if someone on here could take a minute and help.
I'm planning to build a 10x10 shed this summer.Width from outside to outside including wall sheathing will be 10ft+1/2" (120-1/2 inches). Rafters will be 2x4's connected with self made OSB gussets. I plan to use an 8:12 or 10:12 pitch and have a one foot overhang.
Knowing the width, desired roof pitch and overhang length, what formula do I use to determine the length of 2x4 I will need?

Just tweak the numbers. Instead of wolves starting off doing no damage, and legendaries giving them 150% damage, start wolves on say 30% damage, and make legendaries add another 30% for example (double damage is pretty awesome, why do I need more than that?)
150% is completely unnecessary... I fact I'd say if you are having to put anything more than 100% ANYEHERE, then you've done it wrong (clearly imbalanced the game somewhere for you too need to add such a high damage multiplier to fix it)

Been together for 14 yrs married for almost 5. When my partner proposed to me a month later I found explicit messages between him and my now sister in law (then brothers girlfriend). The ‘friendship’ was founded on the mutual mistreatment from mine and my brothers parents. We grew up in a strict catholic household and parents found it difficult to accept the idea of dating and independence in fear of us breaching our morals. This had a massive affect on both my brother and I, our sense of self and low self esteem. So I feel when I faced the discovery of the emotional cheating between our partners that went on for two years, not only was it a extreme shock that my naive self was not prepared to process, I was not equipped to be emotionally strong about the situation and walk away. I had already fought tooth and nail against my parents to allow my relationship to grow without their interference, to the point where I didn’t want to lose my relationship for my parents to say ‘I told you so’. So I convinced myself to push through it. The trauma I suffered lingered. We were young and never dealt with it wholeheartedly. After confronting my partner and brothers partner, things turned sour. My partner started out sorry and understanding to telling me to make a decision to either get over it or get on with it. My brothers partner was apologetic but too proud and started to do things to push me away from my brother because of her shame I guess. My brothers self esteem issues would never allow him to be the one to stand up to her and she knew she could get away with anything. The next few years of my life were hell. I forced myself to forgive and push forward with my long term relationship. We got married. In hard times my paranoia showed. In good times I was masking my insecurities caused by the trauma. Over time, we all matured, addressed the tension with my sister in law after she married my brother and agreed we needed to put the pettiness aside. My parter and I achieved great things together. I still considered my partner my bestfriend, and buried my feelings from the trauma as much as I could…until we had a baby. I suffered from post natal depression and after what it had done to me, my resentment resurfaced. I felt after all I went through he didn’t deserve me. I felt all the unresolved trauma resurfaced. I was having severe mental breakdowns and one day when I had an altercation with a manager at work I contacted the employee help line where I came across the most incredible therapist who picked up from the incident that I had deeper unresolved issues and a tendency to fawn at problems. I felt extremely comfortable discussing my trauma with the therapist that I continued sessions for months. It got to the point where she suggested couples therapy to better our situation and address the issues at the core to help strengthen our relationship. When I raised that with partner he was more than willing to revisit our past and help. As it became real and a date was locked in, he started to make excuses. I could feel his panic to air out dirty laundry with a complete stranger. After a few quabbles we eventually agreed. I felt him pull away from me and his demmeanor change. I grew suspicious of his behaviour and one day decided to check his phone - to find he had started to talk to my sister in law in private messages again. Not so explicit but continuing to bash my parents and their treatment, explaining how things have been terrible for us. I confronted him, and said that the whole reason we are doing this is for me to heal from the exact thing you just started up again. Mind you I am currently pregnant with his second child!!!
We dragged our feet to this session where I spilt everything from beginning to end. Session was ineffective, generic and obviously not ground breaking but I felt cathartic in getting everything off my chest. I almost felt okay with what happened the first time, that I had to focus on what just happened with the messaging I found most recently. The breach of trust after marriage. After that session we fell into a darker place. My partner continued secret conversations which grew inappropriate and explicit. Discovering these messages shattered my heart. Heavily pregnant and a daughter that could sense her mother was not okay. I have been distraught but doing my best to carry on for her. My husband claims he lapsed because he’s struggling to face the trauma, and he feels discovering I have been unhappy most our marriage makes him feel like it was all a waste. He started to resent me for making the decision to marry him and felt everything we ever did was a farce. He said it pushed him to the point where he didn’t care anymore. Didn’t care about upholding marriage vows, didn’t care about betraying me or my feelings, didn’t care about me being pregnant. He just felt numb and self destructive and even suicidal. That scared me to my core.
I tried to explain that what I was dealing with was unresolved trauma, and even though I had insecurities and negative thoughts, our entire relationship was not a waste. I still had love, I still wanted to be with him, I was just dealing with internal demons that I needed to face.
I am considering trying to work through my marriage because of my marriage vows, my children and the mental state of my husband. I doubt anyone has made it this far but If you made it this far thanks for listening.

It seems like we have been hearing rumors about Grand Theft Auto 6 since the beginning of time, though in reality, it has only been almost that long. If you were hoping for some clarity with a release finally being around the bend, well, brace yourself—we could be in for several more years of rumors, not just weeks or even months.
Naturally, the folks at Rockstar Games are not offering up any juicy tidbits about the inevitable release. So everything we know, or think we know, has come by way of leaks and rumors. To that end, multiple leakers are reporting that GTA 6 might not come out until 2024 or even sometime 2025. As things stand right now, YouTuber Tom Henderson says the next version of GTA is very early in development.
Henderson notes that, historically, he has not been associated with GTA leaks (he's been more plugged into the Battlefield scene), but the information he shared in a YouTube video is based on what he has heard from multiple sources. He is not the only one that is hearing GTA 6 is still several years away from being released, either.

Given the success of GTA Online, it seems Rockstar Games might not be in a rush to push out another major release. At the same time, it's said the developer is focusing "very heavily on employee well being," which in part means avoiding the crunch that precedes a game's release. However, there is at least one other factor at play as well.
It's said GTA 6 will launch on PC and the latest generation game consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S). By taking its time in releasing GTA 6, Rockstar Games will have a much wider audience of compatible console owners to drum up sales. And while not mentioned, the same could be true in the PC space, as hopefully discrete GPUs will be plentiful again by the the time GTA 6 arrives.
As for the setting, Henderson says GTA 6 will in fact mark a return to Vice City. Rockstar Games may opt to add more locations to the map over time (post launch), but it looks like a modern take on Vice City is headed to the GTA universe.
Given how much we had playing Grand Theft Auto V when it came to PC several years ago (and still holds up today), we're excited to see what GTA 6 brings to the table, even if it means waiting another 3-4 years.

So I recently bought a house that had the bathroom "upgraded"...few months later I notice the shower grouting on some out of site area of the tile was never really finished. I was wondering why my drain smelled so bad - washed it out with vinegar and baking soda multiple times, poured boiling water down it....and now I see the smell actually came from in between the tiles where grout was just FORGOTTEN. I am kind of angry but I guess I need to just figure out how to fix it.
What is the best grout to use for this area if I were to do it myself? It's quite a large gap like one inch thick. I was also planning on sealing the tile and grout for the shower floor because I don't trust the previous owners to have done so (or even used the right grout to be honest).
Also since water has been getting under the tiles - do I need to take it apart and clean it?
