UPDATE: The longer my posts stay up, the more trouble I can get into. There are forces at play in this situation that I cannot talk about but I'm not sure how long this post will stay up. Please, for God's sake, spread awareness about it while you can.
Yesterday, that is March 28 2023, was the second day of IPCW's annual fest, Shruti.
The first day had gone amazingly and our spirits were high. We had spent hours making plans about what to wear, what to buy, and what to eat. We were so happy about the concert that would happen at the end of the day.
When I think of how happy me and my friends were yesterday morning, I feel absolutely shattered. We are terrified now. Our rights are being stripped away. Our safety has become a joke. Our college has suddenly transformed from a safe space for women to a dictatorial space where the administration does not give a shit about student's safety.
It began around 3 PM when the gates were scheduled to close. A large crowd of HUNDREDS gathered outside the college premises. They were getting agitated, shoving each other, and before we know it, the gates were PUSHED wide open.
The crowd was so bad that for a solid 15 minute period, people could not close the gates. No checking could be done. Anyone who pleased, without any checking or passes or safety, invaded our college campus.
Students were trampled in the stampede. Many suffered from fractured bones. Student Union members were manhandled. Word on the street is that one of them has been injured so badly that she will need surgery. People had to be rushed to the nearby hospital in stretchers, wheelchairs, and ambulances.
Multiple women were inappropriately touched. People attempted to tear off their clothes. So many women fainted from the trauma of being trampled and molested.
If that was not enough, the men did not stop. Drunk and high men started scaling our walls. They attempted to break a second entry gate at the back of the on-campus hostel to invade our space further. We saw men emerging from the back lawns of the hostel after climbing up the walls.
Sounds terrible? It was. But it only gets worse.
Once the college authorities realized that the crowd was unmanageable (the police arrived extremely late to the scene, obviously), their plan of action was WONDERFUL— lie to students that the fest has been cancelled to force them out of the college.
Expectedly, most of these rowdy men did not bother listening to orders but a large proportion of women were thrown out of our campus and into the streets where large crowds of uncontrolled men were still around.
Hostel women were forcefully locked into the hostel building "to ensure their safety". Because locking women is obviously easier than finding and controlling the perpetrators, right? Drunk and high men continued to roam around the campus for hours while the faculty and police officers tried searching for them in vain.
Pictures were circulated of these men to no avail. Our college campus has always been a safe haven for women. Suddenly, we were being warned to travel in groups and stick to the crowded areas. It was a woman's worst nightmares come true, all in one day.
Apparently, a second year student got really badly molested during this entire incident. I can only pray that that poor girl recovers from the trauma of this all some day.
Oh, and the cherry on top? After all, the concert continued. Most IPCW women could not attend, of course, because we were thrown out of our own college. Some who had stuck around for 4-5 hours outside the college and others who lived in the off-campus hostel were allowed re-entry. But a large majority could not enjoy their own fest.
Who could enjoy under such circumstances anyway? Me and my friends spent the entire evening sticking close to our department's teachers because it was just so difficult to shake off the fear and violation we were experiencing.
Obviously, after all the mismanagement, our principal had the audacity to dance and celebrate during the concert, the injured and traumatized be damned. Few weeks of her new administration and our college is already turning into a right wing space— our walls are being painted saffron, our logo has been changed, the college's apolitical identity is being stripped away, and now this institute has utterly failed to keep its own students safe.
Do you think the story ends here? Because I wish it did.
Today, that is March 29 2023, we, the students of IPCW, organized a peaceful protest outside the college premises in light of the outrageous events that had transpired the day before. We wanted to be heard. We wanted to reclaim our safe space. We demanded answers from the administration that had failed us so badly.
But our right to assemble and demonstrate peacefully was also stripped away from us.
The same institution that could not arrange adequate security yesterday to ensure our safety had arranged for officers from the police force and paramilitary to be present today. Peacefully protesting students were manhandled by the women officers and have now been detained.
This is a cry for help. Please be aware of what is happening in one of the finest universities of this country. Please be aware of how women are being stripped of their rights and their dignity is being utterly violated in their safe spaces. Please be aware of how the administration has been failing us again and again and again.
Please be aware.

I was just on another reddit sub arguing about how SW shouldn't be normalised and was called anti-feminist as per usual as well as likened to a rape apologist. It makes me sick tbh.
SW will never be like any other job as much as people love to believe. Let's say a single mum goes to the job centre. Should they recommend SW to her? Sure, she can decline it but then she'll be wondering if she's doing a disservice to her children by not accepting the job because after all it's just like a normal job, is it not? And sure, desperate women already go into SW. What this whole SWIW movement does however, is push more women who previously wouldn't even consider it into the industry.
As for those who can't stop promoting the idea that SW has been so good for them, to me, they're just like the tories they love deriding — personal profits above all else.
They don't care about how normalising it affects other women, they don't care about ex SW who talk about how damaging the experience was for them, they don't care about how all women (especially attractive, young women) are now seen as potential SW (just look at the OFSTED reports and the Everyone's Invited thing to see examples like how male classmates already assume their female classmates will be on OF the moment they turn 18).

Jihadists are not looking to topple the west with a car bomb. Their goal, in part, is to foment an anti-Muslim sentiment because they don’t want Muslim diaspora, they want Muslims as far away from Western culture as humanly possible. They want their people to be as concentrated as possible so as to exert maximum political and social pressure.

For decades, the political right has done everything it can to make their numbers count more because they realize their party ceases to exist otherwise. The conservative demographic is dying, quite literally. Each new generation becomes less and less interested in their backwards asses but they’ve got a pretty big range of tricks to tip the scales away from democracy.
Gerrymandering. Redistricting. Closing voting locations. Cutting off the USPS at the knees to slow mail voting. VoterID. These are the first volleys in an assault on democracy.
What’s plan B if all the skullfuckery doesn’t result in a GQP caliphate?
Concentrate forces geographically. It’s better to hold all of the power in half the country than it is to hold no power across the nation. Concentration of forces itself is a force multiplier. In the case of the GQP, it also results in more groupthink because the differing views got run out of town.
Yes, progressives will suffer from concentrated groupthink as well, and that’s bad, it just isn’t their fscking goal.
It may seem backwards for a party to seemingly go out of its way to alienate the moderates and enrage its opponents. The political right’s plan for the next 20 years might be hidden in plain sight.

If conservatives become convinced that they cannot win democratically, they will not abandon conservatism. They will reject democracy.

I have a MayTag MEDB835DC4. Last night I replaced the heating element for the second time. Last time was about 1.5 years ago. I also replaced the wheels which were caked in lint and hair and not rolling well causing the belt to slip on the drum. I planned to replace the fuse/thermistocutoff sensor and the belt, purchased all for my dryer model on AppliancePartsPro.
Background on repair: The fuse tested ok, so I just kept the new one as a backup. The thermistor I got didn't fit, the one in the dryer has a notch cutout on the metal flange and a plastic housing which didn't fit on the new one because of that missing notch. The part numbers didn't match so I ended up reusing what was there, and I plan to call APPro today about that. The belt was skinnier and shorter than the one in the dryer, I assumed shorter due to stretching but the old belt looked fine, no cracks. When I tried to use the new one it was very tight, maxing out the tensioner and caused a noise when rotating the drum by hand. I went back to the old belt. I cleared out about 50 lbs of lint, not sure how we still have any clothes left.
Sorry for the long wind up. The Question: I ran the service tests after getting it all back together. All is well except the "Htr" result, which was 248. The service manual specifies a valid result between 0-200. No error codes reported, and the dryer heats up just fine. I am trying to figure out what the 248 means and what I should do about it. There is little to no info about it in the manual. I am wondering if that is the cause of the short lifespan of the heating element.

Magvevent lang ako. Yung spouse ko napaka-bait. Kaso ang major problem ko, lagi wala siya sa focus. Pag may pinapagawa ako sa kanya, 50% of the time, hindi niya magagawa yun according to what I instructed.
For example, if pinabili ko siya ng crispy pata, ang bibilhin niya chicharon. Pag pinabili ko siya ng grapes, bibilhin niya manga despite me saying na "Please. Wag ka magdeviate na naman." Ewan ko bakit siya ganito pero nakukunsumi talaga ako. Hindi naman siya bobo. Feeling ko may ADHD lang siya.
Dahil sa ganyang personality/mentality niya, twice na siyang natanggal sa work. Kasi wrong spelling siya parati or pag may sinabi sa kanyang gagawin, mali-mali pagkakagawa niya.
Pahirapan din kapag papapuntahin ko siya ng hospital para magpacheck up. Nagpaheck up kasi siya after ko pilitin, bipolar daw siya. Feeling ko wrong diagnosis yun kasi lagi naman siya masaya. Sobrang saya na nga to a fault. Yung akala niya ok lang lahat, when in fact hindi na talaga. Yung hindi niya ako sineseryoso. If ever man sineseryoso niya ako, nakakalimutan niyang seryoso yung issue kong yun sa kanya.
Anyway, pinaschedule (schedule lang ha) ko siya sa isa pang doctor, hindi niya magawa gawa. Ayaw ko rin gawin for him, kasi feeling ko lahat ako na. Hindi naman ako nag-asawa ng toddler.
Sa teeth naman. For example, masakit ngipin niya lately. Ayaw niya pumunta ng dentist. Mahal daw dahil 8k. Sabi ko sige, hanap siya mas mura. 3 months na nakakalipas, di pa rin siya nakakapa-dentist. Nacoconcern ako sa kanya dahil masakit yun eh. On top of that, amoy imburnal na bibig niya. Tapos he feels sad pa when sinasabi kong di ko kaya magtorrid kiss kasi nga ang baho. Mahilig pa siya maglaway sa unan namin. So umiinit talaga ulo ko kapag naaamoy ko panis na laway na kulay brown pa nga, while I try to sleep.
Lagi din siyang late. Ok lang sakin if bibigyan niya ako ng later time, basta dapat on time siya. Kahit magantay ako ng 10-15 mins ok lang, wag lang 30 mins to 1 hr late. Pet peeve ko talaga toh.
4 years na kami. Ganito na siya before and promised me to change nung nakikipaghiwalay na ako. Medyo OC kasi ako, so nahihirapan talaga ako sa kanya. Sa kanya lang literal na sumasakit ang noo at sentido ko. Wala siyang work now. And if magkawork siya, wala akong tiwala na hindi siya matatanggal ulit.
Feeling ko pasan pasan ko lahat kasi ako talaga yung mas malakas kumita, tapos maliit na bagay lang hinihingi ko, hindi niya magawa. Feeling ko malapit nako sumuko. Feeling ko in 2-3 years, mauubos nako.
Lagi pa yung nanay niya inuuna niya over me.
Ok lang naman maging house husband siya as long pag umuuwi ako, maayos ang bahay etc. Yung may to compensate in some other ways ba. Kaso wala masyado. Uuwi ako, gulu-gulo ang house. Ako pa magluluto ng food. Pag naghuhugas naman siya ng mga pinggan, later nadidiscover ko na may tira tira nakadikit sa plato etc.
But napakabait naman niya. Hindi niya ako napagsasalitaan ng masama. Hindi niya ako niloloko. Ramdam ko na mahal na mahal niya ako. Kung anong iutos ko, 98% of the time gagawin niya (ayun nga lang mali mali).

This is somewhat debatable up to Grand Theft Auto IV, which stunned audiences with its mix of macro-scale simulation and micro-scale detail. GTA V and the newer Red Dead Redemption 2 have continued this tradition, and both are still capable of putting the hurt on modern PCs. That's largely thanks to their forward-looking design that integrates features that contemporary systems weren't really ready for when the released.

The thing is, even though it just got a re-release on the current-generation consoles, GTA V originally released in 2013. The game's still fun, of course, especially the online mode that has seen continual updates over the years. The technology behind the title is getting a little dated, though, and fans of the series are understandably chomping at the bit for a new release. Rockstar has confirmed that GTA VI (or at least, the next GTA game) is in the works, but as usual, the company hasn't released any information about the title, nor mentioned a release window.
The leaks and rumors that we've heard so far place a hypothetical "GTA VI" at the end of next year, or even in 2025. That's a lot of development time, even if the company only moved into active development in the middle of last year, as is supposedly the case. In a time when almost every other development house (from Square-Enix to CD Projekt Red) is moving to the Unreal Engine, it seems like Rockstar will thankfully stick with its own in-house tech, known as RAGE.

You can see the tweet above. Chris says that he has been in touch with people who have seen the latest version of RAGE in action, and that its graphics engine is "assez incroyable." Chris describes the latest version as RAGE9, which is interesting; Rockstar doesn't talk about RAGE as a separate product from its games, likely because it doesn't license the tech.

It's not hard to imagine what sort of features the game engine might include to warrant that description. Heavy usage of ray-traced graphics will go a long way toward impressive presentation, but based on what we've heard in the past about GTA VI, it seems likely that the latest RAGE might be more impressive in its ability to scale content from infinitesimal details all the way up to gigantic cityscapes. We've seen demonstrations of similar technology in Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5, and given the nature of "GTA", such capability would be perfectly suited to the games.

Another impressive characteristic in GTA VI might just be the NPC AI. Historically, Grand Theft Auto's NPCs have been extremely simple stand-ins mostly intended to give the scene a realistic look without having much in the way of personality or believable behavior. That could all change in the next GTA game, based on a patent filed in October 2020.
From what we've heard, the next Grand Theft Auto title will be set in Vice City once again, so look forward to exploring the city's tropical environs. No word on the chronological setting, though; it could be set as far back as the Cuban Missile Crisis, or it could be set in the modern day. We also don't know necessarily what platforms the title will appear for, but based on Rockstar's history, we'd expect it to be available for the PS5 and Xbox before it appears on PC later.

My budget: $1000 (not including GPU, which will be bought later)
My use case: Gaming, programming, video transcoding, browsing, maybe setting up a couple of virtual machines, plus things that come up that my Mac might not do well (e.g. anything that requires OpenGL/OpenCL, which are deprecated on macOS in favor of Metal). I might possibly dual boot Linux.
Other requirements:

• Platform: I care about upgradeability for this build, but if my AM4-based list is the better option now I'm okay with having to upgrade my CPU, motherboard, and RAM all at once down the line.
• System: I really like the size and design of the NZXT H210 case, and it has front USB-C, so Mini-ITX it is.
• CPU: I already have a MacBook Air with M1, so I would like to get a CPU with faster single-core and multi-core speeds than the M1. I would like a CPU with integrated graphics since I will not be purchasing a GPU right now. Ryzen CPUs seem to offer much better performance per watt, so I would prefer Ryzen over Intel.
• Cooler: To save money, I would like to use the stock cooler. It looks like both the 5600G and 7600 (non-X) perform "fine" with their stock coolers. I might purchase something like a Thermalright PA120 down the line (I've heard it's very good for the price).
• Motherboard: I would like to have a motherboard with USB 3.2 Gen 2 (for the USB-C ports) as well as the latest Wi-Fi 6/6E. (Gen 2x2 or Thunderbolt would be better, but those boards get expensive.) USB-C is a priority because I have a lot of USB-C things due to being a Mac user. • SSD: I wanted an M.2 drive with 2 TB so I have lots of storage as well as a DRAM cache for faster I/O speeds. I know that the motherboards I've picked for both lists have multiple M.2 slots, but I don't want to do multiple drives right now. Maybe later. I'm fine with my Windows install and other data being on the same drive.
• GPU: Not going with a dedicated graphics card at this time, would like to wait for the 4050/4060/4060Ti/4070 once that is released. Nvidia has the capabilities I want (CUDA, plus the ray tracing seems to be better than AMD), so I'm not too interested in AMD's offerings. I am ok with limping along on the iGPU until then. I will also be using the PC with a 1080p 60Hz monitor, so I likely don't need something insanely powerful.
• PSU: 750W is way overkill, but it will leave headroom for the future GPU purchase. Also, modular seems like the best option for an ITX build due to limited cable management space.

My cousin's husband is a self-employed tradesman and is now established enough that he is likely to need to register for VAT this next tax year. He doesn't want to do this as it would mean having to charge more (which he thinks would lose him clients) or make less profit. He recently told me about his plans to simply open a second business and split his work 50/50 through each, so neither business traded over the £85,000 threshold.
My uncle (former small business owner) is fully in agreement with him on this. I've always just been an employee so I'm not sure, but this seems to me like the kind of thing HMRC would probably frown upon. He assures me that it's fine because one business will be for 'emergency' work and the other for 'routine' so they're separate entities, but to my untrained eye both businesses look like someone calling him to come and put shoes on their horses.
I'm slightly concerned as he's not the brightest, has made stupid/illegal financial decisions before, has been caught and I'm not sure he's learned his lesson. I've advised him to employ an actual accountant. I don't have much skin in the game but my family do, they're supporting him and my cousin with a house deposit and with getting a mortgage as his credit history is tanked due to the aforementioned stupid financial decisions.
Is this kind of thing OK or should I be having another word?

My not really husband (He never followed through with filing the correct marriage papers after the court messed up, this was his on job) and I moved apart Jan 6th because our relationship was extremely strained as a blended family of 6 especially with his daughter 13 mental health struggles from trauma and my 7 year olds behavior issues due to lead poisoning. He left not on the best terms but a few weeks after things settled down and he kept saying he wanted to try and "be better" and we're on a weight loss to get couples counseling and in home therapy to try to fix everything. He's is an avoider so any stress and I was left managing everything. Also when I got upset he would invalidate my feelings often again avoiding everything.
Well we have been on and off a few times because of the stress of the situation, But when we're not together, he doesn't see his four year old we have together. He always says that some excuse like it's not safe for my son over there so he has to come over here because we're fighting. He doesn't want to be around me even if I offer to leave that house. Or let him take my car so he can take him out somewhere.
Well we have been doing great the last few weeks but he told me that the week after we broke up he slept with his Ex. This devistated me.
Our whole relationship He made her out to be this horrible person. She is crazy. She's abusive. He even wanted to get a restraining order against her at one point. Their 13 year old had a restraining order against her for 6 months. I mean she has done some horrible things like try to punch him. Headbutted him. She's called me every name in the book. Said horrible things about our Kid. She had the 13-year-old over the head a few times with the cell phone. While we were on the phone with her.
But He said he was wasted and felt like she was being overly nice the week before that and tricked him into going over 🙄. Since we were doing okay I said you know what that hurts a lot and we had a lot of conversation right up I was stupid and said I'm still willing to work on things, but I need you to tell her that we're together and I need you to create better boundaries with her. No more super friendly conversations. Go back to OFW. If you want a relationship with me, don't hide the fact that we're together and lie to her about the kids coming over here. Don't lie to your mom either and when she asked how things are going, don't omit the truth about us being together. And we have been now for 4 months on and off and he never mentioned anything?
It's been 8 days since he told me he slept with his ex and promised to come clean and be honest about everything and go back to having boundaries with her and he hasn't done this at all and he's saying that I'm being selfish because I'm trying to make everything about me. Because today when he was on the phone with her he wasn't being 100% honest he was leaving out a lot of details that include me. And I confronted him.
His daughter is in the mental hospital has been for 2 weeks now. She's going to get out on Friday and then go to a partial program on Monday. I have been helping with advice on how to get transportation for her, how to get a tutor through the school and and IEP/safety plan. Offered to drive her for the first few days until transportation kickes in. He was using all this advice on the phone with his ex and the school and told them he has a plan for her to get there Monday and Tuesday but refused to answer what and didn't give me any credit for any of the other things. Normally it wouldn't bother me but it felt like he's not being honest with her because he is cheating with her.
Dad is 100% the main parent. Their daughter hasn't spent the night at her mom's in 14 months. mom has mental health struggles as well.
So today when I over heard that conversation I got upset and told him I felt like he was lieing he told me it was ok because she's going to get mad and Autumn needs to be the focus right now. I told him I don't want to deal with a relationship where the other person has to lie about me. No thank you. We've been together for 5 years and you're going to hide the fact that we're working on shit??
I said he needs to stop lying to her or I am going to tell her and our relationship is over. I'm not going to be some secret so you can play with your exes feeling too.

Hi Folks I have two hue hubs, to support my 350 squere meter house. Internally everything works as it should but I have started adding lights outside the house and here is where bottleneck is happening.
1) some outside lights are not being discovered 2) some outside sensors connecting ok/disconnecting randomly
My house has this extra insulation on all external walls but from the inside, it's 62.5mm insulation with a special foil in it. I believe because of that very little zigbee signal is going outside. I also have triple glass 65mm thick glass windows which does not help either.
I have moved one of the hubs very close to a window which is close to some outside lights but then sensors are too far. It seems, I would need to increase amount of hubs to catch all items but I would really prefer to handle all lights with one hub, because of the automation.
Any way around that, or is there any way to merge all hubs into one dashboard?

TL;DR A friend of a friend (22M) has made me feel uncomfortable in the past by giving me (21M) a fairly intimate hug (he's gay, I'm straight and maybe doesn't 100% understand me saying so due to being autistic). He's since said he hugged me because he loved me and felt attracted to me. I responded telling him I am straight. He's invited me over to his for a visit and I'm looking for a respectful way of saying "I'm ok with visiting you on the grounds you don't hug me other than a hug hello and/or a hug goodbye".
A (22M) friend of a friend (we're sort of friends but not close friends) previously didn't understand that I (21M) am straight (he's autistic and his autism makes it difficult/almost impossible to understand a lot of cues, he also has said that he's attracted to men, I respect and understand that he's both autistic and gay, I am autistic as well albeit much milder).
I have explicitly now said to him that I am straight and I think he understands, which I am relieved by but the whole previous experience still leaves me feeling a little bit uncomfortable about the whole thing.
What had happened that makes me feel uncomfortable was to pull me over to his couch and then give me a fairly intimate/romantic hug, and didn't understand that I felt uncomfortable when I was giving off cues like pulling away or not hugging back. I'd communicated afterwards via message I felt uncomfortable and his eventual response after leaving that message read but not responded to was to invite me to his again (I suggested lunch being more comfortable with that) and over lunch he said "I hugged you because I love you and feel attracted to you", to which I responded "Ahh, sorry, I'm not attracted to men, I'm attracted to women". I do understand though the whole thing of how being autistic can make someone maybe think that it's how to act and not thinking that people feel uncomfortable etc.
After that last lunch, we hadn't communicated in a while but in the recent past he invited me around to his house again I'd be ok to pay him a visit as long as I know that he understands and respects that I am straight.

Since I am not too interested in pursuing my clinical journey, I look forward to pursuing a Masters in Digital Health specialising in developing ML models in the health sector i.e.,diagnosing diseases such as Oral and Oropharyngeal cancer, making personalised treatment plans etc. I have been learning Machine Learning for like 2 months now(I started with Python basics like Loops, Functions, Variables,lists, tuples, learnt data analysis and visualisation using matplotlib and seaborn), developed a basic understanding of linear algebra and statistics, and started the Andrew Ng Machine Learning Specialisation on Coursera. Honestly, it gets on the nerves at times, especially when I was building a Linear regression model for House prices by downloading a dataset from Kaggle for the first time, it is fun too. What I have realised is that one should learn in small portions, dedicating atleast 2-3 hours and be consistent. ML is hard but with so many tools like GPT-4 and CodeSquire now, making ML models isnt too hard what I suppose it was back a few years ago. And do get your hands dirty with data on your notebooks. Theory is important, but practicing it is what matters.
Andrew Ng is a wonderful instructor and he makes things so easy to understand. He literally makes you fall in love with Machine Learning. In the meanwhile, I am also trying to read atleast 2 papers a week focusing on ML applications in medicine, as I hope to transition into this area.
To all the learners out there learning ML and feel overwhelmed at times, its ok. You are not alone. Just be consistent, take small progressive steps on regular basis and a time will come where we all will reflect back on these learning, overwhelming, and uncertain moments with a smile and be proud of ourselves

So I want to say UI is a tremendous company. so much so that it's one of the most significant holdings at our main fund at work. I see a freight train headed forward with little regard for whoever is in the way. That's how a good company runs. I think it's more on point. I am getting fiber run to the house; the local fiber company is finally lighting up my street. They have 5 and 10GB options. That might seem excessive, but my mom comes to work in my office a lot for the computer screens, and she is an OBGYN, so she is transferring massive files/scans of babies; who knows? But the file size of these things is out of control big, big enough that my 14tb NAS is at risk of running out of space... That's just background. So I will very likely be switching from Spectrum 1 GB (940) to FIbger 5, maybe 10, depending on what the costs are (I also trade full-time from my home, I'm not too far from Chicago, so I have a little going for me, but my latency is absurd on Spectrum. I've been told fiber will improve this significantly, which is great because that means it will improve by entries on stocks. So with all that, some unnecessary said, here is the proposed hardware I anticipate getting. Do I have my eye on the right stuff? And if not, are there other brands I should consider with significantly higher connection speeds?
I plan on sticking with the Dream, of course; I currently have the baby PoE switch (by the way, if you are finding your APs aren't as strong as they should be, check the limit of power available from the switch and do the math on your APs, you might not be getting enough juice. I learned this recently; fixing it took me from 3-400s to 800s almost immediately. Also - I have 5 U6 Enterprises, so I'm suitable up to at least 2.5.
And again, I want to stress yes 10GB is very overkill for anything we can do now with our computers, but I pull and push lots of files to both a local server where I test algos and pull and push a lot of data off of an offsite "cloud" network I suppose you could say, all. The computer simulates and trains on the behavior, so a bigger pipe is alluring. with that and my mom getting super high res medical scans pushed to her at home (iv seen them on other internet connections, and they take, like, legitimately 45 minutes to load), I am intrigued. Also, as an aside, I am working on a start-up project, nothing exciting just something to work on when I'm bored; maybe it makes it, perhaps it doesn't, but i want to do my development work on my server at my house, and a 10/10 connection would make that very agreeable.

The switch would then feed to 5 U6 Enterprises (which fly with wifi 6E, tried it with my iPad, and I was getting 950 vs. 970 on my dream unit right from the cable. Really impressive. I can't wait for 7... There is only a tiny amount of ethernet wiring in the house; it's a very old house with stone walls, so getting ethernet run through has been a devil. And it's not been the best relationship; I was pretty mad when they had all the wires 45'd and dangling by the rack rather than fitted with female ends; I figured electricians would know that's the right move, especially since I had rack with the parts for it. Whatever, they were all nice from what I heard; just a little frustrating. I'm 98% sure I will have them re-run the wires; two have already gone bad since he did it the first time. I have no idea what cat they used; I could easily see him having gone with a cheap option thinking I wouldn't care or notice. I know the CAT classifications get pretty crazy; I currently hear CAT 11 is the best and what you need, but is it too much to think, ok, lay cat 7, considering these walls won't open up for another 20-30 years?
ALl that said, I hate to ask this, but is there another company on par with Ubiquiti or in the same general league that is more equipped for 10GB networks? As I understand it, hypothetically, I got my hands on an AP that had a 10GB input, with the constraints of wifi 6/6e and the constraints on my MacBook pro and studio, for example (studio will be plugged in just wanted to mention), would the 10g be even able to register on my computer or devices?

I need help,
so I have always known deep down I have power to some extent. Through childhood I had multiple experiences connecting to the earth, had individual places to which I still consider sacred to my memories etc and my mum was a white witch (may she rest in peace). I also noticed that my family who knew their destiny of responsibility regarding power of knowledge or of caring but didn't follow it (mum should have been a florist but instead was a financial consultant, tad-cu was a coal miner and didn't follow his dreams of freedom etc). All of them died before 60. Okaay anyway I didn't want to meet that same fate. Though my whole family are less spiritually involved, I know from the stories even the devout christians have told me associate with their direct connection to welsh celtic culture and beliefs. I feel like for my nordic side (viking dads side) they connected instantly purely through family alone, gathering in one location slowly dispersing while making a path of community yet also pain and suffering (issues with anger and addiction), lets just say most of my family are religious with christian god (salvation army) however accumulate as norse pagans would have through their religion to then just speak about soul, spirit, family and multiple possible paths, being in the now, worshipping love and life. My dad tapped into his ability through mediation and hypnosis (deeply selective with topics he would manipulate through these methods as he recognised his power) and managed to create significant life changes for others. His extended conenction through sales of vehicles is tapping into his provision and caring ability, education about the soul and social justice.
My name 'Sasha' russian desent was chosen through 'defender of man' definition and Rae as a signifier of enduring beauty, sun (ray) and faeries all of which formed my character. I have inherent connection to ancestors strength and guidance, incredible relationship with communication and understanding where even abuse doesn't push me away from providing council. I began collecting rocks and crystals aged 4, carrying sigificant offerings with me all day accumulating positive energy through demonstration of pure love for those rocks. then i would go into my garden and carefully select flowers and berries to crush and offer to the trees. That was my natural practice unguided by any adult connected to me (i grew up in a house of distanced nannies or childminding). Death has always followed me very closely and I have lived a reckless life, although this connection of dreams, psychosis, depth of knowledge i have around my own trauma and neurological pathways without education is idicative of a person who has unrecognised power. Once I began forming my own life, it transformed. I am now well off in love and spirit, able to provide every goal to my inner child successfully to the scales of dreams unachievable by most in this economy at the age of 40, nevermind 19.
It's very obvious that we all have extended power reinforced consistently through our 'Covens'. I have noticed my power increasing since my mum was passing, she called me in her final moments and kept saying the same thing over and over but I couldn't understand her, it wasn't english but it didn't sound like the groans of someone who was dying, she was simply just speaking different way. So since then my frequency has been higher and interacting with energy around me, through subconcious thought. I'm not telekentic or anything like that just more of an interaction. For example, if i'm dissociating while engaging with frequency like TV, phone etc or if I encounter very negative energy with no redeemable quality the electrical objects around me blip or they completely shut off. A few of my friends have witnessed this, too many times for coincidence as it is daily. I'm interacting with minimal nature as a Druid, however I have re occuring cats to my door and crows regularly, trees around me and rocks in my room have energy i can interact with through conversation and touch so far. humans have began gravitating and forming deep attachments to my true character rather than my presenting, which I asked for simply as one sentence in my diary, no manifestation technique just simple asked for.
But strangest of all, everything unfamilar that I have accessed (painting, cooking, statistics, reading, general knowldge, health, science, power, goals, money, friendship and sex etc) has been achieved easily. My mutual connections have been complimenting me to our friend explaining a radiating energy - an attraction, without knowing my character they consistently ask about my personal belief and connections. It has been random, overwhelming but I'm pretty sure there is a very strong power through experience, knowledge, joint nordic and celtic pagan traits, and ability to provide and care. I have knowledge from multiple generations which I haven't ever overheard or researched yet can provide an answer for, from medical problems to social understanding, personal care like hair or herbal treatment, there are so many more examples. I have noticed just significant improvements with guidance and protection, bad spirits have been leaving my life with ease, knowledge and ability improving and an acceptance to existing in a never ending loop of experiencing the energy around us as we are the energy around us. It's like playing a game and finding the true cheat code to see the entire universe (and futher) as just an existing accumulation of energy.
I do associate highly with Druidry, I would appreciate any tips on how to enter this potential but also my mums maiden name is Gardener, orginating from Gar-dyn (warrior) and gardener the career, following close connection to personal nature in an increasingly disconnected world as a compromise for a life of Druidry. I would love to learn more from elders but most of them are gone now. I don't know whether to practice or not due to fear of becoming overwhelmed like my great aunt who was inherently spiritual and then left to join a chritistain cult (like genuinely I don't even know the name of her church subdivision). Let me know if I'm going crazy or if anyone has had similar experinces/patterns in educating about the knowledge and experiences I have always carried. I hope this reaches the right communities, but also I do want to say every religion is correct, every belief is correct as this is our own energy to continue experiencing until we are done, humans aren't special or individual but we are endless with a dash of self awareness, everything holds the same value (moths I am learning how to love you from a distance).

In October 22 I found out my wife had cheated on me with a work colleague from July to Oct 22.
They texted frequently, had sex once in a hotel, she met him twice to give him a hand job after work and then met him to talk at a local bar on 4 occasions. I have enough evidence to feel comfortable that this is the truth.
On the lead up to the affair we were not in a healthy place, lots of resentment from both sides, lack of effort to make each other feel better – but in no way is this justification for what she did. I’m just saying I understand why when a colleague showed her interest and sensed an opportunity the affair occurred.
Given the context I wanted to try reconciliation for my son, and to make amends with our recent troubles. Things were going relatively well, however, I would have dips and get upset when she had to go on trips for work.
Last week she went to an industry awards event that required a night away, she kept in contact with me during the night, and I know she was the from photos etc.
The next day she received a call from a colleague when working from home which triggered me. The colleague wanted to see if she got home OK and had a good time. I didn’t rise to my initial reaction but the following day I said to myself, F*** it, I’m going to challenge her. She said it was just a colleague who should have met everyone at breakfast but didn’t show as he was too hung over. In isolation, a completely believable story. I asked her to show me her work phone and she refused. This all took place hours before we were supposed to be traveling to London for a weekend away with family. She decided to take her work phone and I stayed home all weekend as I was in no place to play happy families (the family know about the affair) around everyone.
On her return she apologised and said she didn’t want to leave her work phone in case I started messing with it whilst she was out of the house but had nothing to hide.
Trying to find peace I said OK and moved on.
Roll forwards to today, I’m taking out son to school and noticed her car has mud on the tyres and rims – a sign she has been on a site visit (she works in construction as a buyer). I asked her why her car was dirty, and she didn’t know. I checked the house cameras and saw that when she left in the morning her car was clean. I called her to challenge this, and she denied all knowledge.
She called back minutes later to say she had been on a site visit but didn’t want to tell me as it was a site, she would meet her AP at and didn’t want to trigger me if I found out, especially after the episode at the weekend.
I very clearly told her that to build trust she needs to be honest at all times even if it does cause a small argument, its best for us in the long turn.
So….. am I over thinking things and being too sensitive, I don’t know how to trust my own judgement any longer and repair trust. I feel like a fool half of the time and then like im being played the other half.
Its so hard to know which way is up or down right now. I don’t know how to be this evening when she gets home, to sleep in the same bed, to cook her food, to talk to her. Im sooo lost.
How can I trust my gut again or not seem like an insecure bit*h? Any advice inc. questions to ask her would really help. I just dont want to be in the house right now but need to for my son.

I(22F) have been in a 4 month relationship with my boyfriend(24M). We met through mutual friends and he later asked me out. At first he didn’t want anything serious and I was ok with it because I wanted to explore my sexuality this year. Then a few weeks later he asked me out and I hesitated because I’ve never committed to someone, but I said yes. Everything has been well and I love our moments together. I feel safe and comfortable when I’m with him.
These past few months have changed the way I see him as we have started to be more public and be a couple around our mutual friends.
In private and when we’re out alone, our relationship is great, but as soon as we are in public I feel so lonely. In our friend group, we have a friend(21F) who is someone I like but isn’t a true friend. We believe it’s ok to have friends of the opposite gender and I’ve been respectful, however I’ve felt completely disrespect when our friend is around.
My breaking point happened a few days ago. We went over to one of our friends house the other night. During the night, he walked around with her, talked to her and ignored me, invited her to prepare food with him in the kitchen, touched her tattoo when she showed him, and put his arm around her.
Later that night, he said he felt bad that my friend was lonely( she has more friends than I do there) so he talked to her.
I don’t think I can see him the same.
He recently confessed his love for me but I couldn’t reciprocate(I felt he hasn’t shown it through his actions so I can’t choose to love him at the moment, too soon).
I have guys who write me sweet messages, send me reels and tiktoks daily, send me song recommendations, ask me to send photos when I’m away... why do I feel like they put in more effort than a guy who supposedly loves me.

I’ve noticed a pattern in my partner, one where her actions don’t align with her words and purported intentions.
We’ve had a few big blow ups since we got together, each of them brought on by her pulling some bullshit move, and then when I confront her about it, she always apologizes and says I’m right and she ‘just didn’t see it.’
A recent example of this is we had planned a race weekend in Rhode Island this June and last weekend she texted to tell me that (not ask me if) she had invited a couple she is friends with whom I’ve never met and basically told them we would stay at a house they own with them while on vacation and run the race with them and turned our private, planned way in advance trip into a couples’ weekend. When I told her this should have been a conversation, that I don’t know them and might not even get along with them for all I know, she did what she always does - apologized and just said it was a mistake and she wants to move on from it. Said she would drill into her head “Check with him before committing to plans.”
My question for the group, she cheated on her ex husband only months before we met and I didn’t know the full story of what went down until she told me recently. She told me as she was driving to have her affair she was telling herself ‘we aren’t going to have sex’ even though she was literally driving to meet a man she knew from work, a married man with kids (she knew this). I asked her if she showered and got ready before leaving like you shower and get ready if you know you’re going to be having sex soon and she said yes she did. So clearly she knew what she was on her way to do, but still she was telling herself it wasn’t really going to happen. Obviously it then did. For two days at his camp.
So when she invited people on our vacay, her defense/excuse was that she just got excited and wasn’t thinking. When she cheated, she felt like it was ok at the time because she was trying to blow up her marriage she says. So there are always excuses and ‘good’ intentions but the actions are usually super selfish.
So is someone who can cheat like that and lie to themselves about their motivation always going to have a problem with honesty and curbing impulsive behavior? She also slept with a guy she works with a month or so before we got serious. I thought they had maybe just gone on a date or done some work flirting but nope.
Another fight happened six months into our relationship when I asked about it, and she confessed they had slept together. So I was like, we’re you going to tell me you slept with a guy from work you still see all the time? She seemed shocked that I’d want to know or take issue with this since ‘she isn’t interested in him like that…anymore.’
Is someone who needs to drill into their head that they should check with you before committing you to plans just like completely clueless as to how to have adult relationships? Is someone who doesn’t know they should tell you if they slept with someone who they still see regularly just never going to understand how to treat a partner with respect and honesty? Am I just always going to be beating my head against this wall if I marry her?
There’s just been a lot of stuff like this. Crazy behavior to pull in a relationship that she plays kinda dumb about and makes it seem like it’s almost something unique to me that I expect honesty, communication, and to be treated with respect in this relationship - ie not have my partner signing me up for stuff and not even asking me, and being allowed to know when my fiancée is still interacting with someone who has had his penis inside her.
Seriously considering ending things but there is a lot of good there too and honestly I just don’t want to start all over with someone and I’m not sure if I’m being too sensitive.
Any advice would be really appreciated. I’m at a bit of a loss.
