I’m a cis woman pushing 50. I was in a several year relationship with someone who presented themself as a bisexual cis man during our relationship. She came out as a transgender woman and I’m trying to understand it all.
For background, I have always been a supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community, even back in the late 80’s when homophobia ran rampant. I supported trans right when there was extreme hate against the community. I remember one “documentary” from the 90’s on a popular cable channel that treated a trans woman like a freak show. It was shocking.
So, I ask these questions with an open heart, respect, a genuine curiosity, and desire to learn. I hope the questions are taken in the spirit in which I mean them. If I am inadvertently offensive, please point it out so I can learn.
We’ve had no contact for years so I can’t ask her directly,
My questions are:
I’ll call my former partner “S”. When S and I dated, we were so close. I consider it to be a significant and important relationship. At the time, S seemed so comfortable presenting as a man, and I mean a “man’s man”. Very masculine. As far as I knew, she was really happy and I didn’t detect any inner turmoil. I suspect that she was just really good at hiding. But, is it possible for someone to be happy with their gender and identify as their assigned gender for a period of their life and identify differently later? The person I was in my teens, or 20’s, or even 10 years ago feels like a totally different person from who I am today. Could it work like that if you’re trans? Could S have identified comfortably as a man then, but it changed? Maybe this is a question for any older members of the community. It doesn’t matter in terms of our relationship. I suppose this is just curiosity.
I’m also wondering how she would have viewed my cis female body. Nobody can speak for her, but I am curious to hear from any MtF women. We had a very robust sex life that included pretty vanilla acts of any straight couple. It was literally far and away the best sex I have ever had though. Seriously amazing. For any MtF women who were in typically cis heteronormative relationships when you presented as a man, how did you view your cis female partner’s body?
Again, my questions come from a place of genuinely wanting to learn and better myself. I hope they come across that way. Just a Gen X’er trying to keep up …

I’m a ISFP. We are all in grad school. First time ever taking to ESTJ. It’s just super weird. We saw each other in class all the day and just today we have a zoom group meeting together. I walked up to him in the school building and said that I know him from previous classes, he said something like “oh do we I was too focused when I do things so I never noticed you. “ I was like oh make sense you ask lots of bold questions in class. And then we had a heated debate on whether his straightforwardness and ignore the political correctness and insist on the logical thing is a good thing to do in California. And then I asked about his MBTI. He asked me what is it and I explained.he made some bad jokes like “oh nice nice hope school don’t kick me out if I get the wrong result”etc. at that moment I wasn’t sure if he’s interested (in the MBTI or in me) or just polite or etc so I said you don’t have to. But he said I pitched his interest. And when I talked to him and explain my emotional sways of viewings things he called it “fascinating and insightful”. It’s just weird cuz later when I asked his age. I guessed 27 but he laughed and told me the students he’s TAing guesses he’s 36. Then I asked his age again. He told me he’s in School while there’s dinosaurs in there. And then when I show curiosity again,he act a bit uncomfortable and say “now I’m feeling comfortable telling you my age now”. So I wrapped up the conversation and later that day he basically avoided eye contact but did open the door when I was behind him. I know later he literally graduated the same year as I form college which mean we both are 23. What the fuvk just happened.

Wow, I can hardly believe it. Today I get to celebrate five whole years sober from weed (and everything else)!
When I last quit I was in a pretty dark place. I never thought I would be here, it's really incredible.
This is by far the longest I've been sober since I started smoking when I was just 12. This isn't my first attempt either, I've had a year here and a year there but I always went back because it was so easy to fall back into.
I always like to stop in here to celebrate milestones because this sub helped me a lot throughout the years and I appreciate all of you.
As I reflect on how my life has improved over the last five years the one thing that stands out to me is my memory. I was playing games the other day with a very old friend and he was telling stories about us from when we were in middle school and I realized I have no memory of all these events. So many great memories that I have completely forgotten because I was so high all the time back then.
I really missed out on some of the most important years of my life and that really bugs me every day.
These last five years though? I won't forget those and I am so grateful for that.
I don't often celebrate myself for anything these days but I really need to for this. FIVE YEARS! FIVE! Woohoo go me!

Hey everyone. My girlfriend and I are both very open with each-other about our kinks, and we experiment with them quite often. She just recently told me that she’d like me to start being “mean” to her on occasion. In my head this sort of falls under humiliation which she does enjoy, but she stated that she dosent just want it to be JUST in a sexual way, but In general. Buckle in for a late-night, well overdue post in the form of a poorly structured plea
For several years, even when I was just beginning to sexually discover myself, I have fantasized about being... "prey," I guess. I've taken that BSDM test a hundred times over the past few years (not literally, I'm not that unhinged lol) and every time it shows I'm damn near 100% "brat." I would say that is extremely accurate.
The problem is, I've never met a guy (I'm straight, maybe a bit bi) that has embodied what I want in a sexual partner. My "criteria" are as follows: taller than me, 20yo-30yo give-or-take, attractive, strong, well-adjusted, and has the specific interest of overpowering/controlling someone like me out of pure desire and thirst for power.... I think. I'm not completely sure on that last criteria.
I understand that's a pretty common "ideal man" for most gals my age. But I'm hoping to find someone that fits the bill who can help me discover myself sexually and overcome the shame I sometimes feel toward my sex-life and interests. I'm looking for someone who isn't just looking for sex or sending pics or whatever. Rather, someone who I can build a sort of relationship with while mixing in some sexual aspects and maybe eventually take it further.

For several years, even when I was just beginning to sexually discover myself, I have fantasized about being... "prey," I guess. I've taken that BSDM test a hundred times over the past few years (not literally, I'm not that unhinged lol) and every time it shows I'm damn near 100% "brat." I would say that is extremely accurate.
The problem is, I've never met a guy (I'm straight, maybe a bit bi) that has embodied what I want in a sexual partner. My "criteria" are as follows: taller than me, 20yo-30yo give-or-take, attractive, strong, well-adjusted, and has the specific interest of overpowering/controlling someone like me out of pure desire and thirst for power.... I think. I'm not completely sure on that last criteria.

2023.03.22 06:38 Tiggyloo This is so genuinely frustrating. In EST it's nearly impossible to play the live challenges. The times are 7am-9am or 11pm-1am. You either wake up extremely early or stay up extremely late to play it.

Last edible(or half so maybe 12.5 mg of hybrid) was 17 days ago. Took 12.5-25mg once a week for the previous couple weeks. No other use in the past few months and only ever tried a few times in the past 6 months before that, and before then never. Wasn’t a ton but was enough to get me pretty faded. I’m 5’8 160 fairly jacked but not too lean. Was Delta 9. Test will likely be late April. Piss test. Advice?

One thing I’m definitely very aware of is that I feel like the problem. I’m the reason I’m lonely. Consistently for almost two years now maintaining and cultivating new friendships is exhausting. The simple act of consistently engaging in conversation is hard (mainly through technology) and I can’t help but want to scream at myself sometimes, “Why can’t you keep in touch with these people? Why can’t you let anyone in?” But I can answer that. I’ve had enough experiences in my past that my brain seems convinced people are temporary. They’re always temporary and if I open myself up to them and they truly see me at my most vulnerable they’ll leave. While I know logically that’s not true, it’s hard to ignore what my brain consistently fears. It just sucks. I’ve had so many opportunities to date/make new friends and yet I can never get myself to become truly connected with anyone. I use the excuse that I’m busy a lot, I have homework, etc and can even convince myself it’s why I can’t give people the time of day. I don’t blame a single person for giving up and moving on with someone else when it becomes clear I can’t stay actively in touch. And there’s always a reason in my mind as to why it wouldn’t have worked out with them but then I reflect on what could have been had I not been so quick to find a reason I can’t be present. The song Hearts a Mess by Gotye truly speaks to me. It’s a sort of love song where the singer is desperately trying to connect with someone who fears opening up due to past hurt, but to me it sounds like an internal monologue I could have with myself. Desperately asking myself to just let people in and connect with them but not being able to.

I'm somewhat stuck. I didn't get a chance to play much afterwards but I think it requires searching. I just a hint that can tell me what to do.
I dove deeper and deeper until I reached the lava zone. I found an alien structure (and I got the scene where that thing says it wants to help me), I went near and...lo and behold! It requires what looks like a blue tablet!
Feels like I should have found one by now but it's the first time I see the symbol. I only encountered purple and orange ones. Not sure if I want to scour every inch of the map. I don't know what to do! For a while now all my exploration with the cyclops and prawn has been going deeper and deeper near lifepod 2 (which led me to the giant cove tree, alien structure and another at the end of hte lava zone).
Can I get a hint?

I recently found out that one of my parents, my father, was not my bio father. Instead, it was someone my mother dated while on a break from my father. This turned my world upside down because my father and I had a beautiful, close relationship. The Dad who raised me has since passed away, and thankfully never had to learn of this discovery.
This all leads to my question: my bio father is about 70. I imagine this is the biggest news to him maybe if his lifetime (he didn’t know my mom was pregnant). He lives within driving distance. Has a couple of children of his own, all sons. I’m the only daughter. He knows I do not need any money or anything from him, I have a successful career. We talked for the first time recently. He said he always wanted a daughter.
What do you think he expects or wants from this relationship so late in the game? How would this kind of discovery, at this age, make you feel? What do you think he might want to know or learn about me first? What would you want to know? I have so many questions.

I'm nearing the completion of The Bumblebee Animation tutorial by u/Dog_Among_Kings. I've just finished animating the bumblebee through the environment, and it looks great, except there is a slight jitter between the last and first frames of the animation. I'm not sure what information to provide here, in order to facilitate help, but I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction, so I can get the scene rendered.
