If im being honest here im genuinely confused. Today me and my girlfriend had gotten into a repetitive argument once again, listen I love this girl with everything in me and would do absolutely anything and everything to be her man. Yet this is where im confused, today we were eating dinner, mind you she is sick with a cold, so she asks me to take her home because she doesnt feel good. Then she starts tearing up and I ask her “ are you okay honey?” She goes “yes im just sick” and she has repeatedly told me to take things with their face value because i tend to be a nudge when shes upset. So i drive her home and while we’re driving i ask her “ are you sure you’re okay love, this seems a little worse than a cold “ and she responds “ what I cant just have a night without you? I dont feel good I want to go home” Which really threw me off because i feel as if that question wasnt as jarring as it came off. So then i drop her off, i tell her I love her and to call or text if she needs me, she proceeds to apologize for ruining dinner and i told her it was perfectly okay , no worries at all. Then two hours go by, after she implied that I should leave her alone and not push, she texts me “ goodnight. “ which is not a normal tendency for her, so I politely responded “ hey im sorry love, im probably just over thinking, but whats up with the goodnight” she says “ no text checking in on me at all, instead of me crying all night im just going to bed” then a relatively long conversation ensued, and I was genuinely confused as to what was going on because time after time before shed tell me i ask to much and that i push too hard, but this time i did what she tells me to do which is “ not speak to her unless she speaks to me when shes upset” and to “ not ask if shes okay more than once” and now she tells me that I dont care about her when in reality shes all I care about. So i guess what im trying to say is, how do I avoid finding myself in a situation like this again?

I have shared on here previously that my DB lasted over a decade and a half. Yes that does sound crazy doesn't? Feel free to call me stupid for staying. Anyway we have been in recovery now since July 2021 and things continue to improve but of course I still have my doubts. I think that the longer your DB continues, the more damage it causes to your psyche and of course the longer it takes to recover. It is funny how the little things can make you spiral. I had a photo pop up on my phone from July 2019 that was taken on an in-state car trip to visit a historic site and our favorite restaurant in a nearby town. Anyway, the photo reminded me of how unpleasant the first part of the trip was. I had made the mistake of bringing up our relationship while driving to our first stop. My wife's response was pretty ugly. I thought the timing would be good to bring it up since she had had time to recover from the prior school year. I was wrong.
Anyway, her reaction was full of the usual anger, deflection, blame shifting, etc.. After I thought about it later I decided that she didn't even want to be there with me. The good news is that trip made me realize that there was an expiration date on the marriage and that it was approaching quickly.
Fast forward to today and she is a completely different person. She started to change near the end of 2020. Why? Was there something else going on during the DB like an emotional affair? After seeing the old photos I just couldn't let it go and ruminated on it for a couple of weeks. It led to a big argument and of course I had no real evidence of anything like an EA. I realized that after all this time I wanted there to be something more than the stressful job and some resentments that she held onto for too long. How can someone be that way for so long and then change so completely?
Those of you who have left a DB or fixed the DB, did those doubts and fears ever go away?
To those of you who are still in a long term DB, I just want to say that the longer it goes on the worse it will screw up your head!

It started about a year ago randomly while I was trying to sleep. My throat got so dry and I felt like something was leaking down my throat. Had a hard time sleeping because I felt like I was choking and it made it hard to breathe. Went to many doctors and all of them gave me allergy medications and sprays. None of that has helped me at all. My anxiety and depression has gone through the roof. I feel like this is ruining and limiting my life. I can’t sit still for some reason. It feels like I’m about to choke and have to constantly clear my throat. I can’t be in class for more than 20 minutes, can’t go out to eat, can’t even drive or ride any type of transportation because my chest goes completely numb. Then arms suddenly get numb, like I hit my funny bone. Luckily I’m in university so I can miss class but I really wanna go cause I feel like I’m not learning anything. Things got worse and I suddenly developed social anxiety. Sometimes I feel like everything around doesn’t feel real. I just wish all of these symptoms could just go away. I try to keep a positive attitude but it’s so hard. Sometimes I just breakdown randomly and I don’t normally cry at all. don’t know if anyone else has gone through this but please I need help. I feel desperate and hopeless.

Hey.
Quick question.
A few weeks back my husband was pulled over for not fully stopping at a stop sign. The cop followed him home and pulled him over at the end of our driveway.
We checked the ticket online today to pay it.
They want over 1 thousand dollars. The ticket says "driving on expired license." And not fully stopping at a stop sign.
His license does not expire for 3 years. In fact we just bought a new car 2 months ago so I know it's valid since they check all of that and we had to register and insure the new car.
The only thing that IS wrong on the license is his current address. We bought a home last year and haven't gone to update it. He works all week with only one day off on Sunday so it just hasn't been on the radar to do.
I'm super annoyed. I dont know if he did coast through the stop sign as I wasn't with him. But I do know that following for 3 miles past that stop sign to pull him over in our driveway and then saying his license is "expired." Ticks me off.
Can we legally do anything to this police officer for a false ticket?

I have an admittedly overcomplicated media share set up that I am hoping I can get working smoothly with the arrs. Here is my current set up and what I am hoping to do.
Media is split to Movies and Tv Shows Movies is split to 4k, 1080, 720, documentaries, kids movies, music docs and concerts. Tv shows is split to Adult Shows, adult cartoons, anime, reality tv, doc series, and kids cartoons. (It’s a lot but helps keep things organized how I like In plex)
I currently run a cache for my media share that moves weekly, and a raid0 download cache set to prefer. I manually COPY the files to media, while allowing the dl cache to seed and delete after 20 days.
Before diving in to the arr setups is it possible to have the file copy from dl cache to media folders upon completion, and can I choose their copy location on file add?
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Im in my third year here at Tech and through things I have been involved with on campus, I’ve come to develop a pretty good sense of the problems Tech faces (along with the positives). I am also an avid supporter of health initiatives and live an extremely active lifestyle. Which means I use the CRC weight floors practically every day. And through these three years I have learned the number one problem Tech faces is space. We don’t have enough of it. It impacts everything from housing to class sizes. And the CRC is no exception.
If you’ve ever walked in at 5pm on a weekday you’re bound to walk immediately back out. The line for the bench press is 20 people deep. The squat racks are unimaginable. Every machine has a line.
For a while, I’ve taken it as an unsolvable problem. The only way to fix it would bevor expand the gym floor because we don’t have enough space. That’s a multi-year, multi-million dollar plan. Something that would never come to fruition in my term here at Tech.
But this semester, the smart minds of the CRC administration did something absolutely perfect. They knew they were limited in size. They knew the biggest complaint, the biggest factor preventing some people from seeking an active lifestyle was the wait times on the gym floor. And they solved it.
It started with a rearranging of the machines earlier this semester. It left us with this huge walkway in the middle of the floor. Weird, but I guess a little spring cleaning never hurt anyone.
Then there was a sign. Something big was coming. And something big did come. They added weight machines that serve as both a bench and a squat rack for 2 people at the same time.
The CRC understood they were limited in space and took it among themselves to find a solution. And find a solution they did.
This is only the second day they’ve been up. And with most of us on spring break, i don’t know how it will fair once school starts back up. But I’m confident that weight lines will decrease and I applaud the CRC for taking the initiative and being a driving force of change on campus.
Please continue doing what you’re doing and encouraging people to seek out active lifestyles.

So, last week I was going to lose my virginity to the most amazing guy I've ever met in my life. After class we went on a nature walk and he took me to my favorite lake area. After a couple hours he took me out to eat and let me order whatever I wanted, I tried to not get too much but I couldn't help myself (He even let me get desert). After dinner we took a walk near his house and watched the sunset while laying on a blanket, he lives near a park with this massive hill and it was so beautiful.
Then we went to his house and I started feeling uncomfortable. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be rude, but he kissed me on my lips and I kissed him back. He picked me up, which was incredible because he's a fairly short and shrimpy guy but it was so romantic. We went to his room and that's when I knew that I didn't want to go through with it. He stripped his clothes but before he removed underwear I asked him to stop. He asked if I was okay and I told him that I wasn't ready and that I wanted to go home. He sighed and told me okay and that he needed to use the bathroom. He took a while but when he came back out he put his clothes back on and asked if I was ready to go and I said yes. When he drove me home it was a silent drive but he stopped at an ice cream place and bought me some ice cream. I said thanks but he didn't say anything still so I just kept quiet and ate my ice cream. When I got home I tried giving him a side hug but he took a few seconds before hugging me back. When I got in the house, luckily my father wasn't there, I took a shower and finished the ice cream while watching netflix then fell asleep. I still felt really bad and texted him the next day, he didn't respond, but later that night he apologized and said he was just frustrated but it wasn't my fault. He asked if I wanted to come over the following week, this week, and I told him yes and that we can try again. He got really excited and called me babe. So idk what I'm going to do, idk if I'm going to go through with it because it's just so crazy lol. I do appreciate that he treated me nicely though :)

I've been playing in goal for about 10 years but recently i'm getting a sort of "permanent" strain on the right side of my neck from the impact of diving (i dive primarily to my right when i have the choice). it doesn't hurt most of the time but if i turn my head far to the right, or sometimes when going to sleep on my right side, it's annoying.
has anyone else experienced something similar and have any advice?

Hi! I (30F) will be solo travelling through Vietnam in April and I am hoping to do a Ha Giang Loop motorbike tour. I am struggling to find good recommendations. Here are my requirements:
- Easy rider who drives safe and is friendly
- Small group tour (max 8 people)
- Staying in authentic homestays
- Off the beaten path/away from other tourists as much as possible (acknowledging that I am a tourist myself)
- 4 days/3 nights would be ideal but open to slightly longer
Also, I will be coming from Sa Pa, so any advice about transport between Sa Pa and Ha Giang is welcome. Thanks so much!

We recently hired a nanny primarily to take care of our baby (5 months) but also to walk our 2 year old to daycare in the morning. She doesn't drive; I barely trust my husband to drive our kids, so it wasn't a priority in hiring. I thought we were going to send B2 to our "backup" preschool starting in September, which is also walking distance, but we just got into the preferred preschool, which is not walking distance (it's 2.5 miles), but is on a bus route that passes by our house.
At the baby's current age and the toddler's current maturity level, I could manage it though I'd be stressed; ideally by September it wouldn't be as stressful.
What would enable this ask to be a yes for you, and help you be comfortable doing it? And any tips for taking 2 young kids on public transit would be helpful :-D
