Jain: In the calendar year 2022, Nifty 50 gave about a 4%-5% return, which sounds unexciting, of course.
But you should analyse the performance of that 50-stock basket by removing the outliers. And you will find that the difference in returns between the best performing and the worst performing stock is 90%. The best performing stock gave you 50%, the worst performing stock was down 37%.
I think it’s important to be able to identify those companies and take advantage of stock selection in order to create alpha and not overly obsess about aggregate valuations, aggregate growth, etc.

The decade of manufacturing

They tried for five years, couldn’t do it and finally moved out. They went to Sanand in Gujarat, which is now growing at a healthy rate. If all of India is going to follow a Singur model, it is time to short India. If all of India is going to follow Sanand model, it’s time to go double long India.
Doshi: India runs one big risk of continuity of reforms. We have had extraordinary leadership at the country level, which need to carry on for another one or two terms, I believe. There are a lot of unfinished reforms in many fields such as agriculture, defence, divestment of PSUs. etc. These are some of these big-ticket items that will actually take India to the next level.
Jain: I like to think that we don’t have control over what is going to be the political climate in India over the medium term and also on how regulations will be shaped. But what we can control is identifying companies that will be able to traverse these differing political scenarios, macro-economic situations, and so on and emerge stronger. So, I would as an investor and as a fund manager, only urge that we need to put effort into identifying companies and winners that can go through variables that we can’t control or which we can’t predict.

I'm not a communist myself and typically believe capitalism with robust social safety nets is the way to go (things like universal healthcare, housing assistance, etc). However, I also believe that, with AI and automation, communism may become more and more necessary to prevent widespread poverty.
I am a small business owner just starting out. I've created a product that is highly niche, highly desirable, and very difficult to make. I'm the only employee of my company and am thus the creatodesigner of the product as well as the owner of the company. But business is growing and I'm at the point where I can't keep up with demand, so I'm starting to look into hiring others. I would teach them how to build the product, but I wouldn't be sharing project files with them so they wouldn't be able to start a competing business. I would be paying them a decent wage, but of course I would be profiting off their labor.
For instance, if the product profits for $1000 and I pay them $500 to make it at a decent hourly wage, I'm profiting $500 for "nothing". However, I feel this is fair because I put countless hours into designing this product and a lot of money into failed prototypes and dialing in the tolerances. I'm currently negative several thousand dollars on the business as a whole. If I were to share my files with the employees or pay them for the full profit on the product, I would end up staying negative unless I built all of the product myself over time. But if I only built them myself, then the employee wouldn't have a job at a high wage and, unless they were very creative and skilled, wouldn't be able to create a product that would be as successful. Case in point, they'd be likely to make more money working for me than they would if they were to start their own business.

I’m about to graduate college and it’s just freaking me out how fast time is going by. I miss the way things used to be. Even if it sucked a lot of the time.
In high school, I had ride or die friends and we’d get up to all sorts of dumb shit and we didn’t care about anything. We would go to shows and get in trouble and drink with older people. We’d spend every day together running around the city we live in. It feels like another life. The only cares we had were if a boy liked us back.
Or in elementary school my mom would make me Nutella waffles and drive me to the bus stop and kiss my cheek. Or even my dad as he shouted at us from the sideline to play better during basketball when we were seven years old only for him to lose his shit when we scored a point.
I miss not having to worry or care or fear. I miss not looking at my parents and immediately being reminded how they are getting old. I miss my brother having his room next to mine and being 30 seconds away, not 500 miles. I miss being so close with my friends who I now send 1-2 texts to every few months.
Seriously how the hell do people do this. It makes me so depressed thinking about how things will never be the same. I’ll never share a roof with my family again or spend 5 nights in a row at my friends house just cause. I just found new friends and now am about to have to start all over again.

I was given a take home assignment to do. I'd say I did a pretty decent job. However upon submitting it, I realized there was a small visible error on the page.
Lets just say if this was something that was being published, you'd remove that tiny error and it would be ready to publish. That was the status of the assignment.
I'm just wondering do companies make a big deal out of stuff like this? Or do they just consider the whole package and choose to overlook the error?
The error could literally be corrected in a matter of 1 second. But I'm wondering if the company will form their own judgements of me based on this. Like " How could he submit this without fixing that error? Can he not see it? "
What do I tell them? Obviously if this was a real life publishing situation, I'm guessing there will be someone who'll say " Hey man there's an error! " and I'll be like " Oh you're right, sorry about that. Let me take it out ", " Here you go ". And the situation will be resolved like pie.

Tl;dr I'm trying to make a quality raven animatronic, haven't been able to find the files to make one, can't make one myself, please help?
I am a moderately experienced user, (just recently upgraded from my Ender3 to a Prusa M3S+) but I primarily have used it for TTRPGS and small repairs in the past. However, I have been looking for a few years for a very specific set of files.
I am trying to create a Raven (the bird) to be controlled with servos. Something similar to MrChicken's Prop Shop (which is a bit out of my budget and seems to almost always be out of stock), or akin to the top result on Instructables (which has no real instructions or parts, and is more a recap of a general process than anything else), able to move its head, beak, and adjust its wings, if possible.
Trouble is, I can't find a source for the parts I'd need to print. I'm not as experienced with stl hunting, and am not sure the best sites to search or what terms would help find the results.
I'd try sculpting it myself, but I am terrible at modeling anything that isn't a tool or replica of something I already have that needs fixing, so I wouldn't even know where to start, but given a model and some general instructions on how to put them together, I could do alright.
Does anyone know of, or know where to find the files I would need? I have a small budget if they're payed files, I just have hit a wall trying to find something.

Okay, let me start this off with saying I am feeling so guilty and ashamed about this situation. I have not been able to eat for over a month, lost 5kg, on lexapro now and struggling with negative obsessive thoughts about this situation.
Okay. Me and my boyfriend have been dating since we were both 16. We are in a very loving relationship, but I have lost of all my friends and was not feeling attractive and was feeling very insecure. I started talking to this guy on discord (NOTE: I ALWAYS PREFACED TO the guy THAT ME AND HIM WERE FRIENDS, NEVER ANYTHING MORE.) for about a week. To my regret, the conversation got flirty and I mentioned a few sexual comments in which I DEEPLY regret, I sent him a bikini picture too. When I was in this conversation, I didn’t realise what I was doing and genuinely didn’t realise this would hurt my boyfriend. Fast forward a month of hell, I have just told my boyfriend three days ago and to my surprise he is NOT MAD AT ALL. Not one bit, he says he knows it was a mistake and FULLY forgives me for this, and our relationship is 100% fine. I still feel so guilty and am still having these obsessive thoughts. My boyfriend has been so mature about the situation but I am feeling SO GUILTY. Our relationship is 100% fine and I have just started to eat again. I am thinking that my brain will never get back to normal and will have this anxiety forever. I am making myself believe that I am a horrible person. I'm 21 years old. There are just too much suffering at this point. It's too painful for me. I've been through hell in the past but at this point it's just unbearable. Just found out that I am having a permanent hearing loss in one ear and the cause is unknown, most probably genetics. My grandfather was MFing disabled in one side and still kept making so many babies. Idk how to feel at this point. I am alone. I'm a failure. I am isolated as fuck. I don't belong anywhere. I can just never feel like belonging no matter where I go. It has to do with my parenting. It's just so fucking painful, all these problems, this stress, depression and anxiety. Stress causing problems and problems causing more stress Idk how to fucking feel about all this. I lack the constitution to suicide otherwise I could have killed myself far ago.

I'm doing a custom build-- its primary purpose is to store precious family photo and videos. That being said, I was looking at unraid as a way for me to also make this a plex server and media host. I had originally purchased the following for storage:

3x 6tb SATA drives for storage
2x 1tb m.2 2280s nvme (1 for the appdata/dockers/vm, 1 for cache)
1x 500gb SSD for processing/temp storage
2 x 14TB WD Gold for Parity Drives

Prior to the ZFS announcement I thought I had a general understanding of unraid and my setup. I'd fill it as needed, and if it started to get full I'd start buying bigger drives (up to 14tb so I didn't need bigger drives to replace the parity drives).
Now I feel so completely lost.
When ZFS and Unraid came out someone mentioned to me RaidZ2.
I'm hoping someone here has a little more experience and can help me. I have a corsair 7000d, and I thought it would be a bit more expandable but it is what it is. I have the drives I listed and one more drive tray free if I absolutely need 1 additional drive.
I'm looking to be shown how I should setup unraid and ultimately how it will all be formatted. I pretty much just have to sit the CPU and heatsink and mount the MB to the tower and then everything is in there. I am also open to buying an additional drive or sending back the ones I have for bigger if need be.
