Update is sporadic at times State 7-Day Positivity Rate still stays at 6.1%, which is low.

INTERPRETATION: Cases The dataset was updated again today, but a bit oddly (delayed). Cases are still low (just over 400) but the 7-day average shows the case curve went up 1.78% today (as number fall of the 7-day calculation it causes shifts, and today we lost a figure (323 from last Tuesday) which was lower than today. Thus the average jumps a bit.)
The case curve is about where it was last Friday, so I'm not worried about it. Last week we ran cases from 323-511, with most in the mid-400's. A better breakdown report will come with the VDH 7-day breakdown. They were late (again), this time by two hours with their 7-day figures.
Nothing unusual in today's case report.
Hospitals Hospitals had another mixed bag. We got down to 277 patients on Saturday, but numbers have been slowly rising since then (see posted graph). As it was over the weekend, I'm not worried yet, but the total curve through the beginning of next week bears watching.
The
7-day hospital case curve fell only about a percent and has caught up with the current patient count.
70 patients were discharged with 77 new patients were admitted.
Number of ICUs jumped up eight, but vents held.
ICU bed patient utilization rose from 12.15% to 14.58%, and vent utilization dropped from 6.25% to 6.10% due to a few more patients in the hospital, not an actual drop in the number of vents in use.
Still no signs of a surge patients, but we have to watch to see if the numbers keep increasing past the beginning of next week.
Side Notes The daily dataset seemed to be manually updated (an hour late), so it makes we wonder if they are going to try and stop it again today. We will find out tomorrow. If so, it's back to 7-day reporting.
