I have no experience other than looking at this subreddit and youtube videos. My water stopped working a few weeks ago and I had a plumber come out and he changed out my pressure switch and was able to get my water running, but he told me my pressure tank was shot and advised me to replace it as soon as possible before my well pump fails. He quoted me $1800, but I wanted to do it myself mainly because I would be able to justify buying the tools to do it, which I wanted. I was able to change it this weekend, but ran into a few problems. The one that is bothering me the most is Home Depot had the wrong instruction manual uploaded for this tank, which said it would need a 10" long 1" Tee. Turns out, it needed a longer 1-1/4" Tee. I ended up buying a 1-1/4" x 1" Bushing so I can use the Tee I already purchased. I thought that would be the end of the problem, but when I got to installing it, I realized the pressure switch is too close to the tank. None of the internals were touching it, but the big plastic cover that goes over it wont go on properly because it's too close. It's currently on there, but I can't screw it in. I was thinking of either getting a longer nipple and either bending it, or maybe making one with copper pipe and two 45 degree fittings to make an offset, but I'm not sure if that would be a good idea or not. Another way I've been thinking about is that I read about someone who used 30" of 3/4" pipe with 1/4" reducers on both ends to reduce the chance of the nipple filling up with sediment and to make sure his switch doesn't get wet if it crawlspace floods. That could work here, because 30" would make the pressure switch sit above the tank. And then it wouldn't be a clearance issue. Other than that, I had to temporarily use 2 sharkbites for where it connects to the well, and where it connects to the rest of the house. There is a threaded elbow where the water comes into the house. My plan was to just remove the threaded pipe, and put a Pex to threaded 1" fitting there. I couldn't get the pipe to come out, even with a torch. I cut the pipe way too short to comfortably solder (I tried and failed), so I just put a sharkbite on it for now and I'll try again later. If it leaks, it will leak into my sump pump. Also used another sharkbite to connect to the rest of the house, and honestly that was because I was maybe 10 hours in, lazy, and also it kept dripping water so I knew I wouldn't get a good solder joint there. Everything is running again with no leaks, but I want to go back and make sure everything is done right. I'm hoping I don't have to swap out the tank tee, but I'm fully expecting everyone to say I need to switch that out and also did something disastrously wrong. My business is registered but I’m not clear on the basic process to move forward. I’m easily distracted and my searches for quick-start guides have also mushroomed into a new career :)
I want to bring all of our devices - all Apple - into an MDM for managing their apps as well as the devices themselves.
Do I need a separate MDM app for this, or is it as simple as - I just hit the ‘+’ to create one or more within ABM?
I am pretty good at figuring this stuff out and configuring properly, but I need a high-level road map to get me there. I tend to overthink things and get sucked into the help sections because there’s always something new or interesting. I’m always learning but also need to move ahead and get this done. I really don’t want to call Apple.
Does anyone have some suggestions on just the basics of where to start?

So, I’m an avid anime fan, and something I see a lot of the time in anime series (aside from superpowers, 4th wall breaks, and various emotions from heart warming to heart breaking) is the concept of some character being so strong, if they attack you (we’re gonna say because they’re having a bad day or something..) your outfit gets near completely obliterated.
Now, usually an anime where this happens usually tries to explain away why the “victim” still has some pieces left, or how it magically repaired itself. That’s fine, but my question isn’t about that. What I want to know is, how strong ARE these people to have been able to do something of this caliber, and how is the victim coming out unscathed with the exception of their clothes?
(To be honest, I would like this to be an actual style theory, so I’m putting this comment here in the hopes that MatPat sees this..)
I have to admit, I don’t really have a completed theory on the exact details, but I’m thinking the amount of force required might vary depending on the materials used.

I’d like to share my resume for feedback as I’ve applied to many marketing related jobs online and nada, zero call-backs, or interviews!
From reading some feedback already posted on here, I realize that having spent time making my resume look ‘aesthetically pleasing’ hasn’t worked in my favour when applying to jobs online, due to the ATS software. - Now I am sure (hope) that at least one or two humans must have taken a look at it, but something just isn’t working, and I think I’ve figured it out BUT I need someone to confirm this or give me a better piece of advice before I alter my resume once again.
So I have an Associate Degree in Business and Marketing and my BComm majoring in Marketing. (2016 and I finished my degree finished in 2022)
On my resume I’ve included awards and recognitions from a marketing completion and projects with a lot of success. I include tabs listing skills and tools I’ve worked with in school or learned to used on my own time. I also include a link to my portfolio that includes previous school projects and also personal hobbies like photos I’ve taken travelling and a blog I recently started.
So far, it all sounds alright, right?? Shows my educational background, my creative side, and ability to put a portfolio together and reformat previous projects to show I am proficient in the skills I’ve listed… you’d think I’d get SOMETHING… that someone in this world would find me interesting enough to bring me on board or at least hear my ideas?
So here is what I think the problem is. Over the last 10 years I’ve worked in hospitality. Most recently had the social media manager role in one of the restaurants I worked at ( included on resume) BUT I have failed to include ALL of my other previous experience in hospitality as a server and bartender at all the other establishments. Something that on a resume, can create and gaps and red flags for the recruiter.
On my most recent attempt I have yet to include my restaurant experience but o included a cover letter on the application that talks a bit about it… and still no luck.

So I am now, I willing to take a step backward and reformat my resume to single column and leave the creative mumble jumble for one that I’ll have on my portfolio.
But I guess my biggest question is whether I should include more of my hospitality experience and HOW to go about it?!
My mentality before was that if it wasn’t a corporate role, hiring managers do not want to hear about it, but I am starting to think that until I have had the opportunity to land my first actual corporate job in the marketing, creative or management department, they probably want to hear about my other experience.
So is this information relevant to hiring managers? Thank you to anyone that takes the time to provide some feedback on this matter.

We adopted a puppy, they estimated he’s 3-4 months old. According to the shelter, he’s been great with their dogs. I even watched him play with them, he was great about being handled, no good aggression, was great with my kids (aside from the normal puppy over excitement).
We’ve had him a week now and I’m seeing behaviors I’m not 100% sure how to handle. He goes through spurts where he gets this bug up his butt and he attacks my German shepherd if he won’t submit to the puppy. I separate them when this happens, the puppy gets put in a different room or outside. Is there something else I can do, or something else I should do? This isn’t just frustration, or me exaggerating play, it’s an out for blood won’t let go of my dog attack. If it weren’t for the sheer size of my Loof, the puppy would be doing serious damage.
The other issue is he gets territorial with the kids. He puts his paws in your lap for ear scratches. If one of my kids comes over during this, he nips them in the face and growls at them. Can this behavior be changed? He shows no other aggression with them outside of refusal to share my or my husband’s attention with them.

Mind you we both are neighbours so we started drinking tea and he asked me if I have been bullied when I was a kid and and I said yes he asked was that one of those girls that steals peoples boyfriends and I said no girls just didn’t like me back then, so I just talk to the boys he then said yeah boys are simple and easy to talk to and girls are a lot of work and I said but I really appreciate my females friendships now cause I long for them he said I can’t be around girls for a long period of time. Can’t be around careful long period time but I am a girl. How would he be in a long time relationship with me if you can’t be around girls for a long period of time This made me think this is not the first time he had said some thing that sounds like he doesn’t like women as much or am I just retaliating because my boyfriend is leaving so a part of me feels abandoned, and wants to deflect the pain to a different issue. When I moved in to this house, I had to get a new water heater as the old one had rusted out in the bottom and was leaking.
Since replacing it (it was professionally installed) I have had issues with the hot water pressure, especially in my sinks and my washing machine.
It also takes a very long time for the water to actually get hot through the faucets that are low pressure.
I’ve been mostly dealing with it for now, because the pressure/heat though the shower & bathtub faucet is fine… but the kitchen sink hot water tap takes forever to heat up.
Any guesses or possible troubleshooting ideas before having to call a plumber and having the pipes replaced?

My ex broke up with me in Thursday and its been a messy break up. Like the title says, she has or had a picture of a really important document (I don't know if she's deleted it or not). I know you may all call me stupid for asking her to take a picture of it, but let me explain. I started a new job last month and on the first day they asked us new hires our social security card. On the first day we didn't do what we needed the cards for tho and they made it sound like what they wanted us to do could be done from home. So the next day, I didn't take my card with me and they asked us to upload it for tax purposes to the system. But I didn't have it with me, so I needed just a picture of it. My ex and I were living together and she works from home, so I didn't feel I had another choice and asked her to send me a picture of it. I know it was stupid, but my employers wanted the process to be done right there and then, and they asked me if someone could send me a photo of the card. We're broken up and today we both have to go to sign for my name to be taken off the lease. Is there anything I can do do make he prove she doesn't have the picture anymore and prove it's fully deleted from her cloud and/or phone?

Hi fellas,
I'm quite new to RDR2 and I've realized that even with my PC, I can't get it to run constant 60fps with ultra settings at 1080p.
My PC specs are:
I have done the thing to set the power level to ultimate performance but still I have the same thing. I wanted to ask you guys if this is just what it is or if it's a known thing for RDR2. After some internet searches I got to the conclusion that a 3070 should be able to run it smoothly at 60+fps at minimum 1080, I've read here some people getting more FPS with higher resolution with similar setups.
Any recommendation fellas?

- RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200MHz

So I’ve been taking creatine for awhile now, it’s had some very negative side effects for me (only because of taking so much to fast ) I was at a regions gymnastics competition and ended up not being able to walk (which could have been from my rib injuries but they said it was a combination of both the injuries and creatine) , and severe muscle cramps you could actually see from the skin, and also severe shaking. but it’s all good now. However sometimes I feel like it makes my heart much faster, which obviously would make you breathe heaviefaster. I do have asthma and awhile ago I had myocarditis and fluid around my heart which took over three months before I could even walk a quarter of a mile again , but those are pretty resolved now and it seems to be from the creatine these weird and sudden heart racing things . So i do three sports , I’m currently in track season. I run long distance and sprints in track (sprints for fun) and I don’t want to have any incidents or have the creatine effect my heart to the point it’s throwing off my performance. Last season during cross country I passed out constantly and resulted in to many ambulance rides out. I regularly have to low of a heart rate (30s-40s when sleeping) So should I keep taking the creatine or no?

There has been a fungal plague that has spread to a medium sized kingdom and has since turned those citizens and people to monsters. Speculation has begun on what has caused this to happen and if there is a cure or way to prevent it from spreading to neighboring kingdoms. Now how this affects our group could be in one or two ways with our group with our group being innocent bystanders forced together or previously aquatinted now rallied against the plague. Or a special rag tag team formed to track down a clue about the plague that might help bring about a cure.
