Moving to Park City in a month and curious if anyone has any recommendations for a home internet provider?

I have an older chromebook whose updates stopped last June, and I'm wondering if I can travel safely with it--i.e. use hotel wifi in a major metropolitan area and then safely use it again on my home wifi. Only normal browsing on generally "safe" sites.
It sounds really stupid but I'm not sure the extent those updates are important for safety of casual use?

For context my ex (27M)bf cheated and used to verbally and emotionally abuse me (27F)We broke up two weeks ago and he called me (27F) last night to say he is a product of a not good environment and l should forgive him.
My ex bf was body shaming me and blaming his cheating on my weight saying things like if you lost weight l wouldn’t have to look at other women. He also wouldn’t never support me but put me down. My self esteem was destroyed because of how he treated me and l’m healing. He called me to beg for forgiveness and
He said when he was around 18 he had a friend who liked a girl and the girl would ignore him. So my ex bf pretended to like the girl and invited her to a city far from her home and they slept together. After doing that he pretended his parents were home and the girl was left stranded because he promised to take her back home. Out of desperation the girl reached out to the guy she was ignoring and asked him for help and he asked her to sleep with him for him to help her. The girl apparently later found out this was a game my ex bf (27m) played with his (28m) friend.
Tldr: Ex bf (27M) has always had questionable behaviour but he will never respect me (27F) if he can take advantage of women.

I don't know why but I'm terrified of staying home alone. I keep thinking that someone is going to break in even if I lock the door and have the tv on. I really don't know how to overcome this fear.
The thing is, I believe that people are watching our house (I stay with my mother and brother) and for some reason wait for me to be alone so that they can break in and hurt me. Can someone help me rationalize this??

we're both nearly 25, we've been involved in some way since we were both 19. we moved in together last year, are super close, are usually very happy and comfortable, etc. but i've never quite been able to shake a few doubts that have been there since day 1.
she has many fantastic qualities -- funny, lovely, supportive, cute + curvy -- and obviously after 5 years we know one another extremely well and are deeply comfortable with one another. but the thing i've always worried about is that she's quite, shall we say, mild. i am a very passionate, creative and outgoing person. she's not very creative in herself. she likes consuming art and stuff but is not especially curious and has no instinct to pursue intellectual interests. when we hang out with our more artistic friends she's a tiny bit out of her depth. her hobbies mostly involve the maintenance of plants. her tastes in culture are pretty narrow, she will enjoy more out-there stuff I bring to her but really, Taylor Swift is the artist she cares most about. socially she's fairly outgoing and talkative, always up to hang, but I am the one who introduced her to most of our friends and she is always ready to go home at midnight. she's terrified of drugs (though she accepts me doing them to some extent). in conflicts with others she's passive. in sex, i always take the lead.
none of these are bad or unusual qualities in themselves. but they are ones that have always left me a tad unsatisfied. i have a lust for life she just doesn't quite match. she has opened up over the years but never quite enough. i always feel like she's going to become a bit more adventurous but she never quite does.
plus there's this guy... a friend i met in a smoking area a while ago, an american of my age who's fixed his life so he can spend a couple years bouncing from european city to european city. he's always off in istanbul or berlin, drinking his fill of life. (he affords it by doing journalism and by having lived with his parents rent-free while working full time for a few years).
i don't want to live quite like that, i love where i am. but it's made me aware of the possibilities. this guy comes through every 6 months, full of stories, to crash at mine before jetting off on another adventure. he lives cheap and hard and is truly taking advantage of his youth and freedom. i want to travel to all these places, see all these things, meet all these people. so does my girlfriend. but, when i'm really honest with myself, i don't want to do it with her. i want to be able to fully enjoy myself. yes this obviously includes being able to meet women, but it's not limited to it. last year we went to new york for a long weekend, went to this dive bar, had just met some people we were going to keep hanging out with, when she announced she was tired and wanted to go home. at like 11PM!
finally, and predictably, there's this girl... a friend of ours. she's beautiful. she has cold blue eyes, a black cascade of curls, is skinny as anything. (i'm not normally into skinny but her beauty transcends my taste.) we've been hanging out with her regularly for a few months 'cause she lives locally and we all get on really well. there's a lot of mutual flirtation (both girls are bisexual, and i'm incorrigible). but while the flirtation is three-way, i don't think my girlfriend realises quite how into this other girl i am. this girl is outgoing and creative and self-assertive. she dances, she sings, she draws. she wants to stay out late. when someone talks shit to her she talks shit back (so hot). sexually she's very adventurous. worse, she's into me too -- but i am not thinking about leaving my current girlfriend to try to be with her her, certain social circumstances i can't be bothered to go into mean that being with her is straight-up not an option. while i really like her, the main impact of hanging out with this girl is it's got me thinking obsessively about how there are other people out there. fantasies and curiosities i had repressed have burst out like pandora's box.
i feel really bad about this situation. really ungrateful. i love my girlfriend, she's a lovely person, and we have a great life together. ending things would crush her. just a horrific thing to do a wonderful person.
but i have never not had these doubts. the whole five years, it's always just been a question of how strongly i'm feeling them. they've been pretty well quashed since we moved in together, but recently they're hard enough to ignore that i'm posting about them on reddit.
i basically already know what the responses to this will be. i just can't stop thinking about it, can't resist posting about it. it's this or moaning to my actual friends, and most of them know her too well for that to be a real option. so here i am.

I have a pair of black Q150s that I'm looking to part with. They're great speakers, but they're currently set up in an extremely small home office (like 7' x 10') in which they're kind of overkill and I get more use out of a 2.1 desktop setup with smaller monitors. The outsides have seen some knocks (I have cats), but they're in perfect working order. I've also got like 50' of 16 gauge speaker wire and some acrylic anglers to include.
The timestamp photo of the speakers is a truly heinous photo but harsh light and excessive dust / cat hair will do that. They sound great.
Local pickup preferred since I don't think the cost of shipping would make sense vs. buying a set on Amazon. Based in Brooklyn, NY.
I'm also considering selling a NAD 316BEE, also pictured. Probably looking for $250 or best offer — these don't pop up secondhand all that often, so I'm not sure where to set the price.

I was hoping to see if I could get some guidance on any recommended umbrella policies for my Cane Corso puppy.
The pup is and will continue to be socialized. He is a sweet boy with all that he meets aside from People and dogs he is great with cats, bunnies and birds.
However, we own a home and want to make sure we protect our assets as a precaution.
What Umbrella policy do you guys recommend?

I started at my job right after Thanksgiving. I am a buyer for a production site so I am an office employee. We are changing ERP systems over the week of 4th of July. This is traditionally when the shop floor will shut down for one week. Office employees do not work on the floor, so we are not affected. This year, since the ERP system is changing, they are mandating that everyone takes a week off (40 hours of PTO).
Is this legal?
I hardly have any PTO since I just started and only accrue 8 hours every 2 weeks. I feel like I can’t use my time off how I want and I’ll just be sitting at home since I have nothing planned that week… I already had to take off 6 days during the Christmas time since no one was here to train me. I started the year off in the negative, and I have only been able to take off a half day because I am trying to save my PTO for my vacation I ACTUALLY have planned and booked later in the year.
