I am researching for new earbuds for some time now and i am very much leaning to buy Jabra earbuds. My main use will be phone calls(from office, car, home). Initially i settled to Elite 7 Pro which seemed to be ideal. Then i noticed Elite 4 and Elite 5 are close to Elite 7 Pro in features for much less.
But then i accidentally found out Jabra Connect 5T exists. The mystery about it is that i haven't seen it in reviews before and even if i search for reviews now i don't find much. As i do care most about phone calls this might be the best option as i understand it was designed for this.
From my research i found the following:
1) Its page in Jabra website(https://www.jabra.com/business/office-headsets/jabra-connect-5t##100-99182000-02) which for some reason doesn't show me the title and did not find option for buying
2)Some say it is only sold in North America
3)I found it in amazon uk(having excellent reviews) and it seems it can be delivered to my home country(South Eastern Europe)
4)I also read that it is an enhanced version of Elite 5 which again could suit me very much
Could you please enlighten me for the above? Why no option for buying and why i cannot find much details online?

I'm flying SFO->Tokyo HND->SEAsia next week in Premium Economy. Never flown in PE/business before so am excited.
I guess onboard food is same as economy but they also give you business lounge access.
I used Priority Pass the last 2 trips on Qatar and Turkish (granted 2 of the better airlines but they also had lowest fare) and I used the PP lounge at Doha and IST. It was great, was able to shower, eat, drink and even sleep.
I'm vegetarian and there was lots of great food. I understand Japan doesn't really cater to vegetarians, but Sakura in HND only seems to have a fixed menu with the only veg dish being garden salad/pasta?! The main dish is beef curry and a Japanese platter. I guess buffet is no more which is weird since it seems to be open in other loungers. No dessert options that I can see. In comparison IGA in Istanbul had a full mezze spread, live cooking stations for Turkish food, pasta and fresh bread, lots of desserts, a full service bar etc. Doha was also great.
Sleep - Both of them had dedicated sleep rooms with flat chairs, which Sakura seems to lack. Its also not open 24hrs
Al Maha in Doha and IGA in IST are open to everyone. The business lounges for both of those, as well as Cathay, Singapore etc, look much more luxurious with better food/amenities. But the Sakura lounge looks like its spacious but very limited in comparison. And this is their business lounge in their home city. Sakura at SFO has terrible reviews too and is going to close permanently this month.
Was really hoping for a much better experience in a business lounge. Am I off base? Has anyone been there recently and how was it?

Hey all,
I just got back from my 3 week trip to Korea, spending 2.5 weeks in Seoul (due to getting surgery) and 4 nights in Busan. I thought I'd share some of my experiences and thoughts here since some of the recent information I got from this subreddit was not true when I went to Korea.
Tips:

• Get your T-money card as soon as you can (I got mine at the airport), I saw many tourists who never bought one and were still using single tickets to get through the subways, which is really inefficient and more complicated.
  
• if your phone allows eSim, prepurchase one online then you can simply scan a QR code when you land and have immediate access to data, you can also skip the lines at the airport where they sell sim cards. I got mine from KT online for 56,900 won which lasted for 20 days.
  
• lots of ATMs only allowed up to 100,000 won to be taken out, with an expensive 4800 won fee. ATMs near or in banks seemed to be the best option where you can take a lot of cash out and the fees were about 3000 won.
  
• when using your visa or mastercard, many times it will ask you if you want to be charged in KRW (korean won) or your home currency (in my case Canadian Dollars CAD), you should always choose KRW even though it seems counter intuitive. If you have a no foreign tx fee card like myself, your best conversion rate will come from the visa or mastercard conversion rate, and not the one on the machine.
  
• ALWAYS carry a pack of "wet tissues" on you. You can buy them for 1000-2000 won for a pack of 20-30 in any of the popular convenience stores (CU, Gs25, 7-11). about 1/3 of the washrooms I went to there was NO toilet paper.
  
• Carry your passport on you in a safe and secure place at all times, especially if you're going out for drinks or trying to get into bars, as well as for instant tax refunds when you spend more than 30,000 won and applicable stores.
  
• When shopping at street vendors for clothes, bags, etc. Never buy the first one you see especially if you look like a foreigner. For example, you walk to the first stall and see a handbag you like, but you don't see a price, that price when you ask may or may not change depending on how the owner feels at that moment. I often saw bags being told to customers at say 40,000 won, but a few stalls down had a price tag for the same bag at 15,000 won.
  
• when looking for places to eat, IF you don't plan on looking up restaurant reviews on your phone, it's always safer to choose places that are either LIST PRICES or are BUSY, or BOTH. I went into several restaurants that had no prices listed outside and were dead and they were often bad experiences. If you know what you're going to pay, and you know other koreans find it good, then its a much safer bet.
  
• use KakaoTaxi app to call cabs whenever possible! Not only does it show you the optimal route, but it also gives you a very accurate guess of the cost, but most importantly, it lets the driver know exactly where you want to go. As someone who speaks decent korean, 90% of the time I hailed a cab and tried to tell them where to go, they could not understand even when I showed them my phone (almost all cab drivers are older men who have a very hard time seeing things on the phone). If you can't help but hail a cab without the app, and they can't understand where you want to go, find the nearest major subway station near your destination and tell them to go there instead.
  
• if you are enjoying nightlife at places like itaewon/hongdae, it will be IMPOSSIBLE to get a cab through KakaoTaxi app. However, there will be a lot of free cabs everywhere, unfortunately all the cab drivers are there to essentially scam people. They will ask you where you want to go and usually will tell you it will cost 40,000 won. This is a ridiculous price, you could ride in a taxi for 90 minutes for 40,000 won, but they will ask you for that even if its a 5 minute drive. I'm not 100% sure whats best to do in this scenario so if any koreans can help out please leave a comment. Personally, I was able to find a driver who would take me anywhere for 15-20,000 won each time.
  
• always bring AT LEAST 2 credit cards (1 visa, 1 MC for example), most places my first CC would work fine, but many times it would not work and I had to use a different CC. Also ALWAYS have adequate cash on you in case all your cards fail.
  
• there are almost NO public garbage cans in korea (private property like malls is no problem), so most people leave their trash anywhere or in piles on the side of the street. I would bring a small trash bag to carry around if you dont like littering.
  
• if you quickly need smaller bills and don't want to go around stores asking for change, there are arcades almost everywhere especially at major tourist zones, and they all have "change dispensers" that can turn 50,000 won notes into 10,000s, and 10,000s into 1000s, and even 1000s into 500 coins if you need
  
• when calling a taxi on KakaoTaxi its best to wait at a place thats easy to pick you up. For example on the correct side of the main road, otherwise the taxi may have to do several loops to get to you and in some cases to avoid doing this the driver may try to message or call you, and if you dont know Korean then you cannot respond and no one likes a grumpy taxi driver. Also, its simply cheaper and faster for you
  
• at many tourist places (ESPECIALLY at the fish market), vendors will try to convince you to come buy at their stall or come into their restaurant etc. Personally, I have dealt with a lot of this overseas and will simply ignore them and continue walking and would recommend you do as well. There are plenty of vendors who are not pushy with cheapebetter products.
  
• if using the KTX high speed train to get from city to city, remember to prebook your tickets on the korail website up to 30 days before the trip, also remember they are not return tickets so you must book both trips separately.
  

Random thoughts:

• you will probably spend more cash than you think. This is one thing I wasn't prepared for as everyone was saying you basically don't need cash. If you're like me and enjoy streetfood and arcades, etc, then it would be good to get a good chunk of cash out, especially since your CCs could fail and you may need to pay in cash. Traveling with myself and my girlfriend we still ended up spending about $600+ CAD during the trip
  
• as early as 2 months ago I saw comments saying myeongdong was "still dead", and I don't know how it was pre pandemic, but when I was there it was extremely busy. To the point you had to constantly stop and wait for people to keep walking through.

• Remy, a 32-year-old male doctor. He was smart, kind, and compassionate, but also nervous, neurotic, and squeamish. He had a passion for medicine and research, and a fear of blood and violence. He had glasses on his nose from poor eyesight, and a stethoscope around his neck.
• Lila, a 19-year-old female pop idol. She was beautiful, charming, and talented, but also vain, spoiled, and naive. She had a passion for music and art, and a love for fame and fortune. She had long blonde hair with pink highlights, and a piercing on her belly button.

They had been passengers on the starship, heading to a new colony on the rim of known space. They had different reasons for leaving their old lives behind, but they shared a common dream of adventure and opportunity.
They never expected to end up on this hellhole of a planet.
The pod crashed into the sand with a loud thud. The impact knocked them unconscious for a few minutes. When they woke up, they saw smoke rising from the pod's engine. They quickly unstrapped themselves and got out of the pod.
They looked around and saw nothing but sand and rocks. The sun was scorching hot, and the wind was blowing dust into their eyes. They had no idea where they were or how to survive.
They were scared and hopeless.
They checked the pod's computer for any signs of life or civilization. They found none. The planet was uninhabited and uncharted. They were alone.
They checked the pod's cargo for any supplies or equipment. They found some. The pod had carried some basic survival gear, such as food rations, medicine kits, weapons, tools, and materials. They also found some personal belongings that they had brought with them from the starship.

They expanded by building a workshop where they could make their own equipment. They used some workbenches and machines to craft weapons, armor, clothing, and furniture. They also used some research benches and books to learn new technologies and skills.
They also built a hospital where they could treat their injuries and illnesses. They used some medical beds and vitals monitors to heal faster. They also used some drugs and medicine to ease pain and cure diseases.
They were healthy and hopeful.
They defended by building a wall around their colony. They used some sandbags and turrets to fortify their wall. They also used some traps and mines to deter intruders. They had faced many threats on this planet, such as pirates, tribes, mad animals, giant insects, and ancient killing machines. They had fought them off with courage and skill.
They also built a comms console where they could communicate with other factions. They used some radios and satellites to send and receive messages. They had made some friends and enemies on this planet, such as outlanders, spacers, raiders, and mechanoids. They had traded with them, allied with them, or fought with them.
They were safe and hopeful.
They dreamed by building a spaceship where they could escape this planet. They used some advanced components and materials to construct their spaceship. They also used some cryptosleep caskets where they could sleep until they reached their destination.
They had found a broken-down ship with the help of a friendly AI. The AI had told them that it could take them to a glitterworld, a paradise planet where they could live in peace and luxury. The AI had also told them that they had to defend their ship for fifteen days as other desperate inhabitants of the planet attempted to seize control of it.
They were ready and hopeful.
They started their ship, and waited for the countdown to end. They saw their enemies approaching from all directions, armed with guns, knives, bows, grenades, rockets, and flamethrowers. They heard their enemies shouting threats, insults, and demands.
They grabbed their weapons, and prepared for the final battle. They had rifles, pistols, shotguns, swords, clubs, spears, molotovs, frag grenades, and EMP grenades. They shouted words of encouragement, support, and love.
They were brave and hopeful.
They fought their enemies, and defended their ship. They shot them, stabbed them, bashed them, burned them, and blew them up. They killed them, wounded them, or scared them away. They also healed themselves, rescued each other, or buried their dead. They fought with skill, strategy, and teamwork.
They were strong and hopeful.
They won the battle, and secured their ship. They cheered, cried, and hugged each other. They thanked the AI, who congratulated them on their victory. They boarded the ship, and entered the caskets. They closed their eyes, and fell asleep.
They were happy and hopeful.
The ship took off, and left the planet. It flew through space, and reached the glitterworld. It landed safely, and opened the caskets. They woke up, and saw a new world. It was beautiful, green, and peaceful. They saw friendly people, who welcomed them warmly. They saw advanced technology, that fulfilled their needs. They saw amazing wonders, that amazed their eyes.
They were happy and hopeful.
They lived on the glitterworld, and started a new life. They built a new home, where they could live comfortably. They found new friends, who they could trust and love. They found new hobbies, that they could enjoy and learn. They found new happiness, that they could share and cherish.
They were happy.

Bringing more voices to the table

While fliers posted at transit stops can reach a wider audience, they typically only allow for one-way communication because few commuters are eager to carefully examine a physical map and submit an email outlining their ideas in the middle of the trip.

My wife and I have a Security system that we do not use. We used to in the past, but the power was wired through the walls of our house and coming out of a power outlet, to a plug that was then plugged into that same power outlet. It caused the outlet to not be able to have a protective cover on it and was all around done poorly. Eventually I removed the plug, really it fell off because again it was done poorly, and we decided we would no longer use the system.
The system was in the house when my wife purchased her home and at some point when she was having issues with it they did send a tech out to fix the system and did a minor upgrade (wasn’t asked for).
Since we decided not to use the system we called to cancel and they are saying that in order to cancel we have to buy out the contract. We argue that we did not sign any contracts with them and they tell us it was a “verbal contract” which neither of us ever remember agreeing to.
When we ask for a copy of the phone call with us agreeing to the “verbal contract” they say they cannot send it to us, but they can have someone review the call and let us know the results of that review. This seems really shady to us and my wife did tell them to send us a copy of the call or we will be getting an attorney involved.
Is it legal for them to not provide us a copy of this “verbal contract”. Are we really roped into this contract for the next 29 months with the only option of reprieve being to buy it out?

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea last year after an "At home" sleep study. As a result I was sent a lovely photocopied leaflet on how to live with sleep apnea and that if I wasn't falling to sleep whilst driving then I wouldn't be seen to.
I bent the truth a bit because the constant struggle with exhaustion was overwhelming me, I managed to have a telephone appointment with a lovely gentleman who didn't listen to a word I had to say and just told me to lose some excess fat.
I'm not fat, I go to the gym and have a manual job so a lot of my bodyweight is just muscle mass.
I was told I would be reviewed in three months so I set about trying to cut down a bit of body fat...a year later and I've still not had a review and my quality of life has deteriorated massively, I've been back to the GP and had them refer me back to the sleep clinic but I'm not holding on to much hope.
I've lost a bit of weight and also had a septoplatsy but nothing has helped.
I'm edging on going private but not too sure the best way to approach it and don't want to end up throwing money down the pan.
Has anyone got any advice or stories to share that might point me in the right direction? It really feels like it's all coming to the boil right now I really don't have much energy left to throw at it.
I'm based in Yorkshire if anyone has any recommendations around my area for going down the private route.
