2023.03.30 19:03 Marvinus Wazuh on AlmaLinux 9.1 ARM64 install ??
I am trying to get Wazuh running on an Almalinux 9.1 ARM64 deployment and have tried to adopt the Raspberry PI description from Jacob Riggs <
https://jacobriggs.io/blog/posts/how-to-install-a-wazuh-siem-server-on-a-raspberry-pi-4b-26.html>](
https://jacobriggs.io/blog/posts/how-to-install-a-wazuh-siem-server-on-a-raspberry-pi-4b-26.html).
As I see it OpenDistroForEleastic is now OpenSearch and opendistroforelastic is discontinued so I have been trying to adopt the config to OpenSearch and OpenSearch Dashboards instead of Kibana (if I have understood it correctly). Also the Raspberry pi description is for a version which is not supported anymore.
So I tried with:

https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-8.6.2-aarch64.rpm)

https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/beats/filebeat/filebeat-8.6.2-aarch64.rpm)
When I tried adopting the Raspberry Pi description could not restart the services and when I try to install these files I just don't really get anything functioning. The services are all running but
open search dashboards (localhost port 5601) tells that me that "opensearch dashboards is not ready yet". And "filebeat test output" gives me a

But a manual "curl -XGET

"cluster_uuid" : "dBO-koBtRYaZpGJNmeGjnQ",

"minimum_wire_compatibility_version" : "7.17.0",
"minimum_index_compatibility_version" : "7.0.0"
},
"tagline" : "You Know, for Search"
}
So that part seems fine.
What am I missing ? what is the key ingredient that I have apparently forgotten or not been able to find in any description anywhere ?
Any pointers ? Why are the descriptions for Wazuh on ARM so horrible (well mostly non-existing). Since ARM64 is becoming a platform that is increasing quite a lot in popularity.

2023.03.30 19:03 SeaSwab 1930's Poured Concrete Foundation Troubles...
| Hi everyone, I have purchased a 1930's home about 6 months ago that has a poured concrete foundation. The exposed foundation area was covered with a parging material with some rigid foam insulation panels at the time of purchase inspection. Upon moving in I noticed water intrusion through rebar chairs and lots of interior spalling/efflorescence on the interior and exterior walls (pictured) and leaks around the chimney flashing. Additionally at the bottom of the chimney cleanout (hidden at the time of inspection) the cavity has deposits of dirt/sand and a rough texture to the walls with significant rusting of the cleanout covers. The chimney is plumb and is not pulling away from the building. We have been noticing some sloping/springing floors and cracks in corners of walls that have been painted (8 to 10 years ago), or were under wallpaper in many of our interior walls supported directly by the foundation and between the ceiling and wall on the 2nd story of our home. Cracks were present in the tile kitchen and bathroom floors upon inspection, however they were chalked up to in-proper preparation but we noticed some spring and sagging in the floors that could have contributed to the flooring failure after living in the house for a few months. The house was constructed on a silty soil and with no drain tile/waterproofing so I want to validate that seasonal warming and cooling/freeze thaw are not the primary culprit here. I am planning on doing the following this summer to address some of the issues; - Installing french drains to direct roof drains to a proper termination >20ft from the foundation walls and sloped away from the structure.
- Painting and repairing interior cracks to see if they will re-form.
Longer term if the wall cracks reapear, we plan to water proof the exterior of the foundation (however this may be challenging due to the extremely rough texture of the foundation wall) or other means of repair. I would like to see what other remediation measures are avalible for this issue or if anyone has a similar experience. submitted by SeaSwab to centuryhomes [link] [comments] |

2023.03.30 19:02 StepwiseUndrape574 GTA 6 Report Details Rockstar’s First Bonnie And Clyde-Like Female Protagonist
Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most profitable entertainment franchises in the history of games. It came along as a return to form after what many fans would argue was a misstep with the more gritty and realistic GTA 4. Originally released back in 2013 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3—yes, it spans three console generations—developer Rockstar has supported the game's online mode with continual updates adding new content, new areas, and even all-new mechanics.
GTA V was such a runaway success—and GTA The Trilogy: Definitive Edition was such a dumpster fire—that Rockstar gave up working on a Red Dead Redemption 2 DLC, and has now reportedly abandoned plans to remaster more of its beloved older titles to instead focus on both further GTA Online content as well as the development of GTA 6.
gtaonline fukaru
Naturally, expectations for GTA 6 are incredibly high, and given the advanced age of GTA V, fans are chomping at the bit for any bit of news. That's why there's so much buzz around a report at Bloomberg that focuses on Rockstar's new corporate culture. Company co-founder Dan Houser left Rockstar in 2020, and ever since then the development house has been trying to reshape a corporate culture that the report refers to as being "like a frat house".
Given the nature and tone of the humor in the Grand Theft Auto series, it's really not surprising to hear that the atmosphere inside Rockstar was juvenile and chauvinistic. The report remarks that the workplace culture at Rockstar was "full of drinking, brawling, and excursions to strip clubs." That may sound like a good time to some, but it's admittedly not very professional.
gta1 katie Katie from the OG Grand Theft Auto (1997) on PC (left) and Game Boy Color (right).
As part of the report, author Jason Schreier casually reveals that GTA 6 will have at least two playable protagonists, and that one of them will be a Latina woman. This technically isn't the first playable woman nor even the first playable Hispanic woman in the GTA series; the very first GTA game featured a Latina named "Katie" as one of its eight playable characters.
Still, very few of the series' modern fans even remember the old DOS-based Grand Theft Auto, so we can forgive everyone for forgetting about poor Katie. Regardless, the new girl will apparently be part of a Bonnie-and-Clyde-like crime duo, calling to mind the partnership between Claude and Catalina in the beginning of Grand Theft Auto III. Hopefully the partnership between the new player characters in GTA 6 doesn't end the same way that one did.

2023.03.30 19:02 EvolvingAdmin Changing email in hybrid exchange?
Hello,
Recently had someone get married and have a new last name. We are waiting on legal paperwork to change the last name but we are able to change the email without it.
In onprem AD under proxy addresses there is only the x500 entry. I added both the new email as SMTP and the old email as smtp, forced a sync with AD-Connect but the emails persists 2 days later.
Do I need to delete the x500 address?
My googlefu is failing me
Thanks,

2023.03.30 19:02 AutoModerator [Share Course] Dan Koe – Digital Economics Masters Degree

- Learn about the future of media and code — the front-end and backend of the internet — so you can focus your efforts.
- Understand digital leverage, distribution, no-code tools, and digital assets so you can take part in the mental & financial wealth transfer.
Phase 1) Creating A Meaningful Niche Every day I hear people going on and on about trying to find their niche.I also hear people talking about how they don’t know how to combine what they love talking about with what will sell. You already have the answer. You just don’t have the clarity. - Develop a long-term strategy to create your own niche — meaning you don’t have to worry about your “competition” playing status games.
- Discover your life’s work, curiosities, and obsessions. I see too many people that are uncertain about this for years.
- Cultivate and turn your vision, goals, and values into a brand that attracts an audience you love interacting with (and that will buy from you, and only you).
Phase 2) Content Strategy There is one thing that separates those who make it in the digital economy and those who don’t.It’s the quality, articulation, and perceived originality of their content. The content you post has to make sense to the people you attract.Everyone has a different voice and tone that they resonate with. That they are congruent with and trust. It has to change their thought patterns or behavior — that’s what makes you memorable. That’s what separates you from the sea of people posting surface-level copy-cat style posts.Example and putting my money where my mouth is: - Become an expert-level speaker or writer on the topics you care about.
- Never run out of content ideas for your posts or promotions (without using content templates — that’s how you stay a commodity).
- Create posts, blogs, tweets, images, and videos that resonate with other’s on a deep level. People will actually ask you how you got so good at what you do.
- Separate yourself from the ocean of B-tier creators that struggle to sell their products, services, andhave their ideas stick in the head of their audience.
- Implement our Epistemic Research Method — which is just a fancy way of saying scientific research method… but it’s for researching your mind to craft brilliant content and product ideas.
Phase 3) Crafting Your Offer Most people are sitting on a goldmine of skills, experience, and knowledge ( that they can use to help people 1-2 steps behind them). That is what people pay for.Considering 95% of the market are beginners… if you are good at something, you can help them get to your level ( no matter how “basic” you think the information is).Do you not watch basic content all day anyway? People don’t want new information, they want to be reminded of what works. - Use our Minimum Viable Offer strategy to start monetizing immediately (and have something to improve over time, rather than procrastinating until it’s perfect).
- Have a strategy for reducing the time you spend working over time (as you build leverage and improve your offer).
- Know how to create your own customers from the audience you are building, instead of “finding” the right customer for your offer.
- Take the guesswork out of building coaching, consulting, or digital product offers.
Phase 4) Marketing Strategy You aren’t making money because you aren’t promoting yourself or your offer. That is literally the only way to make money. Have something desirable and consistently put it in front of peoples’ faces. In Phase 4, I will show you how to systemize, automate, and be consistent with simple promotions. You will be able to make money without having the chance of forgetting to do it (or letting fear of failure get in the way). - Learn to sell on social media, in your writing, and across different platforms.
- Have consistent sales coming in while focusing on your meaningful message (no need to sound salesy all the time).
- Learn advanced automation strategies that you can implement at your own pace, especially once you validate your offer.
Bonus) The Creator Command Center The Creator Command Center is a Notion template that houses all of the systems. This is how you will manage your brand, content, offer creation, marketing strategy, and systemized promotions for consistent sales. Bonus) Live Product Build & Launch In the first Digital Economics Cohort, I built out my course The 2 Hour Writer.I have videos showing how I build it with the strategies in phase 3 and 4.There is a bonus module that shows how I had an $85,000 launch that resulted in my first $100K month.I did this to prove the strategies inside Digital Economics work if you stick to the plan. And, this past Black Friday, I blew my that monthly high out of the water in 4 days. That’s the power of these strategies if you stay consistent with your life’s work. submitted by AutoModerator to Agency_Navigator_Gadz [link] [comments] |
2023.03.30 19:01 Awkwrd_Lemur What do I do?
My mother says her therapist told her to take her time on cleaning her bedroom - She'd been working on that bedroom for Almost three weeks and the therapist (according to my mother) said to give her another month. I don't believe it and that's the same b******* story that my mother's been telling me for 30 years. she swears that she's changed. For clarity - I've been going over to her house every other week To take the items for donation. I have not been over there in about a month because she went out of town for 2 weeks. My husband wants to go over there right now And call adult protective services in front of her and i'm telling him to wait. Does anyone have experience with adult protective services in florida in according situation?

Been waiting 2 months to post this...
Ive recently discovered that i may be an Enemy of the State. Let me explain.
Ive always been a critical thinker, 9/11 happened to fall on my first day of high school, and i quickly realized that what i was watching and what i was being told were not the same thing at all...
Interestingly enough, right around the same time, i was starting to come to the realization that the family that adopted me at birth, was not your typical family, and a lot of the most respected and loved family mebers happened to be privileged, wealthy, and a lot had government, military, and security jobs. I knew that was never gonna be me, and would always call out the bullshit they were supporting (war in iraq, war in afghanistan)
For the next 20 yrs, i passionately researched the truth, and posted my findings online, from the early days of Myspace, to FB, to IG. The more i became socially conscious, the more i noticed certain family members start to mistreat me and talk shit about me to other family members, to manipulate their opinion of me...
My friends were pretty solid and didnt treat me like a pariyah til recently, when their screens told them to, but back around 2012 or so, the worst i would get is people who would ask why i waste my time with conspiracy theories. To which i would reply, maybe prophetically lol, "if they ever try this shit again, ill see it coming a mile away"...
Which i did. I connected Kissingers "whats for lunch?" Speech, with Gates' parents' involvement inintelligence, eugenics and PP, and followed the vax tech, and who was funding it, and it wasnt hard after Agenda 2030 and Event 201 to see what was coming...
So when all the madness of 2020 started, i hopped back online, to FB of all places, since most of my family and loved ones are on there, and started warning people of the vaccine agenda and how it was never gonna be just "2 weeks". Of course i was censored and shadowbanned to hell, and my loved ones just called me a racist conspiracy theorist rightwinger (even though ive never fallen for the polotical theatre, and expose both wings as the same evil corrupt bird) and, most notably, the lockdowns shut down my job...
Once i became jobless, a certain family member, who ive always known worked for a huge govt contractor, all of a sudden took interest in me and what i had to say...
i blabbed about the race war tptb were setting up, the tech they have that was designed 30 yrs before being released to us, once theyve figured out how to weopanize it against us (cell phones, cpus, social media, apps etc) and how the people had it right during The Occupy Movement, which is when/why the coorporations started pushing this divisive "woke" messaging...
He begins to open up to me about what he really did for work. How he was one of the people who worked in black sites, that they would never acknowledge to the public, until they had served their purpose and were demo'D, how he was on a team that invented the F15 Raptor... and how in his later yrs, was an Electronic Specialist for Lockheed.
Knowing i would research everything he said.
I did, and immediately realized he left out a word in his official title. When i looked up "Lockheed Electronic Specialist", i damn near had a panic attack. There was no Electronic Specialist. But there was an Electronic PUNISHMENT Specialist!!!
So i dug. And found the book, Targeted Justice, that explained Gangstalking, and detailed the lengthy measures used to punish POLITICAL DISSIDENTS.
I quickly, and sadly, put all the pieces of my life together. The people i loved and trusted the most, hurt me in the worst ways (programmers)
In my emotional state, and pushed on by my partner to expose them as the monsters they are, i posted a lengthy FB post, exposing this persons identity and his involvement with a certain 3 letter agency. Which... i know you cant do.
The months that have followed, my phones, email and social media accounts were hacked multiple times,, my car was broken into twice, i was followed and chased on the road, surveilled at my own home, by "neighbors"... all which died down once i lost my mind, almost checked outta here early, and was finally told "when you stop, it stops".
Now that im not talking to others about it, the harrassment has stopped, but ive found that theres a whole website dedicated to this exact thing, and even support groups.
Came here, to see if any of you have been going through the same thing, to maybe find support or community.
Ive also seen, from my 2 months of lurking before i was allowed to post, that this place is infested with disingenuous bots/trolls/shills, so if this post truly resonates with you and youd like to talk more, send me a DM
Thank you to anybody who took the time to read this, and im an open book if anyone has any legit, non-troll, questions

2023.03.30 19:00 Future_Vehicle_8307 22 Blue in 2022: 'THE QUICK LIST'
22 Blue in 2022: 'THE LIST'
Build Supermajorities of Democrats in the US House and US Senate
Here’s “22 Blue in 2022: ‘A Quick List’”:
- Florida 2. Ohio 3. Kansas 4. North Carolina 5. Kentucky 6. Arizona7. South Carolina 8. Georgia 9. Texas 10. Michigan 11. Nevada 12. Pennsylvania13. Missouri 14. Wisconsin 15. Iowa 16. Arkansas 17. Oklahoma 18. Indiana19. Colorado 20. Alabama 21. South Dakota 22. North Dakota
The 2022 Midterm Election is the most important midterm of our lifetime.Democrats must behave as if our lives depend on this midterm, because our future depends on the outcome.
”We the people” must deny the Republican party political power at every level of government for decades to come “in order to create a more perfect union.” With 48 States having some statewide contest(s), November 8th, 2022 is our best chance the Democrats will get to do that for the rest of this decade, at least.
”The List” encourages the election of a Democratic Supermajority in the US Senate in 2022. This is the best chance we will have to create a Democratic Supermajority in both Chambers of Congress for the remainder of this decade. This midterm could be a devastating loss for the democrats if good patriots ignore this election. If Americans of good conscience band together instead, we could could begin the exile of the Republican party from power, not for years, but for decades to come.
“The List” is a set of suggestions about where to focus collective activism today.
The election of Democratic Supermajorities to both chambers of the US Congress is the best outcome we can strive towards in the 2022 Midterm Election for many reasons. Among them: breaking the decade of gridlock in Congress, supporting President Biden’s agenda, and his re-election in 2024. My personal favorite is that this could commence the decades-long political banishment of the GOP from power, which the Republican Party so richly deserves.
The Republican party has proved itself treasonous on many levels. They are traitors to Humanity by supporting Trump. Traitors to the Nation for supporting Putin. Traitors to the government and betrayers of the constitution through their apologies for the 1/6/21 insurrection. To safeguard our country and the world, we must block the Republicans from power at the ballot box, at all levels of government, for at least a generation.
Political game playing may be inevitable among humans. Change the numbers, and then change the rules, if not the game. Cynical refusal to play at this time in history cedes power to NAZIs manipulated by Active Measures. That is a surrender to crypto fascism, not radical thinking, mere cynicism, or hipsterism.
In 2022, Patriots must unify to crush the Republican Party at the ballot box. We can defeat them in every State, at every level. We need the biggest turnout at the voting booth of any Midterm ever. We need to raise more money for candidates and organizations than we did during the entire 2020 campaign season if we are to accomplish this. We need to do this in the next six months.
This is what a “Blue Tsunami” REALLY looks like.
Electing a Democratic Supermajority in Congress is our hope for the future and retribution for America’s enemies. “22 Blue in 2022” is a roadmap to the beginning of that journey. “22 Blue in 2022” is our war plan. ”22 Blue in 2022” is our electoral battle cry. “22 Blue in 2022” is a way forward out of gridlock, a way to non-violently thwart those who would poison the body politic with their hate.
If we don’t try this hard in 2022, Trump will go unpunished and metastasize by 2024.
Resist In Power, my sisters, my brothers, and my others.
Resist Together, and elect a Congressional Supermajority in 2022!

2023.03.30 18:59 Better_Lift_Cliff Mental health is deteriorating, don't think I'm cut out for fully remote work
I realize that it's a privilege to have a steady job given the unstable market but my mental health has taken a dive-bomb from the social isolation. It's gotten so bad that I've gone to the doctor due to physical symptoms but everything came back normal.
And yes, I do have social hobbies outside of work, I see friends on weekends, and I exercise frequently (if anything, too much. Rest days are rare). The benefits of this are better than nothing, but they are short-lived, and they don't make up for the time spent sitting alone in a silent room.
5 YOE - 4 of those were in Europe, where I never had this problem even though 2 of those years were remote. It's only gotten bad this past year being back home in the US. Unless you live in a real city, the US can be an isolating place.
Planning to move to NYC in a little over 3 months when my lease is over and look for a hybrid role, but to be quite honest I'm struggling to imagine keeping up this (lack of) lifestyle even until then.
As you can imagine, this is affecting my ability to be a good engineer too.

I think reddit is the perfect medium for me to communicate with you because it gives you back 2 things you need the most. Safety and control. It puts you and me at a safe distance so you can feel safe about it and it gives you the control on whether to see these messages, when to see them and how to process them. I don't ever mean to message you anywhere and I dont ever mean to close this distance. I know i shouln't make it about myself because i have acted selfishly all the time. I was under the impression that you have bpd ( connecting unrelated threads in my head) but when you told me about ptsd, everything clicked. I can't take back the words I said but trust me none of them were true about you. Not even single one. Its important for you to not blame vourself on how i acted, it is absolutely my fault and i own up to it and what i did will haunt me for the rest of my life. Its important to remember how people act around vou isnt a reflection of who you are, instead a reflection of who they are. Don't feel guilty for any of this. I don't know much about psychosis but it sounds horrible to go through. I am really sorry you are going through it. These demons won't haunt you forever i promise.

2023.03.30 18:57 saucyrants How to best understand and love my boyfriend more?
Hi all! I have never posted in this sub before but I have been looking. I started dating this guy almost 2 months ago now and it seems to be going well! He thinks he’s on the spectrum but his parents never took him to get a diagnosis. I’ve worked with kids who were severely autistic and I know everyone is different so I am not here trying to diagnose him or asking you to but that being said, I don’t think many people in his life would be surprised if he got the diagnosis.
About me- I am also not neuro typical I have adhd and bipolar. I suppose I thought I should just share a little about me.
ANYWAYS to my questions. I have been trying to research dating someone with autism. First and biggest question, would it be weird to share that? To say what I’ve found and ask questions based off of it? I don’t want it to come off as weird that I’m researching. I have tried to ask questions but he doesn’t always know the answers of like what would be helpful. I thought maybe if I read up on it I could make suggestions?
He has the same routine. He works as a bartender, if he goes out after work it’s with the same people to the same bar. He’s comfortable and outgoing there. Same at his house or with his family. Having him come to my place sends him into a spiral, he gets so scared because it’s unfamiliar. Obviously I get it will be unfamiliar until he comes over more but I don’t want him to panic constantly. It is important he comes to me sometimes too though since we live 45 minutes apart and I work 8-5 5-6 days a week. He says he needs people to bully him into doing things but I obviously don’t want that but that’s the only way he knows how to break his routine.
How accepting are families? I find his quirks endearing but others may not. How do you tackle this?
Any other things that would be helpful to keep in mind? I try to be clear and open with communication. There’s always things he does which he thinks are because of his autism like being extremely Organized or extremely passionate about hobbies. I try to reassure him and tell him it makes me like (we haven’t said love yet but god I want to ) him more. Seeing how he lays out his clothes or reorganizes the drink binder from work on his free time is adorable. He has DND figurines he’s shy to tell me about but I try to encourage him. He also makes noises sometimes which I know is stimming and I usually don’t comment on it to not bring more attention to it. He can be quirky and say weird things that if anyone else said it it would be a MAJOR turn off. Not that it’s a turn on but I realize it is who he is which makes me love him more.
Overall I just want to know how to best be in a relationship with someone on the spectrum. How can I support them when they don’t even know the support they need?

2023.03.30 18:57 MC_BennyT Any recommendations for a USB-C to Surface Connect cable?
My current laptop is a Microsoft Surface Book 2. I usually keep the stock charger at home and use the Surface Dock as a charger and hub/expander. The Dock lives in my laptop bag but is kind of bulky.
I've been migrating toward using USB-C for as many devices as possible and downsizing on chargers. I'm thinking of ditching the Surface Dock in favor of just charging via USB-C through my Anker 737 charger.
However, the Surface Book 2 only has the one USB-C port and there might be times when it's more convenient to have that port free while also charging. I have an Anker USB-C hub that supports Power Delivery via a USB-C port but that doesn't seem as elegant as I'd like it to be. I still like the Surface Connect interface because it's magnetic and the charger has more flexible placement than a USB-C cable or hub.
So, I got the idea of finding a USB-C to Surface Connect cable. That way, I can plug into one of the USB-C ports on my Anker charger and charge via the Surface Connect port while keeping my USB-C port available.
I've been looking at possible candidates on Amazon and specifically want one that can push 100W because that's the max output from a USB-C port on the Anker charger. So far, all the ones I've seen will specify that they can push 45W since that's the minimum amount for a Surface device to initiate charging. But they don't specify the max output capability.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a USB-C to Surface Connect cable that can push 100W?

2023.03.30 18:57 hobbit8witch Seeking advice on the multi facets of The Morrigan
I've been worshipping the Morrigan for around 2 years now. Lately I have been feeling dostant from Her due to many reasons, being too busy with work and family life. I haven't tended to my practice in months.
I would like to get back into my regular practice but I find it hard to reconnect to the Morrigan now that I am expecting my 2nd child. Could I call on her Macha aspect as a protector of mother and children or is this a far fetched idea because The Morrigan is often more associated with war, fate and death.
I miss connecting to her but I fear that I am not in a life position to focus on war and death.

The land in this area is underlain by a layer of limestone, eroded and dissolved by rainwater and groundwater to form caverns, holes, and tunnels. This type of terrain is called "karst" and results in many geological features such as wet sinkholes, depressions, natural bridges and a disappearing stream. The hikers can either hike the 3.6-mile Sinkhole Trail to view the numerous sinkholes and geological features, or the 2.8-mile Gum Swamp Trail around a cypress and gum swamp. 2023.03.30 18:56 ZebulaJams How to save changes in Access database within dataGridView
Hey all!
Preface: I'm super new to C#. New as in this is my first attempt at doing anything in C#.
I'm trying to create a GUI where users can see data imported from an Access DB, make changes, and save them. I am able to import the data into the dataGridView, but I have been Googling for two days now and can't seem to find a way to update/save changes to the database from the gridview.
Code:
using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.ComponentModel; using System.Data; using System.Drawing; using System.Linq; using System.Text; using System.Threading.Tasks; using System.Windows.Forms; using System.Data.OleDb; namespace blarg { public partial class Form1 : Form { OleDbCommand cm; OleDbConnection cn; OleDbDataAdapter da; OleDbCommandBuilder cb; DataTable dt; public Form1() { InitializeComponent(); } private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { cn = new OleDbConnection("Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.16.0;Data Source=Z:/AccessDB/DataModuleInfo.accdb"); cm = new OleDbCommand("SELECT * FROM dm_info", cn); dt = new DataTable(); da = new OleDbDataAdapter(cm); da.Fill(dt); dataGridView1.DataSource = dt; // cn.Close(); } private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { try { cm = new OleDbCommand("Update dm_info set [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]_Task_Code, [email protected], [email protected]_Module_Title, [email protected]_Lvl, [email protected]_Code, [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]_Ref, [email protected]_Code, [email protected]_Effort, [email protected] WHERE [email protected]", cn); for (int item = 0; item <= dataGridView1.Rows.Count - 1; item++) { cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("ID", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[0].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Status", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[1].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Act", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[2].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Application", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[3].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@PMC", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[4].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@DMC", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[5].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@DM_Task_Code", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[6].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Cplx", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[7].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Data_Module_Title", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[8].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Mnt_Lvl", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[9].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Skill_Code", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[10].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@SSS", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[11].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Graphic", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[12].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@TL_Ref", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[13].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Contract_Code", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[14].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Support_Effort", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[15].Value); cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Schema", dataGridView1.Rows[item].Cells[16].Value); cn.Open(); cm.ExecuteNonQuery(); cn.Close(); MessageBox.Show("Rows Updated Successfully"); } } // End Try catch (Exception ex) { MessageBox.Show(ex.Message); } // End Catch } } }
Every time I click the button to try to save changes, it throws, "Syntax error in UPDATE statement". I thought it was because my "cm" was within the loop, so I brought it outside, but no luck.
Any ideas on how to save data to Access DB? Seems like a niche issue that not a lot of people have experience with.
Thanks!

2023.03.30 18:55 tennhouse Shop/Loft Feedback
| Hello, I am a local builder in Nashville, TN. I bought 16 acres outside of Nashville, TN and the property came with a foundation that looks like the original land owner had some kind of idea for. I checked out the foundation and looks to be in excellent shape to go vertical with a couple of fixes here and there. I got a draftsman to draw me a plan of a Shop/Loft plan. I intend to live in this for a little bit and ultimately build a home on another location on site. Being a builder I have opportunities for returned/unwanted materials. The window package will not be exactly what is shown on the drawing and the roof line could change as well. So the windows could change location and size I just wanted to throw some on there of how I kind of envision it. I want to incorporate solar, geo-thermal and water reclamation and make the structures on site off the grid. The spot is about 150' in the air on a ridge-top with an opportunity for views of the ridge-tops across the way. 100% secluded and no one is around me for at-least +1500' radius hence the outdoor shower. I am looking for some feedback on my first design. Obviously, I have a couple of details that need to be reflected on the plan such as final grade and furring out the interior block to get a better R value.(Would make the exterior walls 12" instead of the 8" shown) I am also thinking of adding a fireplace to the right side close to the entry way which I look at as my "living room". The second retaining wall will not have to be that long and I was thinking of making an outdoor space for myself in the future but not on this first phase. I want to keep in mind that this will be a future garage for me and a living quarters second. I have a 1973 Airstream 31' dual axel that I plan on parking in the open space at the garage door opening and I want to try and keep that opening available for that too. I Just want to build an efficient spot for me to live in for a couple of years before I build the main home on the property. The photos of the foundation are at the back corner of the plan, closest to the laundry/mechanical closet. The garage door will be a glass one to help with light and hopeful get a decent view.
