2023.03.30 20:11 Daniel_USA PSA: POE2 on PC. To stop your load order from re-organizing/Quickly change load order do the following.
If you have Steam workshop mods and Nexus mods/manually installed mods. The load order will revert to default status anytime you try to mess with it. Trust me, I have hours on that stupid mod menu pain stakingly clicking 100+ mods up and down only for the stupid thing to revert after I was done.
So here is whats going on.
When using Steam mods they are automatically loaded at the bottom.
Normally mods load by folder name in alphabetical order so A loads at the top and z loads at the bottom.
This is one way to organize mods without needing to manually do it.
The issue arises when using Steam mods and manual mods. Manual mods follow the same structure but for some reason Steam mods are always loaded AFTERwards and also the same structure but by using mod number (I'm pretty sure its the number but could be wrong).
This makes it impossible to save a load order.
Well I come to help!
After 3 days of [email protected]#%ing trying to mod here is how you can stop it from re-organizing as well as how to change mod load order super fast without having to click one arrow at a time.
First you need to be on PC of course. Then find
C:\Users[NAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Obsidian Entertainment\Pillars of Eternity II
NAME is your user name on windows.
inside you will find modconfig.jsn.
You can open that file with a txt editor or even an updated wordpad (which has line numbers on it).
This displays your current load order and you will notice that at the bottom will be the steam mods.
So here is how to make it not change. Right click modconfig.jsn, go to properties, then click read-only in attributes. click apply, click okay.
Now when you load the game it won't automatically change the load order.
Now, you can go back to the file, change the txt in the file.
a mod is {modinfo}, and only the last mod is {modinfo} no coma.
change your order and save it, make sure to put it to read only. launch the game and go see your load order. if it hasn't updated click refresh. At this point if you don't have readonly on then it will reorganize your mods to default. if it is on then it will organize to the order you manually did.
ALSO you can edit the .jsn file while the game is open just make sure its on read-only before hitting on refresh in the in-game mod menu.
There you go, a quick way to edit your mod order AND make sure it stays in that order.
PS! MAKE SURE YOU RESTART YOUR GAME IF YOU DID CHANGE THE ORDER WHILE IN GAME!

I am currently working at a client that has the absolute worst specs of any client I've worked with in 20 years.
Now the specs from the implementation that were written by the implementation partner, are decent. It's the specs for anything now, in their production environment.
Today I got a request to change a custom report outside of the area (ie. Sales, or Production, or Finance) that the requester works in. It's literally a sentence that tells me absolutely nothing.
I have to find out: what program or transaction needs to be changed? Am I adding a calculated value or a value from an existing table-field? If it's calculated, what do I need to calculate it? You know, basic information to be given in a FS requesting a change.
Since I couldn't seem to get an answer, I then asked, how will it be tested? Figure that will get the gears turning to help me understand what it is they are expecting. But, they don't really know how it'll be tested, but they'll know if the amount is wrong.
End of rant. Nothing can be done about this, I just need to keep digging.

Naturally, the folks at Rockstar Games are not offering up any juicy tidbits about the inevitable release. So everything we know, or think we know, has come by way of leaks and rumors. To that end, multiple leakers are reporting that GTA 6 might not come out until 2024 or even sometime 2025. As things stand right now, YouTuber Tom Henderson says the next version of GTA is very early in development.
Henderson notes that, historically, he has not been associated with GTA leaks (he's been more plugged into the Battlefield scene), but the information he shared in a YouTube video is based on what he has heard from multiple sources. He is not the only one that is hearing GTA 6 is still several years away from being released, either.

Given the success of GTA Online, it seems Rockstar Games might not be in a rush to push out another major release. At the same time, it's said the developer is focusing "very heavily on employee well being," which in part means avoiding the crunch that precedes a game's release. It's said GTA 6 will launch on PC and the latest generation game consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S). By taking its time in releasing GTA 6, Rockstar Games will have a much wider audience of compatible console owners to drum up sales. And while not mentioned, the same could be true in the PC space, as hopefully discrete GPUs will be plentiful again by the the time GTA 6 arrives.
As for the setting, Henderson says GTA 6 will in fact mark a return to Vice City. Rockstar Games may opt to add more locations to the map over time (post launch), but it looks like a modern take on Vice City is headed to the GTA universe.
