But hello regardless. I'm a 26M, and I work a very exciting office job. That's right, I get to do all the fun stuff, like nagging clients who refuse to reply to me, filling in forms, and praying for a 300% pay rise. All the fun stuff like that.
Oh, and I'm plus sized. Which I should have mentioned right away, but then you wouldn't have heard about the extinction of the unicorns.
I speak German, Italian, passable French, and I'm learning Spanish. Oh, and I speak English, which would be an odd skill to be lacking. Quite something to be able to fluently write English but not be able to speak it.
I'm a big History fan, which some people have mistaken for me being an expert. Trust me, I'm not. It was one of my worst GCSE grades. But I'm fascinated by how life was a long time ago, the older the better. Anything post-Hastings starts to get a bit too modern, I like the really old stuff. Stuff like Ancient Egypt, or even older. I'd love to get in a time machine and see all this history for myself.
Currently buying my first house! Got my mortgage, just gotta wait for all the paperwork to go through. Woo!
People usually message me to ask what I'm looking for, so let me answer it: I don't know. A cure for loneliness I guess? So come and be that cure!
In terms of pop culture, I'm a big Assassin's Creed, Doctor Who and Star Wars fan. Believe it or not, I've never read/watched Harry Potter or any of the MCU movies. I'll get around to them one day, I swear. I mostly game on the PS5/PC, although I do have a Switch and Xbox. Other than what I mentioned, I play stuff like Hitman and Red Dead a lot.

Obviously, all writing needs some level of worldbuilding to fit the tone/vibe of the story. But past the bare minimum needed for the story to make sense, adding random "creative" new details for no reason doesn't really add anything, and almost always serves as a cheap distraction from lack of character depth, meaningful themes, plot, or delving into concepts. A lot of the time it feels less like a cohesive story and more a kid rambling, just slapping whatever comes to mind into the story.
For example, a lot of Studio Ghibli movies or Harry Potter; adding a bunch of random spells or fictional animals just because it's fun takes away from a story's capability to be meaningful, serious, or engaging, because it arbitrarily adds things whenever it wants to. Avatar: The Last Airbender had this to a certain extent by adding a new convenient animal or bending ability whenever plot was running dry.
In comparison, stories that are more rooted in reality with only one or two major "gimmicks" have a lot more space to focus on characters, plot, and the gimmick repercussions on the world and characters. It's a lot easier for them to have a clear, engaging, high-stakes plot with a moving theme/message. Some good examples are Chainsaw Man, Artemis Fowl, or House MD where the gimmicks are devils/fairies/an impossibly genius doctor, and the plots focus more on how the singular gimmick would interact with the world. All three stories have much more developed characters, themes, and messages too, and I'd argue at least partially because there's not a ton of unnecessary, over the top worldbuilding.
Ig in conclusion, I don't see why stories with a ton of worldbuilding are automatically considered great writing, especially when excess creative details are prioritized over plot, characters, or themes. It's known that the game is considered canon, so it supposedly does happen in the same universe as the harry potter movies and books. I know it's still very soon for writers to publish new material related to the game, but is there any info on what is supposed to happen to our main character after the game's ending?

I have always gifted her a Harry Potter book for her birthdays. She really likes the series and has even watched all the movies
Recently she came across the game on a YouTube video and has been pestering me to let her play it on my phone, later i came to know that the game isn't supported for mobile phones and is only available on PCs and video game boxes.
Despite her age she's really well behaved and unlike other similar aged kids she doesn't ask me to buy her toys or makeup kits and even if she does its only on a rare occasion so on her upcoming birthday which is in 4 weeks i plan to give her a PC with which she can play the game she's been asking me so much
While i do know how to use a computer i don't really understand how the hardware part of it works, so i went to my local hardware shop and inquired about a setup that can play the game
The cheapest option they quoted me was around $880, this was too expensive for me because my monthly salary is just $220. now i don't really know if the shop is just trying to scam me or computer parts are just that expensive in general so I started searching up the internet and came across this community by chance. I tried my best to understand the know how's but i am not sure if i can trust myself yet.
After a bit of research I have come up with this:
Microprocessor: i7-2700k
RAM: 8gb
Graphics Proccessor: GT 1030
Disk: 256GB HDD
Motherboard: B75MA-E33
Power Supply: Zebronics 170W
I don't know if the above configuration is any good or not, i have been overwhelmed by the amount of information so i would like to hear the thoughts of someone who knows about this kind of stuff before buying blindly. My budget is very tight so I would prefer to keep it around $250-$270 if possible. I know its very less but i just need something that can run the game without any issues don't really mind if it looks ugly or heavy.
I live in a third world country(India) so the prices may differ since we are taxed heavily on Electronics related items. Also i learned that one can play the game in a video game box too but our TV is too old so i don't think it'll work with that and the local shop here doesn't sell games for them either.

As a muggle, you'd have to forever follow the Statue of Secrecy. You'd have to keep silent about your partner's true identity at all times. This relationship means lying and making up stuff all the time to your muggle family, friends, coworkers, etc. Could you do that?

Some of my hobbies are gaming, listening to music and watching anime and some sports.
At the moment my go to games have been the new mw2 ow2 harry potter legacy and just got sons of the forest i play many others as well
My favourite anime at the moment has been castlevania on netflix highly recommend checking it out i have watched tons of others.

In that time I have played in and ran several systems ranging from Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Shadowrun, Star Wars, Star Trek, Call of Cthulhu, A Song of Ice and Fire, D20 Modern, and Hero.
Since joining Roll20 with my original account back in 2014, however, I have been introduced to more homebrew systems and settings. Which has led to me almost exclusively running a homebrew system in established settings. Primarily popular Anime, Video games, Novels, Cartoons, Movies, and Live Action Series.
