Hi! I’m thinking of staying for some time in an old RV my family owns, and I was wondering if I can possibly get some internet/wifi for it? Here’s the situation:

• The RV is stationary - we haven’t moved it from its spot in years and don’t plan to do so.
• The RV’s location is next to a lake, but it’s on land that doesn’t necessarily have an address (it’s private property).
• At this location, the cell service isn’t great unless you walk closer to the lake. At the RV, you’re lucky to get a single bar of cell service.
• We can hook the RV up to powewater.

I’m hoping I can find a way to get some internet running up in the RV, but I wasn’t sure if that was possible given the circumstances.

So, last week I was going to lose my virginity to the most amazing guy I've ever met in my life. After class we went on a nature walk and he took me to my favorite lake area. After a couple hours he took me out to eat and let me order whatever I wanted, I tried to not get too much but I couldn't help myself (He even let me get desert). After dinner we took a walk near his house and watched the sunset while laying on a blanket, he lives near a park with this massive hill and it was so beautiful.
Then we went to his house and I started feeling uncomfortable. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be rude, but he kissed me on my lips and I kissed him back. He picked me up, which was incredible because he's a fairly short and shrimpy guy but it was so romantic. We went to his room and that's when I knew that I didn't want to go through with it. He stripped his clothes but before he removed underwear I asked him to stop. He asked if I was okay and I told him that I wasn't ready and that I wanted to go home. He sighed and told me okay and that he needed to use the bathroom. He took a while but when he came back out he put his clothes back on and asked if I was ready to go and I said yes. When he drove me home it was a silent drive but he stopped at an ice cream place and bought me some ice cream. I said thanks but he didn't say anything still so I just kept quiet and ate my ice cream. When I got home I tried giving him a side hug but he took a few seconds before hugging me back. When I got in the house, luckily my father wasn't there, I took a shower and finished the ice cream while watching netflix then fell asleep. I still felt really bad and texted him the next day, he didn't respond, but later that night he apologized and said he was just frustrated but it wasn't my fault. He asked if I wanted to come over the following week, this week, and I told him yes and that we can try again. He got really excited and called me babe. So idk what I'm going to do, idk if I'm going to go through with it because it's just so crazy lol. I do appreciate that he treated me nicely though :)

Hey everyone, my girlfriend and I are planning to visit the Banff area (from New York) for a week at the end of May. We've quickly realized that accommodations such as hotels and Airbnbs in Banff and Canmore can be quite expensive. We've narrowed down two towns on either sides of Banff that have affordable accommodations: Cochrane and Radium Hot Springs. These towns are both an hour to an hour and a half from Banff and even further from spots like Lake Louise or hikes deeper into the park. We were initially willing to stay in Radium Hot Springs but then got concerned with where we could find affordable places to eat. We don't mind cooking, but from my research, both the restaurants and grocery store in Radium are very pricy and have limited options. On the other hand, Cochrane seems to have many more options for food as it is a larger town. Another thing to consider is that Radium Hot Springs is already deep into the mountains so we may not have to drive far every single day to visit a cool hiking spot where as Cochrane is around an hour outside the Rockies. Does anyone have suggestions on what other factors we should consider when choosing to stay in one place over the other? Either way we have to drive quite a bit to get to desired spots but I'm wondering what area will be cheaper to stay in overall. Are there also cool spots to see closer to Cochrane before Banff? Just trying to weigh the options here. If there are any other towns closer to Banff with affordable Airbnbs (or hotels) I'm all ears. Would appreciate any locals' or avid travelers' input here. I’m up visiting Portland this week, and I had asked which course I should play. I decided to skip Pier Park, and instead went to Horning’s Hideout. Man, I’m so glad that I did. Today was beautiful. The Highlands pitch & putt was a fun warm up, but the Canyon course was something special. I went +14 on it, and almost lost my Lobster on hole 10, but I had an absolute blast! So thank you Portland disc golfers for the advice! I’ll be sure to hit up Milo, Buxton, Blue Lake, Pier Park, and all the other great courses y’all have the next time I’m up here. Cheers!

I’ve posted about living in our RV in an RV park before but if we end up buying a small lot in city limits of Detroit, can we just live there? If we put hookups and a pad down. Eventually we would like to build on said lot but it will be at least 6-8 months before we talk to a bank about it. I'm going to be doing a 2 week road camping trip through Vancouver Island and I want to see as much of it as humanly possible. The plan generally is to start in Victoria and go clockwise around the island and finishing again in Victoria.

My name is Riley and I have schizophrenia. Awhile back I posted about having a walk a couple of times and I met some really great people that are now legitimate friends, so I'd like to try to organize it again- shooting for this Saturday on March 25th. Planning to visit island from April 8th to April 12th . What will be the best spot for kayaking or whale watching ? Is this the right season for these activities? Can you recommend any must see places. Going skip Tofino due to time crunch
Here is our itinerary Day 1- Take morning 9am ferry to Swartz bay , visit Bucharest garden , museum and inner harbour

A numerical downgrade only. After 1/4 century in the family it's time to retire the 1998 Mazda 626 2.0 automatic to a junkyard somewhere, rust is eating away at the rear frame near the suspension cradle and around the rear driver side door frame and the rear main seal has sprung a leak...not dropping the trans to fix that at 204,000 miles when the trans has been out once before for a reman unit and the seal was replaced then. Labor is free but it's just time to move onto a car from this century.
I'm eyeballing something around a 2016+ 2.0 Sport sedan with the 6spd auto for a daily driver. I just have a couple questions I hope someone here and help me sort out.
Most importantly, how much of a pain/impossible is it to change the radio and/or get clean line out from the stock radio in the 2016 model years? I've found info about the base system in older model years but I'm not sure if it's applicable going forward. My 626 has a small system (JL 300/2 running 2x 4ohm TangBand 6x9 subs free air in the rear deck wired down to a 2ohm mono and some amp running some Kappa 5x7 coax in the front doors around 120ish watt rms) and I'd like to do something similar in the new car since I'll have it for at least another decade I hope and I really do enjoy appreciating my own handiwork.
How are these holding up to rust? I live near Chicago and we salt like we're trying to turn Lake Michigan into the new Great Salt Lake, seeing that I'm looking to keep it for a decade it's pretty important that it handles this well. It's probably going to be staying parked outside, the garage is reserved for her car because I'm kind and for my summer car because it's only a 2 car garage.
How intrusive is the ABS and traction control? Like on a scale of 1 being ABS comes on after a wheel has locked and you can liberally apply brakes or throttle at the limit of grip and 10 being if you even so much as look at the gas or brake pedal when the road is moist the system is already killed throttle and began massaging your foot. My 626 doesn't have either, my 1st car and summer car have ABS that will let you lock a wheel a little before coming in to help.
FW6A-EL are mostly problem free with some rare instances of issues that may or may not have been owner created problems.
Really appreciate some helpful input and hope that it pans out to get another Mazda I can make my own again. Thanks everyone!

Respect Robbie Reyes, the Ghost Rider!

"I just won your stupid hell race by showing you that a Ghost Rider doesn't have to ride alone. That maybe it's best when we don't. Because amid all the hellfire and penance and racing to beat the devil, it's family that keeps us sane."

Robbie Reyes is the latest in a long line of Ghost Riders, but one thing makes him very different. Typically, a potential Ghost Rider makes a deal with the devil and as a result, they are bound to a Spirit of Vengeance and become a Ghost Rider. That's not the case with Robbie Reyes.
In order to help feed himself and his disabled kid brother Gabe, Robbie competed in an illegal street race in Hillrock Heights, CA. Unfortunately, the race was busted up by the cops and Robbie found himself chased down. He gave up, expecting to be arrested, but was instead gunned down by the mercenaries that were actually responsible for the bust. That would have been the end of the story were it not for the spirit of Eli Morrow, Robbie's uncle and a deranged, Satan-worshipping serial killer. Eli had been haunting the car, and when Robbie died Eli possessed his body and brought him back to life, complete with new Ghost-Rider-adjacent powers indicative of Eli's connection with Hell. Robbie's willpower and good nature battled with Eli's bloodlust and unhinged personality for quite some time, making it difficult for Robbie to act as a Ghost Rider.
Later on, Robbie found himself embroiled in a conflict between a thrown-together group of Avengers and Loki commanding a bunch of nigh-unstoppable Celestials. Despite feeling way out of his league, Robbie fought alongside Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and others to defeat them, and ended up being the newest (and youngest) member of the reformed Avengers.
During his time with the Avengers, Robbie felt as though Eli had left him at some point (and in fact, he had recently gotten a proper Spirit of Vengeance as a replacement), but before he could get a handle on his powers, Robbie was corrupted by minions of the Shadow Colonel and was used as a pawn against the Avengers, during which time Robbie was trapped in his own personal hell inside his mind. While trapped there, he called out to anyone to help him escape, which drew the attention of Johnny Blaze, the newest King of Hell. After racing and defeating Blaze for the possession of Robbie's Spirit of Vengeance, Robbie accepted his role as a proper Ghost Rider and remains with the Avengers to this day.
Not bad for a street kid from East LA.

A note on lethality: early on, Robbie doesn't fight to kill anyone, usually opting to restrain or incap them and call the cops instead. He finds it difficult to resist the urge especially with Eli tempting him, however, and soon makes a deal with Eli that he'll kill the wicked to sate Eli's bloodlust, but only the truly wicked.
Chains
Like other Riders, Robbie can control his chains and make them grow to ridiculous lengths.

Penance Stare
For the entirety of his pre-Avengers runs, Robbie never had Penance Stare. In a fight with Starbrand, Robbie is hit by Starbrand's lasers and retaliates with Penance Stare. After the fight, Robbie expresses surprise that he did it, since he didn't even know he was capable of using it.

Robbie has good durability, but so far doesn't appear to possess the regeneration that other Ghost Riders have. When he first got shot to death and was healed by Eli Morrow his wounds vanished, but that was a one-time thing and Robbie wouldn't have been resurrected twice.

Robbie's Ride: The Hell Charger

Like most other Ghost Riders, Robbie transforms his vehicle (often in an explosion of hellfire) into a powered-up Ghost Rider version of itself. Unlike most other Ghost Riders who prefer motorcycles, Robbie drives some good old fashioned American Muscle.

• Chulk describes the car as going up to 6000 horsepower
  • Here's a couple videos on how horsepower works (it helps determine how much force the Hell Charger can output and how fast it can go): 1, 2. For reference, most Formula 1 cars hit around 750 horsepower, most Nascar cars are typically in the 800-900 horsepower range, and the Koenigsegg Jesko which can reach around 300 mph (482 km/h) has about 1600 horsepower at its best. At the high end, Top Fuel drag racers can wield up to 11,000 horsepower in a few brief seconds of acceleration.
  • Amadeus is known for doing mathematical calculations of pretty much everything, so he's a fairly reliable character for this.

Hellfire

• Regularly leaves a large trail of flames in its wake
• Swallowed by a sea monster and rapidly generates enough heat to make the monster spit it back up
• When Robbie is absolutely furious, the Hell Charger transforms so violently that cars around it spontaneously explode
• Savage She-Hulk takes a blast of flame to the face and it makes her angrier
• Balder's flesh burns just from driving it

Intangibility
Robbie can control the tangibility of his car and move through it at will.

• Raises through the roof to jump to an opponent
• The car comes to him and phases through his body so they can start driving
