A dream is a mental construct. Whenever one falls asleep they experience vivid hallucinations. These are impossible to record or properly re-account.
Psychosis is a mental condition where the victim experiences very disturbing hallucinations or thoughts. Think of things like schizophrenia, Then take the effects of that condition and amplify it. Psychosis victims report hearing whispers, Seeing bugs crawl on their skin and see the faces of people they have never met.
When I studied psychology I learnt about these things and they fascinated me. I went on to get a degree in psychological study and have been working as a psychologist and health scientist for 17 years.
I was contacted by my facility about a matter of a psychosis patient, While rare I have stumbled upon many of them and they act the same. In-consistent nonsensical babbling and severe PTSD. Most of the cases are results of tripping on acid but some are caused from depression and schizophrenia. This case was different.
When i arrived the patient seemed to be normal. When i sat down with her she opened up before i could even speak. "Doctor. Alexander." She took a deep breath. "I see dreams when I'm awake, Not hallucinations. Right now when i look at you, All i see is spots across your face. Like polka dots." I had to process this for a moment. "Dreams you say." I started to think.
"Y-Yeah.. Dreams, Nothing is normal, Every piece of furniture in this room looks different from each other, Like that vase behind you, It’s not right.. It looks.. Folded in.. Like an origami vase.. I can't describe it."
I didn't understand her. Dreams? This doesn't seem like psychosis.After a few hours of talking about what she has been seeing, How she feels and if her mind is feeling foggy, The only thing i could partially diagnose was severe schizophrenia.
"Take this prescription of Haloperidol, Take 2 a day, 1 in the morning and 1 at night. If you have more issues, come back here and we can discuss it. In 2 weeks I will do a mental health re-evaluation so I can see progress."
There were no issues for around a week until I got an urgent call. "Sir. One of your patients, Jane, Shes gone batshit fucking crazy, Like seriously she cant even talk without screaming that something is taking her soul, we need you down here NOW.”
I rushed down to my facility, Thoughts raced through my head "Has she stopped taking her meds?"I shook all those thoughts off as i swerved into the parking lot, As i darted inside the familiar jingle of the bell above the door startled me "Fucking bell.." I whispered under my breath as I ran faster than I have before.
When I arrived at the emergency care block I heard the screaming from the entrance. It was deep guttural wails that filled with so much dread it hurt my heart to listen to. When I stormed in there, Jane stood there on the ground covered in blood.
"THEY ARE HOLDING ME. SOMEBODY STOP THEM. SOMEBODY PLEASE"
She was screaming bloody murder and her mouth was bleeding. When I saw her state I immediately asked one of the nurses for a sedative to reduce her condition.
As she went I stood there with her trying to comfort her."What do you see jane." I overcame her wails with a calm demeanor and all of a sudden everything stopped. She seemed normal.
"They.. They stopped. They are staring at you."I looked at her calmly. I knew these were psychosis symptoms and I started to comfort her."Jane, You are experiencing very vivid hallucinations. It is called schizophrenic psychosis. Have you been taking the prescription I gave you?"
"Y..Yes doctor i have but.. it doesn't work, Everywhere i go i see the same things i saw before, Except this time everything seems more cold.. Beforehand everything seemed more colorful. Now it is damp."
"Jane, I am going to have to check you into this facility for a full psychiatric re-examination and study. If this is not schizophrenia, I will have to figure out what it really is so I can properly diagnose you and get you the help you need."
She began to cry terribly. "w..why can't i just be normal, why me? what have i done?" I began to pat her back as i sighed. "Let me help you up" as i stood i reached my hand out. As she grabbed it i almost yelped. She was extremely cold, Almost frozen. My hand felt pain as she held it but I pushed on as she stood.
"I will have some nurses check you in and we will begin tomorrow. Please signal for help if you see anything, we will try and get you the right medication to stop it.. But I can't guarantee anything, We don't know what we are dealing with."
As I walked off to check out I signaled to the front desk to call the nurses for Jane's psychiatric re-evaluation. They nodded and they called into the intercom "We need 3 available for psych unit 7"
The sounds muffled as I walked out, I felt really bad for jane. But I knew she was getting help.
As i arrived home the warm smell of the autumn trees luminated like a light. I felt more calm as I walked through my door. The gentle creaking of the hinges made me cringe as I shut the door. The warm air rushed out of the room as I walked to the kitchen.
As I grabbed my bottle of rum I got a call. "What the fuck is it now.." I sort of just waddled over agitated. I checked the caller ID and noticed that it was an unknown caller. Out of habit I declined the call and went back to my bench. As I poured the rum the iridescent smell of pleasure filled the air.
The phone rang once more. As I sighed I walked over and answered the unknown caller. "Hello Dr. Alexander, How may I help you."
"Good evening Dr. Alexander, We are here to identify a patient of yours, Jane Myers correct?"
Confused, I confirmed his assumption "Yes that's right, What is it?"
"Sir I work for a certain agency, I can't tell you its policy. Tomorrow we will be at your front desk awaiting your arrival. It's to do with her condition. If you believe this is a wrong contact, please confirm so we can move on."
I was extremely confused at this point, I thought it was a prank at first but it all seemed serious. There was no underlying tone to his voice, it seemed raspy, he sounded too old to be a prank caller.
"Uh.. Okay? I'll make sure to be there by 12:00 PM."
The call ended abruptly as I whispered to myself.
"What the fuck..."
I kind of shook it all off, Maybe it was her family? I don't know but I'll figure it out tomorrow. The rest of the night went uneventful and as i faded off to sleep i thought of jane. I dreamt about terrible black figures standing above me and Jane on the floor of the psychiatric unit. They were almost fuzzy, like blurry, I couldn't properly conceive their appearance, they were just human shaped blurry structures.
When I finally woke up it was 10:30 pm. I woke up later than usual so I rushed to get ready. As I finished getting dressed I poured myself some coffee, as I sipped on the hot beverage the aroma of earth filled my nose. I felt relaxed, I thought to myself "Today will be a good , happy day." I was trying to make myself feel better about the coming events.
When I arrived at my facility I saw a black car with tinted windows outside the front. "Must be them." I said to myself as I wandered through the door, The bell startled me and I kind of froze for a second. I finally collected my thoughts and I saw 2 men in plain black suits. They stood up to greet me as if they knew who I was.
"Hello Dr. Alexander, My name is Harry and this is my partner Sam. We are here about your patient Jane Myers, It is to do with her condition. May we see her?" I said "Why do you need to see her?"
They both adjusted their positions and Sam said
"We are with the government, We are here to review this patient's condition. We cannot tell you why but it is important, It is research and we believe she has a rare condition. "
I thought for a moment before finally obliging. As I led them down the plain white halls I started to get more anxious, I started to overthink "Are they here to kill her?" I shook off the thoughts. They were stupid, Simply just speculation.
As we arrived at psych unit 7 we walked in to see Jane on the bed being talked to by some nurses and another psych doctor. As they walked in they shut the door behind them. "What we are about to tell you is to be upmost classified among only you"
Everyone looked at each other extremely confused but before any questions were asked they opened up.
"Jane, You have a condition called petriscarphy Dream Psychosis. It is a condition where well.. Instead of you falling asleep to dream, You see them awake. You are the only known suspected subject with this rare condition. We want to record what you see. A team will be arriving soon to set-up the right conditions for this to be possible."
As Harry finished his sentence I almost couldn't believe what I was hearing.. Were they being serious? Before I could do anything, The other psych doctor in the room, His name was Terry, Stood up and got in the 2 men's faces. They remained calm as he spouted off at them.
"What the fuck do you think your doing? Are you joking? That is nonsense, I request you leave immediately before I call security."
The 2 men stood there silent as Terry stared at them. He had a crazy look in his eye and then he shoved harry. The moment he touched him, Sam grabbed a pistol out from the underside of his jacket and aimed at Terry.
"Sir. Calm down, I assure you this is not a joke. We are being perfectly cooperative with you but if you try to do anything like that again then I will be forced to put you down."
I remember the phrasing of that sentence "Put you down" He spoke like he was a higher being and was about to just.. Phase Terry out of existence.
As Terry backed up, shocked he sat back down and became silent. I swear I could hear the air in the room, Not for long however. Jane began to sob and wail softly. "They are back.. They are upset, They don't want you recording them, Please.. Go.. Don't do this. They will kill me. PLEASE"
She pleaded with the men but they stood in silence. After 5 minutes of Jane's agonizing wailing we heard the sounds of frantic footsteps and before long, men in white coats and masks entered the room. They had a label on their coats. It was a blue circle with black in the middle, It had the initials above it "N.A.O.S"
"We are here for Ja-" They stood silent as she continued wailing
"JUST LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE"
She grew silent as she sat there un-moving.
That's when she slipped unconscious, Slouching over into her bed and making no sound. We sounded an alarm that a patient had fallen unconscious and nurses rushed in ignoring the men. After around an hour we stabilized her.
The man stood around in silence and once everyone was out but me and Terry, They got to work. I watched as one of the white coated men pulled out a small vial with a blue liquid in it. He grabbed a syringe and started to draw the liquid. It looked viscous and bubbled at the top as he finally pulled out the syringe.
After he was done the 4 other men in the room grabbed out small pieces of equipment and started to arrange it. The parts clacked together and made the same sound as metal being dropped onto a hard surface. The echoes of the screeching sound made me cringe once again.
When it was done it looked like a microscope was attached to a plate with glass in the middle. A camera lens was attached and the coated man squirted a small amount of the viscous blue liquid onto the plate and then he grabbed another device. It looked like something out of some saw movie.
It was a dome shaped metal helmet with tubes running out from 4 holes surrounding where the head should go. These tubes ran to a socket in the device. I started to feel sick "What the fuck is all this" I murmured angrily. "This is a device that is used to transmit the electrical waves inside the patients head and can be transferred to this magnoscope to then print out the photographs. The liquid you see is well.. I actually can't tell you, It's not that simple, But it's classified."
I started to boil with anger. This was inhumane, Finding someone's terrible condition and using it for research instead of helping them? I was considering trying to stop them but I knew they had guns. There's no way I was leaving either.
Finally after a few minutes of assembly they attached the device to Jane's head and a sound started to play. It was like the sound you expect electricity to make, a little quiet constant zapping with the occasional crackle.
As i watched jane she started to twist and turn in discomfort even though she was unconscious, I felt so fucking bad for her, Everything about this was so twisted, It seemed so.. Wrong.
As she squirmed and fiddled the sounds started to fade as the liquid that was on that glass plate had turned to a deep red color, almost like blood. As I stood looking at it I smelt the sensation of chemicals, like bleach and drain cleaner.
I started to feel like I was going to break down. My mind was literally foggy as I stared at this contraption. Another sound started up, It was like that of a printer but much quieter, I could barely hear it. As I stared at the pictures being pushed out from the side I started to feel more nauseous. Something about this felt wrong. I couldn't describe it.
Finally the coated men approached the pictures and they examined them. The moment one of them looked at one of those pictures he froze in place and looked shocked. I could see the look of fear in that man's eyes. As he stared longer and longer he started to shake uncontrollably. After an agonizing few seconds he grabbed the syringe with the remaining liquid and screamed.
"WE HAVE TO KILL IT, WE MUST BANISH IT, WHAT THE FUCK IS IT"
The man's once professional manor turned into malice and hatred as he injected Jane with this syringe full of this liquid. She immediately started to seize, a Black goo was coming from her mouth and she flatlined almost immediately.
Sam and harry immediately upholstered there weapons and aimed at the man
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING" Sam screamed at the man, Finally he lunged at them, Immediately 2 ringing gunshots sounded as the man fell, Everything went to shit, Screaming and crying occurred throughout the unit and that was when i took my chance to run, Not before grabbing the photos however. As I ran the screams echoed and the sobbing and crying of other patients sounded.
I made it out to my car and swerved out of the lot. I almost hit another car but i managed to narrowly avoid it and race home, My heart was beating so fast it felt like i was about to have a heart attack. As I made it into my driveway I took no time grabbing the photos and my bag and rushing right inside.
When i made it in i slammed my door shut, The creaking didnt phase me this time, Nothing did, I was focused on getting away from whatever the fuck had just happened.
When I finally calmed down enough to function I sat down with the photos and looked at them. Dear god, The terrors this woman must have faced.
The first photo had a black and white vivid pattern, In amongst it i could see an opaque face, It was perfectly symmetrical, Almost too perfect, The faded patterns ran through it like a vintage photo but the only detail i saw were the eyes, In the pupils i saw another cascade of photos, It was the same perfect face over and over. I counted how many I could.. I counted 9.
That one disturbed me, It felt ominous and had an almost aura around it, It was clearly a sinister vision, It was... Really odd to me however, This wasn't what Jane had described to me as her visions.
The next photo is why I'm writing this. Why I'm ready to accept death from the organizations that conduct these inhumane things. I saw a structure, In around it was a show with white fade, But the center had a very recognisable shape. It was a single long line with more lines stretching off of it, they formed a pattern that looked like a spider, well kind of. The thing that disturbed me was the one word that stood under it.
It was in an almost unrecognizable state, it was scribbly, faded and pretty much blurred, but I could read it. There stood the single word: Universe.
That was when i thought i was hallucinating, I started to feel sick, I dry heaved and eventually vomited as i stared at the photo, It doesn't sound disturbing when i put it into words but when you look at it... It almost seems fake, like a vision of its own.
It's been a week since then. The facility is closed and I doubt it's gonna open soon. I've been staring at this photo for a long time, A very long time. And I swear whenever I look away I see blurry dark faces staring back at me.

Hi, so I’m updating my new password for my DS login for VA.gov and I can get all requirements to turn green except the “When changing a password, your new password must have at least 8 characters be different” portion. I literally put in random letters and numbers in no particular order and it still stays red and will not allow me to register a new password. Has anyone had this happen?

Longtime lurkecommentator but never posted my own story. There’s a lot of backstory that I’m not sure I want to get into. Summary: My mother rented to my MIL, and that’s how I met my DH. She joked about us dating but once we went out, she texted my mother about stopping me from going out with him. We began dating, and she began shit talking about me directly to my mother. I moved out into his apartment. We stayed until the lease was done and now moved back in with my mother. She left and bought a house with my mother’s help. Legend: OSIL = Older sister in law, YSIL = Younger sister in law, SFIL = Step father in law
With that out of the way, we had been dating for a year, and we decided to get married. We’re now married! Neither side has actually congratulated us, ever. Both sides are Christian but where my family is nondenominational, his is LDS. He has younger siblings. I’ll be fudging some details to keep this story more anonymous.
My SIL’s baptism was last weekend. I had decided that DH needed a white button down, tie, and some dress shoes for the occasion. Apparently, his mom had messaged him asking to wear green to match the family. I picked a dress, and we matched his outfit to mine. My outfit was pale green, and white. We managed to find a tie and pocket square to match my dress. ( I hadn’t been told about the matching until we had already purchased our clothes, so the matching family was entirely coincidental. )
We get there, and MIL/older SIL are wearing white. This was obviously coordinated yet no one told ME to wear white. I was immediately annoyed but brushed it off. We take family photos, OSIL stayed in the car to avoid us. DH made a joke about her being so loving. MIL acknowledged it but brushed it off. I’m ignored the entire time, we take photos. and help take the food from car into the kitchen. We end up going into another part of the church while we wait for the rest of the guests. DH and I help fold the program pamphlets. The baptism went well! I specially called MIL to sit with us. She played dumb and went to go sit with OSIL. YSIL was actually sitting with us, and was handholding DH because she was anxious about the water bit. That pissed me off but oh well. We go towards the kitchen to eat afterwards. DH went to go get food for us but was suckered into playing lunch lady for a bit. He went to go talk to OSIL as it’s been a tense relationship. I didn’t have my phone and was being ignored by the rest of the family so I went outside for a bit. DH joined me because he knew I was having a rough time with his family. We came back and a guest came over and talked to us. First person to talk to me after the service! We were in charge of bringing forks and a cake for YSIL. Found out that SFIL went out to get forks. Like they didn’t trust us to bring them? We ate and then got out the cake. We went out and sang happy birthday for our YSIL. We had cake and all. While this was going on, MIL and the rest of the family were in the kitchen gossiping. After the cake, a woman kept talking to DH and I was getting tired of being ignored. When we went to say bye to MIL, she said thank you for coming specifically to DH. Hugged him and then immediately started talking to someone else. I’m so tired of being treated like an outsider to this family. I have a close relationship with YSIL & BIL but then again they’re children. The family is a whole mess because they refuse to respect me and actually talk to me. I refuse to try with them because of the things that MIL has said about me. At this point, we’re only LC because of the kids. I don’t even know why I’m posting because I don’t know if there’s any advice that would even help us. I guess I want to rant because not many people know what I’m going through in terms of In-Laws. Not even my brothers know. Sorry for any formatting issues or mistakes, I’m doing this on mobile.

So, my husband is pretty apathetic toward my stepdaughter. She was an accident and not planned. He just doesn't like anything she does and he often says to me "how is she even related to me?" and that "as her stepmom you should be teaching her how to act." Hello, I didn't raise her (BM did and does!). I just try to be her cool aunt. He bitches that "she's just like her mother" all the time. Duh.
My husband and I are into dogs, hiking, backpacking, the beach, road trips, reading books and discussing them, eating out at "experience" restaurants, dressing up for each other, date nights, cooking, hiking, trips one-night to random places like the Winchester Mystery House, seeing movies together, tarot cards, systems engineering, etc.
SD is into her pet rats, doesn't read, shows really no interest in self-care, doesn't watch movies, and has no hobbies that I can figure out. She's kind of just an emo teen with a rat. She absolutely hates being brought out (no matter how much luxury or what it costs). She has no interest in a gaming system, computer, TV, anything. I think she may be depressed and am pushing for therapy.
How can you not go out, not read, not watch TV, not watch movies, etc. and be entertained? It makes no sense.
She also ticks like every box my husband hates with her hobbies and limited self-care. Having rats as pets (he's always been disgusted by pet rodents), wearing huge fake nails, giant hoop earrings, wearing shorts that leave nothing to the imagination, she doesn't read well or at all for academic gain, has generally poor hygiene (she has funk which I'm trying to address... It smells like BV so that's going to be an awkward conversation), won't swim, etc.
I'm kinda just like....... Let's just get to know her. I'm sure there will be plenty of love.
I get why he is frustrated with her, I also find her kind of frustrating and being honest boring, but ultimately I accept her the way she is. Who knows? She could change her interests a bit after spending time with us. Or not.
I feel like I was always on the other side of being a SP, like I thought it was shitty, but now I'm this kid's advocate?!? Idk what to do really. I just stick up for her as best I can. BTW, none of this makes her like me or give respect. I've just risen above at this point and take her hateful words and move on.
I'm the adult.

There's a lot of overkill but I would like room for expansion so I added a cheaper but at the same time decent gpu, more memory, and an okay processor. Also the case might be older but I really love the design and it had mounting points for some fans for additional HDD cooling. I don't wanna just use some synology box because it kind of takes a lot of the fun out of doing this yourself, I have more than enough money to fund this little project so things could go up in price a bit too but prefer to stay under the 20TB of raw storage before raids and what not.
For now I will mostly plan on using it as your typical media server with movies, shows, and my own personal files. This will be on 24/7

So, my brother has a history of cheating on his long term girlfriend of 5 years. When my other brother, the cheating brother, and my cousin lived together, he would have girls over at night on multiple occasions. I think they ended up working it out, not sure.
When I did my travel assignment last year, Sept - Dec., I asked my brother to check in my apartment occasionally b/c he lived up the street. I also had a blink camera on my door and another camera watching the living room. He invited some girl over, I believe 2 or 3 times. I’m an idiot for not confronting him about it, especially since I felt he betrayed my trust, and I was disgusted, and confused. Still kinda processing that. Also deleted the clips so not sure if that’ll be worth mentioning to him, still.
Most recently, my brother’s coworker sends him a message that she matched with the cheating brother on facebook’s new dating feature. He hasn’t told him about it yet. Only told his wife, and his wife told me yesterday.
I was considering having a sibling meeting with him. Whatever happens, idc. It may put a strain on our sibling relationship, but we gotta hold him accountable. At the end of the day, he’s the cheater and is making that choice, repeatedly. And his GF is the sweetest, intelligent, a bit assertive and reactive, but deserves so much better than him. And then it’s the fact that her parents spoke so highly of him at his grad dinner last summer. I’d hate to see them get engaged knowing he’s being unfaithful.
If y’all have any other recommendations on how to confront him, let me know! I’ve been going to therapy and we’re working how to communicate more and speak openly on how I feel. This will be great practice, I’m sure lol

Is it necessary for Muslim men to sit down when using the bathroom
On my first trip to a mosque, I put on the slippers that were in the dry bathroom, I used the restroom, washed my hands and I left. Nothing more. Later I went to the bathroom again and the floor was wet, as was the entire toilet seating area (under the seat you sit on). Someone sprayed it all down with the badet it seems. I thought the badet was for really using the bathroom, or for the women. Is it normal practice to spray down the restroom for the men after they pee in the mosque?
Must I recite the prayers out loud? I notice when I went to a mosque (only once) the imam(?) said it out loud, but the other brothers praying did it at their own speed and quietly. Is this different when you are in a home alone? What if Im using an application like Namaz to follow along? If im supposed to say them out loud while home alone, but im using an app to follow along while I learn the prayers, do I still say it out loud, or do I say it quietly since the app is leading prayer in a way?
How late can I say prayer? Lets say that Fajr is at 4:28am today and I wake up at 6am. Is it wrong to pray fajr? someone told me you cant pray during sunrise. Is this the same as 'golden hour'? if so, as long as i pray before or after golden hour can I still pray Fajr as long as I do so before its time for Dhuhr?

Because my mom didn’t wanna deal with cleaning up the bed in the morning, or messes, she made me eat and sleep on the floor for years.
My back still hurts and is sore.
When she’d get stressed and angry, she’d throw food at my brother and I on the floor. We’d often eat on the staircase step because it was right outside the kitchen.

Cornellá, Spain. The last time her parents, Luisa and Juan, saw her she was sitting on her brothers' bed trying to play his guitar. Her mother asked her "aren't you going out?". She replied "Yes I am waiting for you to leave so I can get ready". Her parents went for a walk. She left with 2000 pesetas and her ID.
After 10 PM her parents started to worry as she hadn't come back yet. According to them she was very responsible and wouldn't disappear for that long. She would phone her parents to let them know where she was. As this was strange, her parents phoned her friends and they told Cristina's parents that she went to break up with her then boyfriend Javier Román.
Half an hour later Juan went to the police to file a missing person's report. They didn't accept the report until some hours later as the Spanish protocol didn't allow it. After he came back from the station, his wife, son and himself started looking for her through the town. They yelled her name many times and ran up and down the same streets in the hopes to find her. The following days they spent about 3 million pesetas (18000€) in printing posters with her picture and disappearance notice on it. Her face was around the whole of Spain. Her disappearance was all over the national news and many tv programs. Every one made an effort to find her, except for one person, Javier Román.
The man admitted during the trial that he had been with Cristina that evening, but he had accompanied her to the door of the building where she lived. Then he went to have dinner with his uncle and aunt.
Luisa recalls that they were always on and off. They were not stable and she never really wanted a relationship with him. She wanted to be independent and buy her own house with her own money. Her dream was to be a flight attendant. He was her first boyfriend. Luisa did not agree with Javier's way of life in general. He had many "weird" tattoos and no aspirations as to the future. She saw her daughter as a more mature and independent person that didn't really match with him. He was also older than her.
On the night of her disappearance, Cristina's brother went 2 times up to Javier's door to ask for her sister. But he said in both occasions that he didn't know where she was, that he had left her at the door of the building where they lived. He never worried about her and never joined the family in the search.
The start of the investigation As the investigations started, Javier Román immediately became a suspect. He was the last one to see her. He tried to divert the attention and called his investigation a stupidity. He claimed that she had escaped voluntarily and would come back when she was 18. Or that's what she had told him.
Investigators did not believe his allegations. The family had money in their home as Cristina's brother was going to buy a flat. They said that if she wanted to escape she would have taken some of the money as she knew it was there. She would have also taken more things but she only disappeared with a little amount of money, her ID and keys. Her mother claimed that those things would not take her anywhere.
They interviewed Javier in several occasions but he always maintained the same version of events and the same expression. He was cold and direct. They searched up to 3km of a sewer that was beneath his house but did not find anything. They also investigated many phone calls he made before, during and after her disappearance but there was nothing related to the case. They never stopped investigating him but they didn't have enough proof to actually sentence him for her disappearance.
As he was being chased by many people he decided to leave the country and travel to Santo Domingo. Meanwhile, Cristina's mother was constantly awaiting any sort of calls or news about her daughter standing permanently next to the phone.
The last 25 years During the last years Juan and Luisa have lived all kinds of things.
Many people have called claiming they were Cristina and that she was kidnapped. Or asking for money in exchange of her daughter. Others called to inform them that they had seen Cristina in a theme park or retained inside a brothel. Nothing was real.
What really hit them was the anonymous letter her parents received that stated that her body was inside a dump in Barcelona. This drove the police to search for her corpse in the landfill, but nothing was found.
Till today the case remains open. Nothing has yet been found. Where is Cristina?

The thought of her being with someone else is driving me insane, but at the same time it was the right decision to break up. It is so fucking frustrating!
She was my main emotional support, almost all of my happiness & my closest friend. I'm so angry at myself for letting myself rely on her so much when there was so much uncertainty surrounding our relationship. I just thought I got strong enough to deal with it.
There was a time in the relationship when she said that if we fall in love she'll stay in Melbourne. There was a time when she was applying to jobs in Melbourne as a reason to stay, she was definitely looking at staying & I clung to that. We even briefly talked about doing some travelling together. It made it harder when she left. I do feel like I've been messed around a bit & I turned into an inconvenience to her. She knew how much I wanted her to stay, even though I never asked her to. She said it felt like there was a lot of pressure on her, which I do understand. She never meant to fall in love either. But I feel we could have come up with some kind of plan, but she couldn't. She is just kind of winging it.
I understand she was following her dreams & I do truly hope she has a lovely time, but it just felt like I was not being considered in any future plans. There was absolutely no certainty in any aspect of the relationship outside of us being in love.
We started as housemates & kissed about a week in, I knew I was going to fall for her as soon as I went back into my room. The next day I realised how messy the situation would be: were housemates so the fallout could be terrible, her brother is also living with us, she is planning on leaving, I have doubts of how I'll handle heartbreak etc. So I tried to call it off, she convinced me that it was a good idea so we continued.
Then, and this is where I really mess up, a few weeks later the fears come back. After spending every single night together in the same bed I think I'm starting to fall in love with her & I tell her this is a bad idea and I can't to it. She kicks me out of bed & I go for a walk. I realise that I've made a mistake & that I don't care if it's going to hurt, that I do love her & have not stopped thinking about her since that first kiss. I plead my case & she took me back that night, obviously still a bit upset with me.
The next four months spent living with her have been the best of my life. Romantic weekends away, going out together, cooking & cleaning up together, sleeping together, doing almost everything together. I can confidently say that I was a lovely boyfriend in this time, I would regularly buy her flowers, gifts, send her poetry and let her know how much special she is to me. She was equally as wonderfully lovely too, I had never experienced love like she gave me.
Then I'm at work & I get a text saying work approved of her transfer. We had talked about this & in my mind I knew it was coming but my heart still believed she would stay. This brought up a lot of abandonment issues & I took them out on her. I was moody, visibly upset that she was leaving & distant. That said, I did find out my little sister has just tried to kill herself in this time so there was probably a bit of that going on too. But this all just made her feel extra pressure, something she did tell me she struggles with. I do wish I could have kept it together for her.
After I found out she was going I asked our friend to convince me not to break up with her as I couldn't see how we would work with all of the uncertainties. She had no plan of her travels, and was completely honest about not being able to give me any kind of certainty for the indefinite future. He said he couldn't see the romance in it & that it was the right thing to do. I didn't accept that & called up my little sister, she said the same thing and then told me shes in hospital. During the next few days I am a bad boyfriend: cold, distant and moody. I felt so guilty about thinking about breaking up with her, some of the childhood issues resurface, little sister & I don't cope. I finally find a friend who has been in a long distance relationship, giving me hope & I use that. I tell my girlfriend in bed that I was thinking about breaking up with her & she's furious, she's angry at me for how I treated her during this time & says she feels insecure in the relationship. I do my best to make it up to her, show up at her work with a rose, even tell her some details of my mother leaving when I was a kid in hopes for her to understand why I'm struggling. We make up, have a nice few days & then she leaves.
3 weeks of long distance were tough. I'm clingy and she's busy. We have small arguments, she feels pressured by me. Her reception is problematic, stressed with the travels, living situation, work etc. We barely talk. We call maybe 5 times in this time period, all requiring my to stay up until 12-4am for a 10 minute phone call. She's tired from all the stress. This all makes me feel very insecure in the relationship & I tell her how I feel and ask her to please send me a picture of her every day & let's try and organise a time we can call eachother. She doesn't send a picture more often than she does & she can't help organise a time to call. This eventually leads to me asking her to promise me that she's not going to break up with me when I next see her, which is in a short time. I had organised a flight to see my sister once she was out of hospital & my gf was also in the same area. When I ask her to promise me she freaks, saying how much pressure she feels. When I tell her I'm coming soon she freaks, saying she doesn't need someone following her around Australia- I tell her that broke my heart & have to explain that I'm going over for my suicidal sibling, and I do hope to see her too.
She stays with me when I fly over at my childhood home, we have a decent few days but I can't help be angry with her. I'm overwhelmed with being back at home again, worried about my little sister & frustrated with myself & her with how the last month has unfolded. I give some stupid input into her relationship with her brother which wasn't my business & comes off as snobby. She's angry again & we have a bad day. We go out that night & I snap at her while drunk, we raise our voices a bit & don't talk much for the next hour. Hours up & I sit down to apologise, saying how stressful this all is for me & then I misunderstand what she says- I thought she was taking the piss about how I can't look after my siblings. I storm off & leave her & her 24yo brother in town on their own, requiring them to get a taxi back to my place. She explains that I took her words incorrectly & I try to apologise as much as possible. Next few days are bad & I decide that this isn't working, that we are barely in a relationship & that won't change for the indefinite future. That I'm at a point in my life where I need to focus on myself & that this isn't fair on either of us. I once again try to get some kind of certainty of when I'll see her again and she can't give me one, saying she now wants to live in as many countries as she can before 30 & that she can't promise she'll be in the country at the end of the year. I tell her I can't do this anymore. We end amicably, have a reasonably nice last few days & she provides hope for the future.
We continue to text as regularly as the 3 weeks apart & I have a bad day a week and a half in. I make a Reddit post listing all of the bad things I did in the relationship, saying how I regret breaking up & then I beg her to take me back over text. She has none of it, reminding me that I've broken us up so many times before & that I can't act like this. I'm still acting clingy to this day, I just can't find a way to deal with this. A lot of my childhood stuff has come back during this time & it's tough.
I just don't know how to deal with this. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any opinions of how I handled it?

Stalin No. 0099 dated October 8, 1941 on the formation of women's aviation regiments, on October 13, 1941 Tatiana Sumarokova and a classmate Chiuaz Dospanova made an appointment with M. M. Raskova, who was engaged in the formation of women's aviation regiments, with a request to enroll them in one of such regiments. A few days later, the girls were accepted as volunteers into the ranks of the Red Army and sent for training. On October 26, 1941, the future pilots arrived at the place of formation of the regiments in the Volga city of Engels. There, in February 1942, Sumarokova completed an accelerated course of study at the Engels Military Aviation School of Pilots. In the same month, she was enlisted as a bombardier in the 588th Night Light bombardment Aviation Regiment. On May 23, 1942, Sergeant Sumarokova flew to the front as part of this aviation regiment. On May 27, the regiment arrived at its destination. As part of the regiment, she fought on the Southern Front, from July 1942 on the North Caucasian Front, from September 1942 in the Northern Group of troops of the Transcaucasian Front. Participated in the Donbass defensive operation of 1942 and in the Battle for the Caucasus. After three months of fighting, in September 1942, Tatiana Sumarokova was presented with the first award — the Order of the Red Banner. This is how Tatiana Nikolaevna herself describes that time: "In 1942, I was awarded the first Order of the Red Banner… ...It was in September. And then came a wet, rainy autumn. The rains have charged. But the regiment flew without interruptions. Those were difficult flights. Often the target was obscured by clouds or fog. But the task must be completed at all costs. I just want to go on a small rant here.
Last night I get home from work at 11pm, I have a shower then I load up some Diablo 4. I see a few hour long video uploaded by destiny, featuring Mel battling some redpill idiots. Sounds good right?
There I am, mid way through a boss fight. Then this dumb fuck starts going about how people leaving abusive relationships are weak ass quitters and everyone just quits everything and they need to stick it out.
This triggered me off the planet, it might be one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard anyone say. I alt tab out of my boss fight, I don’t stop the video I close the whole fucking chrome application and fucking wonder how in the fuck I am the same entity as that idiot.
I can’t actually tell what the bloody hell this red pill shit is, I’m start to assume it’s giving the worst fucking possible advise out to dudes to try to get them single forever so they can make them more desperate and fork out more cash for more advise or something. I just don’t get it.
I don’t think ever heard them about how to communicate with women which to the shock of no one is most likely the most sure fire way to finding a partner. Instead they try to get them trapped in a never ending loop of finding the most superficial women in the world to churn and burn through.
I just wanted to get that shit out of my head because I hate all these red pill dumb fucks

I am currently working on automating the creation of a shift schedule for a project. I want to hand over my code a list of 0 or 1, and whenever the list contains a 1 at a specific point a squres (indicator for shift) appears. So far so good. It already works like a charm but one thing doesnt work as i want it to work. Whenever i have two doctors working the same shift, i.e. both or all three have a 1 at the same place in the list, only one square is displayed (always the latter one). How do i need the code in order to do this: Whenever there is more than one shift, i.e. two or three, i want the code to display the additional square on top of each other. Lets say, the lists look like this: doctor1 = [0,1,0,...] doctor2 = [0,1,1,...] doctor2 = [1,1,0,...] This implies that all three work shift two on day 1. Now i want that the first squares has the coordinates (see code below) (1.4, 0), the one for doctor 2 (1.4, 1) and for doctor three (1.4, 3). Another example: doctor1 = [0,0,0,...] doctor2 = [0,1,1,...] doctor2 = [1,1,0,...] Now doctor 2 should have the coordinates (1.4, 0) and doctor 3 (1.4, 1). For the last example: doctor1 = [0,1,0,...] doctor2 = [0,1,1,...] doctor2 = [1,0,0,...] Doctor 1 should have the coordinates (1.4, 0) and doctor 3 (1.4, 1). How would i achieve that?
